Thats a good way the way I used is I just stick to the wall and shine the flashlight and slowly walk back also spinning in circles really fast also works.

I was on the right track at least but ran out of patience. I game for fun and relaxation at the end of a work day and this shit was definitely ruining my fun and relaxing!

I got through first try. All I did was walk down the middle spinning in circles with the flashlight because the mannequins grab animation is too long for it to actually grab you
Truthfully, it's been so long since I played the game I can't 100% say. But I do know I had gone into the settings and changed the keybindings. This room was complicated in I had to use the WASD keys to aim the flashlight while I used the arrow keys to move the chr, I also believe my shift was run, and another one to keep the flashlight on? It was alot of button mashing.
Man I was so impressed with part 1 but part 2 is so EMPTY and bullshit like this is inexcusable. How are we supposed to know that half the mannequins don't attack you? There's literally no defining characteristics to hint at the idea that some move and some do not. I ragequit over this shit 2 years ago and I just ragequit over it again and I won't be checking out part 3 because I have no reason to believe it won't be more lazy nonsense like this level.
