In the USA the Raccoon top liner lock runs $65 and the crossbar runs $60 USD.
Just as someone with diagnosed heart problems, cardiologists aren't so much interested in what you think is going on but actual data. So if you do get some skipped beats, irregularity and weird stuff happening to blood pressure: Make sure you record it.
That way they can rub their chins and hmm over the cardiograph and they just love that stuff.
It is nice it can do all the data for you without you doing anything. Then you can always choose to share the data log.
Your resting heart rate is athlete grade. I would recommend the watch covers for your new watch. I live hard and swing my arms like a white ape; I break my watch cover monthly.

Pete, don’t ever feel like you have to keep up with the Jones’s, as we say in in the states...Your content has always been superb value, entertaining, and you just have your own way of presenting your work that makes people want to watch, regardless what you’re doing. I am glad you got some 14c and NitroV on your workbench. As I have been exploring these steels myself, and I’m excited to get your take. Additionally, fit bit’s are way cheaper than banana watches, and they provide excellent health data. But I know you wanted one of those silly gimmick watches, and that’s ok. We need something to play with every now and again.
PS quad lock is the best. It has never fallen off my dual sport, which says a lot. And it’s attached to a vibration dampener so I don’t destroy the camera sensor while off roading.
Garmin instinct 2x solar. I'm not a smart watch fan. This strikes the nicest balance between one and a gshock.
Almost never needs to be charged if you touch grass as much as Pete.

Yes, I went from the Stretch 2 in K390 to its close relation, the Paramilitary 2 in 15V. The BBB 15V at 13dps, just like Shawn's set up. Life is good.

120 AUD is about 80 USD, so once you do the conversion, he's basically paying about $15 bucks more than we would. It's still pretty fucked, though; I feel bad for aussies trying to import things.

Regarding Siri being annoying on your watch at times, I’ve learned when I’m doing any chores with it on, especially with gloves, to turn off the Siri started by holding the crown. That’ll prevent it from being constantly triggered which helps a lot when listening to a book or podcast etc

I have both those knives and really like them. Watch out with that Raccoon. Vosteed has a pretty wild factory edge. Close to Spyderco Id say.

Basically why I got an Apple Watch. Exercise, etc. I don’t regret it. It has its annoyances, but works well. As long as it does at least one more useful thing other than tell time then it is a worthwhile buy. Particularly since the older ones are pretty cheap.
And they are reasonably robust…I’ve smacked it on every damn thing…more than once thought “well that must have busted it”…nope. At this rate I’ll never be able to get a new one.
Love my Garmin Fenix, the torch on them is also a complete game changer which i use daily. I couldn't go back to a watch without decent LED torch built in now.

Great additions. I really like the Vision FG, I picked up the S35VN one after loving the Nitro V version so much. The Raccoon with the aluminum handle is one of my faves too. The watch I use just for exercise and to keep track of my next meeting. But I accidentally activate Siri just with normal wrist flexing hitting the side button.
The Vision FG is a great user with a side in kitchen tasks (something like a 'value' Kapara), but the clip Civivi uses is just awful in hand for long. After consulting the wisdom of the internet, I replaced the Civivi clip with a Kizer KS301 clip, and it's much improved.

The civivi FG is actually a pretty solid knife. Ain't nothing special but it is a solid knife.
I’m enjoying the Raccoon top liner lock. Compared with a compression lock it has an extra stop pin, so it kinda seems to take inspiration from the triad lock, as well.

I love the Apple Watch, it’s useful for fitness and for setting timers. I use it all the time for that.

I ended up getting a Garmin when my heart had me worried, highly recommend it over the Apple Watch (sorry Pete!) at least for those with more active lifestyles. It will also sync with your rings if you have an iPhone
I found the lock on the civivi easier to deal with then the shark lock. It's a tad further back on the civivi which works better for my hand size. Not that this matters to anyone but me... also, Love the apple pay feature on the watch.
Knife center might still carry the civivi vision FG in S35VN and carbon fiber scales. Just throwing that out there

Hey Pete. I've dealt with some weirdness on heart stuff, and I'd recommend getting it checked out ASAP. It's one of those things where 9 times out of 10 it's nothing, but that one time you need to be aware of it now. As far as day to day management, CoQ10, Magnesium Glycinate, a basic multivitamin, plenty of fluid, moderate cardio, and cleaning up your diet helps a ton.

I also just watched outdoors55 latest video and realized you have recently upped the bar for youtube creators. As good as outdoors55 videos are, they do not have a significant, dramatic, cat finale. I've seen how UA-cam has changed a bunch of good platforms and good creators into "followers of the best trends" it's all about the views. Why? Because ever since they monetized UA-cam its just gone down hill.
Hopefully all these heart problems everyone is having, isnt related to that inoculation so many got.
