Hi! Mayra. Thank you very much for your amazing recipes. I have done several of them and loved them all a lot. I ve made these pancakes in my mini electrical griddle and they came out very cute with the same size. The second time I have made a half recipe with some modifications: such as: 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of PB fit powder, 1/4 cup of ricotta cheese, no baking powder. Cooked it as one big crepe. Rolled it stuffed with some greek style yogurt, fresh strawberries and some pecans . All of them are delish! Thank you so much!

Thanks, i was bored with my same old keto pancake recipe, this works! I wanted to use some additional pantry items so i did 1 scoop ea almond flour and vanilla kachava mix, 1 egg, 3 tbls egg white liquid, 1 tbls egg white protein powder, 2 tspn baking powder, 1 tbls oat fiber and vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. You are my low carb hero!😘
Adding a lil sparking water fromna glass bottle like Perrier, keeps them fluffy too

Hi Mayra! I love all your videos with simple healthy recipes! I pretty much have tried most of your recipes. Delicious!! My favorite and family favorite is the non potato salad with cauliflower instead of potatoes, even my teenage boys love it! Just made these pancakes but with vegan protein powder and one chobani strawberry yogurt because did not have plain plus added 2 tablespoons of water to make batter a little more runny. They came out tasting like cake. Its better than having a donut or icecream🤭

Wow that looks so good. I bought the flavcity protein smoothie and it’s ok. I tried to just add unsweetened coconut milk and it didn’t mix well. I tried to blend it - it was a disaster like it blew up lol. I have two large bag so I will give this pancakes recipe out with it and hopefully it works. Thank for sharing

Omg I made them today and they were good. I didn't use syrup, only butter and cinnamon, and they still had a great taste. Mine were a bit dry, so I'm not sure what i did wrong but they were still super delicious and will continue to make. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!
Stir the mixture with a spatula folding it instead of stirring it it'll leave some nice lumps in there and you'll get a better consistency pancake

Myra is using the plant based protein powder which is 2 scoops for 1 serving size so if you have the whey based Flavcity I would use 1 scoops. For any other protein powder, I would use whatever the bag says is a single serving.

For the curious, she is not using a protein powder, it is a smoothie formula which contains collagen, banana and other ingredients. The collagen will probably add to the binding. That being said there are three variations of whey protein supplements, Concentrate, Isolate, and Hydrolysate. The primary ingredient she is using is whey protein Concentrate and is the less processed whole whey, while isolate and hydrolysate are more processed for specific use. Concentrate includes fat, lactose, and beneficial peptides which help the immune system. One of her scoops is approximately 42 Grams equal to about 25 grams protein. If you use a Whey Concentrate you may be missing the added coagulating affect of the collagen. ... Just sayin' 😁😁🙏🙏

My problem is some recipes that have so-called healthy ingredients ... "I Abuse" ... you have to be some kind of SPECIAL to have control ... then to add syrup & butter ... I've learned for 'me' to stay away from trigger foods ... works well with my journey 😊

I looked up the protein is too expensive. Is there a substitute protein that is not so expensive but with good results as you got in this video.
True, it’s expensive, but u can use any other protein plain or vanilla powder if us don’t hand any health issues. I’m trying to follow an anti inflammatory diet and I like this powder…clean and non inflammatory ingredients.

Try not over mixing the batter if you leave some lumps in it you'll get a fluff of your pancake and it won't be so flat and dense they'll actually rise more

I love these pancakes, but they burn so easily regardless of medium or low heat. I've tried a flat griddle and wok. How do you get them not to burn?
I make my own 4-ingredient pancakes with ~60 g protein:
- 6 dl water (milk is better but not absolutely vital)
- 75 g whey powder
- 3 eggs
- 3 dl flour
Serve with greek yoghurt and berries!

Anyone have a good recommendation for low carb syrup? We used to buy the syrup from Choc Zero but they had to change manufactures and have now stopped carrying the newer brand due to complaints. It was bad. It had an horrible aftertaste. According to their website, they’re searching for a new manufacturer. So many options on Amazon but reviews are all over the place.
Interesting how she will not answer any questions about using other, more affordable, brands of protein powders, but she will answer other questions.

Have you tried a similar recipe for waffles? We were more of a ‘waffle family’
Whilst the idea of using protein powder & yogurt is a good way to make pancakes, dousing it in syrup is counterproductive if the aim is to lose weight. Besides, rewarding ourselves with sugar isn’t really a reward, rather a personal mindset. Perhaps something to think about… Also, there’s no point in a keto-friendly diet if you manually add sugar. There are dozens of alternatives to syrup, just google it, folks. Remember [and this is stupidly simplified, so do your own research] : Keto = low-carb. Why low-carb? carbs (in excess) turn into glucose. Glucose = sugar. Excess sugar that the body doesn’t need for energy-conversion = fat-storage. Watch your carbs whilst aiming to lose weight. Calculate how many calories you need to consume for your height, age, etc. because you ought to be in a caloric deficit in order to lose weight.
