If only Six had done this in the first place, Not only would six not be alone, but mono’s “curse” would be broken. This is what we all wanted to happen, but it wasn’t what we got.
See heres the thing little nightmares is twisted like normal so they had to not make where the ending was a good as we thought is was gonna be if that was not true the little nightmares wouldn’t be as twisted as it is now cause that would effect the rest of the story because mono is there when really his curse which would make him thin man would not exist anymore so technically speaking the story just wouldn’t be twisted cause six is supposed to be a lone wolf with mono there it would change
@@altaccount393 The new translate feature on UA-cam comments is so shitty, it gave me an option to translate your "haha" to English and it turned into lol
Little nightmares 1 probably never would have happened; The reason Six went to the Maw was probably because of the awakening Hunger inside her. The hunger is tight to shadow Six and probably to her being twisted by the Tower. Shadow Six is implied to be a glitch, just like the ones Mono has been collecting all throughout the game. Add ontop of that, that Mono probably got his powers from the tower on the same night the game takes place in (in the 6th promo comic he hid inside a broken TV right as rain was pouring in, probably causing the TV to Shot circuit, giving him his powers danny Phantom style and teleporting him into the forest) and it becomes easy to speculate that with enough time, he could have fixed her. It's the better ending for her too; in the end of LN1 she becomes a monster which in that moment may feel powerfull, but being a monster in that universe is also a miserable experience.
Well, mono rescued her 3 times but he was the one who get her in there all 3 times and she just didnt want to suffer any longer for his mistakes and be trapped for the 4th time so she "betrayed" him
I think Little nightmares is a Lovecraftian inspired story. Lovecraft stories are usually mysterious and it's up to you to figure out the meaning and plot. Even the ending is mysterious after those tales you start to question. That's what Lovecraft horror is not jump scares really it's about the reality and the mystery of life the fear of the unknown which makes the people uncomfortable
*happy ending Its still a good ending in terms of writting; as cute as six and mono were together we have to remember that throughout the game she showed how she had this dark and sadistic side to her and thats not even mentioning the evil stuff she did (or would later do) in little nightmares 1. We never should have trusted her, but all it took to change that was some endearing music and a bit of hand holding and bam all the warning signs were blured out. The worldbuilding of little nightmares is pretty grimdark, someone as pure and nobel as mono had no chance to survive...
I think Six saw how powerful Mono was (as seen when Mono has to manipulate the transmissions on the TVs and when he shows immense strength by defeating thin man.) and she saw him as a threat because of that, so she tried to eliminate him. But he didn’t die, and now Mono is stuck in an infinite time loop where he try’s to get rid of Six in order to save his younger self. However, his younger self will always be more powerful and be able to defeat him, save Six and eventually gets betrayed by her. Repeating the cycle. (This still doesn’t explain why thin man would need to capture other children as we see by the glitches and in the LN comics. My theory is that he had memory’s from his past self and went to all the locations in order to try and find his younger self and Six in order to stop the time loop. But ended up just capturing other children.) As we all know, when a child gets captured by future Mono (thin man) they leave behind a soul like “glitch” and since Six got captured by thin man, she also left behind a “glitch” or “soul”. And if that is the case and she lost her “soul” that could explain why she becomes so ruthless and heartless as soon as Mono saves her from her trance in the end. (A.K.A betrayal.) Mono is just so powerful, she now only sees him as a threat to her survival. At the end of LN2 we see a glitch of Six appear, so even though Six escaped thin man, there is still an emptiness inside her. An “emptiness” that needs to be satisfied. ( In the end cutscene of LN2 if you listen you can hear Six’s stomach growl, so that’s when her “Hunger” starts.) So in order to temporarily satisfy her hunger/emptiness, she needs to eat. At first, she doesn’t need a lot to eat, but as time goes on, she needs more and more, until eventually she has to consume life force to be satisfied. At the end of Little Nightmares she ends up killing the Lady by consuming her life force, and by consuming the Lady’s evil force, that is the ultimate sacrifice that (in theory,) permanently satisfies and cures her hunger. (Her hunger being the missing part of her that she lost to thin man when she was taken.) After Six is cured, she leaves the Maw, killing anything that try’s to stop her with her new evil powers she got from the Lady. I know I’m probably not 100% right on my theory because the whole lore of this game is very hard to grasp, the storyline is just so incredible and little nightmares is just an amazing game. Still, I wish Six didn’t betray Mono, after all, they made a pretty good team.
this is really interesting, but you’re over seeing this, she didn’t “eliminate him” because he was a threat bc too powerful, she’s a kid, she just wanted a friend, but she never saw mono’s face, but she did saw the thin man’s face, who kidnapped her and tortured her, when she’s holding mono in the end she sees for the first time his face, and recognizes him being the thin man, so, since she doesn’t know why or how the thin man came to her to kill her she just tried to kill him thinking that THAT would stop the loop, while that’s actually what’s making the loop, it’s like when someone says “i’ll change my fate” you can’t, even tho you think you’re doing it, fate is written, just like mono becomes the thin man to get his revenge from six’s betrayal, which is caused but him getting his revenge in the previous loop
@@Leo-gp1yg you might be right but ngl I believe Six is just taking her revenge from mono because he broke her music box(a thing she adored) and also because he let her be kidnapped when he could have saved her.
She was so startled when she found out Mono was Thin Man, that she dropped him, (most likely protect herself.) After all, the person she thought to be her friend in the future, will capture her. I think in that case, we can all understand how Six would have felt. Six has done everything in her power to keep alive, even if it means killing, whether it be the Lady who can cure her hunger, the Gluttons who try and stop her, or even someone who cared about her, Mono. At the end of the game, she's only ever been in it for herself. Mono was an asset, but if it comes down to him or her, we know who she'd chose. Mono is just someone who was affected by her. His endless frivolous loop of wanting to protect his younger self from her will only ever lead to the cycle repeating itself. Which will presumably continue forever.@@Leo-gp1yg
The man probably takes to doing villainous things like capturing other children because the nightmare world creates a corrupting influence on all of its inhabitants. We see Six succumb to this same influence in the first game, and it's likely that all children in this world are slowly corrupted by it over time until becoming one of these twisted adult "monsters." In other words, by the time Mono becomes the villain of his own story, he's probably so detached from reality that he's just another monster who mindlessly attacks children when he sees them. Plus I mean... he was left to isolation in a void for who knows how long, so that probably drove him pretty crazy too. It makes sense that he remembers Six and wants to stop her from turning him into this monster, but at the same time, he isn't in his right mind and can't fully control himself. The irony is that they turn each other into monsters, since Six first starts exhibiting her corruption after being caught by the Thin Man, and Mono shows no signs of malice until being dropped by Six. Six corrupts Mono so that future Mono can corrupt Six, which is the reason Six drops and corrupts Mono to begin with. You can't really blame either of them for it, they're just stuck in a time loop and destined to hurt each other. If Mono didn't exist, maybe Six would be fine. If Six didn't exist, maybe Mono would be fine. Or maybe they'd both have been corrupted some other way down the line, just like everyone else in this nightmare world.
Dude this is technically the one parallel universe that finally ends the time loop Edit: Yes technically almost anything you can think of is an actual timeline i just choose to believe that this is the one our mono really got
The different ending in another universe in the game. . . But in another universe this would be the true ending, and they wanted to see the bad ending, which is our universe . . .
Some says theres an ending included a scene where Six went to a fridge and starts consuming, while shadow six and Mono are watching. But it got removed
It’s crazy how they both think the other has betrayed them. Like because of the loop, when six sees Mono’s face she find out he’s the tall man. And Mono feels betrayed because after all he’s done she drops him, in turn he becomes the tall man and the loop restarts
Six was the one who betrayed him, for the thin man to be created in the first place mono would have had to get betrayed. So in the original timeline, the thin man didn’t exist because there was no previous timeline he was betrayed in. Therefore, six betrayed him ANYWAY regardless of the thin man being a factor. I highly doubt someone could compare monos face to the thin man’s and be so confident in their comparison they’d betray the only person who literally JUST saved them.
@@legalza0843 chill, she's a kid, kids make selfish choices. Honestly though if they both just let it go, maybe the loop wouldn't have happened, though I wish we could've gotten a scene where she explained to mono why she did it.
@@Èèĕě-m1f Even so, six has always been shown to have a clear morbid almost evil side to her especially compared to our other protagonists. And again, since thin man can’t exist in the original timeline six betrayed mono first, THEN he looked for revenge.
@@legalza0843 tbh i don't think this logic applies. Like he would still need to end up in the Teletower for some reason. And the only thing that lures him in the game is the fact that he is Thin Man. And the reason six dropped him is him being Thin Man and possesing danger to her. So there would be no reason to betray him if he wasn't Thin Man. And so on Plus theoretically he could still grow up into tall man or smth like that after he won him cuz he still had power over the tower even after his death?
I'm actually happy with the ways things ended to be honest it wrapped up the mystery of the tall man and monos story. I'm excited to see some new dark mysteries and villains in future installments. I'm also happy that the dark side of six wasn't simply forgotten/left aside after meeting mono. girl was warning her hands as someone burned in agony, snapping arms off of mannequins lol. I guess people just thought she was being "quirky" and she was harmless.
We're not in denial that she is a little monster... we just like to imagine her not as a little monster. Narratively, the true ending is more creative, but for the sake of cute chaaracfer interactions, the fandom imagines happy endings. Everybody win!
So since we know that Little Nightmares took place after Little Nightmares II, imagine how differently the events of Little Nightmares would have been if it was Six and Mono instead of just Six.
Well if we look at this from a logical standpoint there were a lot more self things in little nightmares one. All the things that six had to get around she could do by herself you by yourself she could claim all the windows and all the doors to get out. It may be mono would have played as a distraction character. It would have been so cool to have the runaway kid mono and 6 altogether it would have been really cute like a little friend group.
LN1 probably wouldn’t have happened because it seemed Six only developed her “hunger” after the thin man separated her from her soul (the shadow version of her). That’s the theory I accept at least.
@@elleee..gNo cuz LN2 is when Six gets her rain coat and she still has it on in LN1. Plus if LN happened first then Six should still be constantly hungry in LN2 but that doesn't happen
2:15 dang Mono did not skip arm day 😂 also I love this animation!! I personally believe that in the real ending Six was only trying to save him from her cannibalistic tendencies, but maybe I am just being naive. 😔
But that's the thing tho, would that Hunger still be there if Six didn't drop Mono? Because isn't that Other six her soul and without it was when her hunger started but maybe if Mono was saved it would have never left six. meaning that she would never get Hungry like she did in the first game.
Maybe she wants mono’s powers thats why she decided to dropped him... and yet mono only have half of his powers ( i don’t know why though she didn’t even actually killed mono there she just send him trapped in his life alone with his chair) and that’s why his younger self is much more powerful
What people don't understand is that little nightmares 2 is the prequel not sequel. That means she lost her soul aftershe betrayed mono and hunger took the void emptied by the soul.
Or the ending everyone shouldn’t have wanted cuz then six would eat mono bc if six dropped mono that would be good so mono can keep living and not get eaten by her bc she was hungry
Yeah, it's the happy ending, but Mono's Paradox that he sets himself into is such a perfectly bitter loop. -Find Six with music box -Bond with Six -Fight for Six -Free himself from his cage -Watch her be taken -Fight to free her -Defeating himself -Finding her again with music box -Destroying the music box, "freeing" her, as he sees it at the time -Fleeing with Six -Relying on her -Betrayal -Alone -Understanding -Becomes the Thin Man (Locking himself away) -Tries to stop himself from recreating the cycle -Captures Six in a vain attempt to stop her from betraying him -Ultimately is beaten by himself
@@Helpmefindthewilltolive Ok, not like in a romance sense, I guess people ship them because their adorable, and its quite obviously mentioned that Mono has a crush on Six. And Six, though never have care for any of her allies or friends, would slightly care for Mono to make sure he doesnt die, not just because she needs him to be alive to progress through the vvorld.
Six's betrayal of Mono really rubbed me the wrong way. Mono deserved better, he was probably the only character in the series so far that was genuinely caring.
Instead of trying to escape danger to get to safety like Six does in the first game, he escapes the safety of the forest to head to the dangerous pale city.
You have no idea how happy this made me, I swear I teared up a little after she lifted him up. This is the ending they both deserved. No hunger for Six, no imprisonment for Mono, the time loop finally ends- this is canon in my eyes
@@Kamisomething1 and every time Six forgets how she can stop the loop. Every time she thinks if she drops Mono, he will die. But he instead becomes the Thin Man.
I like to imagine that when she was holding on to him over the ledge, she felt the same power the Thin Man possessed (yknow- cause he was traveling through the tv boxes). Six would then realize Mono *is* the Thin Man, just a younger version. And in attempts of breaking the cycle, she would let go of his hand and leave him to fall into the abyss to his “death”, unknowingly continuing the cycle.
"Finally, after countless of loops that seemed to be endless, thousands of trials all ending with the same fate full of betrayal and despair. Finally... Six caught Mono's hand. And she never let him go"
Honestly, I thought that instead of her letting go on purpose, she lost her grip and that's how he fell instead. So she still cared for him, but just couldn't save him. That wouldve been a good ending too
@Simon Bazemore III Ah yes. the true ending. Also a good ending. Im not disrespecting the ending they gave, but having speculation is nice. The fantastic, what ifs...
Its not though, 6 can absorb powers like Mono's, which she uses to scape the signal tower. She holds him only to drain his power and scape for herself, at the cost of her soul. If she had been more trusting and hadnt betrayed Mono they would have both scaped unscathed. (Except for all the psychological trauma)
@@The_Spooky_Boi I think they would’ve gotten into trouble without each other anyway because they plan to go down the same route. It was inevitable. If Mono wasn’t there for her, she would’ve died in the beginning. I think Six was using Mono to get past the enemies, because she knew she needed the help. And then when Mono destroys the only thing dear to her, the music box, she just ends everything she had with him right there because it felt like betrayal, plus she doesn’t need him anymore anyway, and just drops him.
The funny thing about the real ending is that Mono was trying to prevent Six from fading from the world and she’s just like “Man, how dare you break that music box I had for like ten minutes of the start of the game” and just drops him. Edit: Please don’t get too serious in the replies- it was just a joke and i think most people who have looked at Six’s behavior know that wasn’t the reason she left him there. What I mean is just please don’t start an argument in the replies I’ve seen it way too many times starting off as innocent explanation and someone gets offended. Okay, thanks, have a nice day .w.
To be fair we don't truly know how much it meant to her as we only indeed see her have it for a short while. But yeah it sucks that she betrayed him for that
@@florencejohnpaclibar.1b872 We have little to no reason to think Six dropped him for the music box (that theory is self-contradictory and silly anyway, given how she left behind her music box and "safe space" at the drop of a hat when she saw an opportunity to escape the Hunter's Cabin, so it would logical to conclude she'd feel the same way in the Signal Tower). In truth, it was most likely the fact that Mono summoned the Thin Man, and Mono's involuntarily trips to the TV dimension were seen as a liability (note that at no point does she ever know Mono killed the Thin Man, so she has no reason to believe another summoning couldn't happen again). Six's goal was to survive, and despite the fact that she tried to prevent Mono from engaging with the TV so much, he still managed to summon the Thin Man and get her sucked into the Signal Tower (regardless if he meant it or not, because either way, it's dangerous). That, in her mind, could be seen as an inherent risk of keeping him around. And for an extremely young child surviving on instinct and living in a nightmarish world like Little Nightmares, I can see how she could rationalize dropping him in that specific moment. Not that I'm defending her decision or saying it was right,, but I can see why she'd make them in that heated moment. But most importantly, it was a tense, heated situation. If the Signal Tower weren't chasing them, and the two got to properly reconcile before she was thrust into that decision, it probably would've turned out differently.
@@DLxxx yea ikr, she just A SURVIVOR. she ever got betrayed at the first place at VLN, it's when the raincoat girl close the door and lock it, not letting six get in there. And, idk what did she think when she's get caught by the thinman and mono didn't want to help her. Maybe she think that she got betrayed at the first time, and maybe she think that mono is not Useful or dangerous for her so she let him go :(
Even if she would of ever thought of this out come, she probably wouldn’t have felt guilty. If she could go back, would she save him? Probably, but she would probably move on without a care knowing nothing can be done about it now.

My next is : Mono stay asleep more longer than Six and Six get up with her shadow telling her to go to the maw , so he let mono alone ;-; (also if theirs name are related to theirs fate , Six may just meet all the 5 others character )
I loved this ending even if it's fake, I kinda wish this was the ending only the tv door glitches after six enters and transport Mono somewhere else and they have to try to find each other again. Something that explains his disappearance in the 1st game without having to show Six as a heartless person.
Yeah, the real end was kinda harsh.... I wish they would make Mono appear again in some future games, I have to admit, I cried a little.... To be honest: I cried A LOT!!! SIX WAS JUST......CRUEL!!! poor Mono...
This is the ending we DESERVED. Ugh. 10/10. I almost cried. How much absolutely incredibly more amazing would this game have been if we had gotten this ending instead...
You don't deserve anything when it comes from someone else's story. Especially if that story is well made and logically consistent. Just because you wanted a "Happily Ever After" doesn't mean you deserve it. That's kinda the point of the game's setting.
Somehow, due to a glitch in the system code named “Pol” the original timeline was reset and Six saving Mono ended up destroying the Little Nightmares world as we know it, with every evil entity, including the thin man, collapsing and fading away. The pale city was transformed back into a normal city in the world, the television programs stopped being hypnotic, the viewers became normal, the maw sunk and its remains faded away, the signal tower collapsed in a fleshy mess, and the darkness that seeped through the entire Little Nightmares world was eradicated within a matter of minutes, all because of one little decision from one little girl, one of the few remaining normal people: Six. Her sadistic side faded away with this decision, somehow, and Mono did not transform into the thin man because of her. None of us know how it happened, but ever since the system was glitched, everything changed in the Little Nightmares universe…. All due to “Pol”
If six had resisted her temptations to eat mono, if she had saved him from falling, the time loop that mono appears to be stuck in would end. As such, he wouldn't grow up to become the Thin Man, kidnap six, turn her into a monster, and then get defeated by his younger self before the cycle repeats itself.
No guys there's a theory Six possibly wanted to eat Mono becaause during her time at the signal tower she was kinda hungry so that is why maybe she dropped Mono, to spare him. (obviously that theory is flawed, i dont believe it at all)
No no no no. Six dropped Mono because she saw the Thin Man in his face. She didn’t see his face before then. While she was holding him, she got a good look at his face and realized that he was the Thin Man and since she didn’t want to be betrayed in the future/let an “evil” person live, she dropped him. Little does she know that she restarted the loop. Six only gained her hungry when she left the portal, not that she was feeling hungry.
My opinion: Even though I desperately hoped Mono got saved by Six and they escape together, this ending is more fitting to Six's personality as well as LN's grotesque style.
@@Valdis1231 That's what I thought as well. It's the only section in the game where you physically could not wear a hat, and I think it's meant to be game canon that the hat Six always sees is the paper bag over Mono's head. You can see Six get a good look at his face just before intentionally letting him go. Given that she was traumatized by the Thin Man, it may have been a completely reflexive reaction, and she unknowingly created the Thin Man by doing so.
There's a theory that says that Six was actually hungry at the moment (you know what happens if u know Little Nightmares) and let go of Toby (Mono) cuz she didn't want to eat him.
@@Fluffbirb there's another theory sixes music box is her safe place Momo broke her safe place 6 didn't like that so that's why she betrayed Momo but that's just a theory and question who's Toby?
@@sharpop7535 Huh, that's possibility too. Oh, and I'm sorry about the Toby thing, I give nicknames to the characters, so before knowing his name was Mono I kinda just sticked to Toby. So sometimes I swich the names out of habit.
Same and for all we know she may have accidentally dropped him due to weight and when she pulled her hand back was from a pulling and pushing release cause her hand to jet back
I really wish this was the ending instead. Maybe as Six contemplates on whether or not to drop Mono, she gets a vision of the future due to the time-bending abilities of the tower. Six sees herself drop Mono and he turns into Thin Man. Realizing that if she drops Mono he will just hunt her down, she helps him up. That way the game devs would still get their point across that a time loop is happening and giving us, the players, a happy ending.
That would ruin the experience, though. The game is titled Little *Nightmares* for a reason. It's not supposed to be happy, especially consdiering what the game symbolises.
@@terraristit3752 I totally agree, I'm more than satisfied with Little Nightmares 2 ending, it's just perfect, doesn't need to be happy, I never thought of Six as nice caring person anyway

@@kabobking2127 yeah but there are many theory's on the hunger some say that it's a consequence for betraying mono others say it's because her shadow was separated from her
The way I see it, LN2 is set before the first game, and Six actually let go of Mono because she knew what she was becoming. But of course it's open to interpretation.
@@emeraldkoala2 She didn't know. Otherwise she would not even try to save him in the end. She changed her mind only after she saw his face for the first time and recognized him as the thin man.

It would've been great if the actual game's ending had it to where Six didn't intentionally let go of Mono. Someone or something caused her to let Mono fall. Mono then becomes the Thin Man and believes that Six betrayed him without knowing the truth while Six goes through LM1 with a broken heart Edit: Alright, judging by some of the comments I want to come out and say that even if my comment comes off as naive or wishing too much of a good thing based in a world where it's "Survival of the Fittest", I get that; but my point is I just wished the separation between Six and Mono happened differently. I don't believe Six is the hero of the story nor is she innocent, we're all aware of that.
I wish this was the real ending too, but Six is actually evil. You could see it in the way she looked at Mono after the music box was destroyed. It's like he destroyed the only thing she cared about. But there was a small glimpse of good in her when she held out her hand to help Mono when he jumped. Ultimately, her evil side overcame her and she let him go.
@@JoshArtisto I'm not sure if Six is considered evil though. She's far from good that's for sure, but she seems to have a good side like you mentioned. So she's mostly good until her life is on the line.

Aside from the fact that we deserve a happy ending, think about how much easier Little Nightmares would be with a Mono companion.
IKR
Exactly, Six got the strength and Mono got the hops
Yeah. Going through the Maw with a companion such as Mono would've been a piece of cake. Unless of course Six got hungry and decided to eat him.

I think Little nightmares is a Lovecraftian inspired story. Lovecraft stories are usually mysterious and it's up to you to figure out the meaning and plot. Its still a good ending in terms of writting; as cute as six and mono were together we have to remember that throughout the game she showed how she had this dark and sadistic side to her and thats not even mentioning the evil stuff she did (or would later do) in little nightmares 1. We never should have trusted her, but all it took to change that was some endearing music and a bit of hand holding and bam all the warning signs were blured out. The worldbuilding of little nightmares is pretty grimdark, someone as pure and nobel as mono had no chance to survive...

True
wait what do this comment means?
But ended up just capturing other children.)
As we all know, when a child gets captured by future Mono (thin man) they leave behind a soul like “glitch” and since Six got captured by thin man, she also left behind a “glitch” or “soul”.
( In the end cutscene of LN2 if you listen you can hear Six’s stomach growl, so that’s when her “Hunger” starts.)
So in order to temporarily satisfy her hunger/emptiness, she needs to eat. (Her hunger being the missing part of her that she lost to thin man when she was taken.)
After Six is cured, she leaves the Maw, killing anything that try’s to stop her with her new evil powers she got from the Lady.
I know I’m probably not 100% right on my theory because the whole lore of this game is very hard to grasp, the storyline is just so incredible and little nightmares is just an amazing game.
Still, I wish Six didn’t betray Mono, after all, they made a pretty good team.
The comment size 😵💫, though i agree with you
this is really interesting, but you’re over seeing this, she didn’t “eliminate him” because he was a threat bc too powerful, she’s a kid, she just wanted a friend, but she never saw mono’s face, but she did saw the thin man’s face, who kidnapped her and tortured her, when she’s holding mono in the end she sees for the first time his face, and recognizes him being the thin man, so, since she doesn’t know why or how the thin man came to her to kill her she just tried to kill him thinking that THAT would stop the loop, while that’s actually what’s making the loop, it’s like when someone says “i’ll change my fate” you can’t, even tho you think you’re doing it, fate is written, just like mono becomes the thin man to get his revenge from six’s betrayal, which is caused but him getting his revenge in the previous loop
Fun fact: The only reason Mono tripped in the bridge was because he was canonically tired after "fighting" Monster Six

And again, since thin man can’t exist in the original timeline six betrayed mono first, THEN he looked for revenge.
Naw we don’t even know if that’s she dropped him it was never confirmed
@@legalza0843 tbh i don't think this logic applies. Like he would still need to end up in the Teletower for some reason. And the only thing that lures him in the game is the fact that he is Thin Man. And the reason six dropped him is him being Thin Man and possesing danger to her. So there would be no reason to betray him if he wasn't Thin Man. And so on
Plus theoretically he could still grow up into tall man or smth like that after he won him cuz he still had power over the tower even after his death?
I'm actually happy with the ways things ended to be honest it wrapped up the mystery of the tall man and monos story. I'm excited to see some new dark mysteries and villains in future installments. So since we know that Little Nightmares took place after Little Nightmares II, imagine how differently the events of Little Nightmares would have been if it was Six and Mono instead of just Six.

It may be mono would have played as a distraction character. It would have been so cool to have the runaway kid mono and 6 altogether it would have been really cute like a little friend group.

Mono literally risked his life for six, and what he gets back is getting dropped into a pit of eyes.

I loved this ending even if it's fake, I kinda wish this was the ending only the tv door glitches after six enters and transport Mono somewhere else and they have to try to find each other again. Something that explains his disappearance in the 1st game without having to show Six as a heartless person.

@@mohdalqaisse5620 Didn't she drop him due to thinking that Mono was evil or something?
@@thesnatcher3616 Interesting way of thinking, maybe she realised he would eventually turn into the thin man but he did nonetheless
Well I once read that original ending would have been very much different and had both six and mono escape
This is the ending we DESERVED. Ugh. 10/10. I almost cried. How much absolutely incredibly more amazing would this game have been if we had gotten this ending instead...
Dude its a horror game, u dont get what u want the story is perfect because of its ending.
The actual ending is incredible. Little nightmares is a dark series its not meant to have happy endings
This... this is what we want. We need "Pol" right now!
This is LITERALLY what we want, the "Pol"!!!

I love how Mono just YEETS Six straight up to the platform and then performs epic parkour
Great animation.
I was honestly not expecting that lol. the ending of this game has never made me feel more betrayed so this was a very welcomed ending
Wait she wanted to eat him-
No, why would six eat mono? If she wanted to eat him and was scared of that they would go separate ways after the escape.
Spoiler alert!
Are you mistaking him for the runaway kid who became the nome in the little nightmares dlc? The one Six ate T-T
I kinda wish that six hadn't let go of mono, but rather something caused her to, not just her consciously letting go of him.
@@typhoon_4209 that would cheapen the ending I think
@@typhoon_4209 it is believed that she had a big hunger and let mono fall cause she didn’t want to devour him
@@typhoon_4209 it’s because she recognized his face as the tall man and so she thought by letting him go he wouldn’t turn out as him
@@Valdis1231 That's what I thought as well.
I genuinely believe that six's "betrayal" wasn't a betrayal and I'll die by that
I'VE FOUND A FRIEND

If she helps mono up then how would the time loop still be going i mean she sensed the man out of mono thats why it all happend
That would ruin the experience, though. The game is titled Little *Nightmares* for a reason. It's not supposed to be happy, especially consdiering what the game symbolises.

bro mono be runnin like in the movies 😂😂
oh my god this made my heart hurt the entire time i was so scared, no joke this felt like an actual movie it’s incredible. time to pretend this is canon...
It would've been great if the actual game's ending had it to where Six didn't intentionally let go of Mono. Someone or something caused her to let Mono fall.
Mono then becomes the Thin Man and believes that Six betrayed him without knowing the truth while Six goes through LM1 with a broken heart
Edit: Alright, judging by some of the comments I want to come out and say that even if my comment comes off as naive or wishing too much of a good thing based in a world where it's "Survival of the Fittest", I get that; but my point is I just wished the separation between Six and Mono happened differently.
