I'm pretty sure he was forced to. The economic situation in China isn't talked about at all in western society. If you do your job wrong you can be fired on the spot and plenty of people are in line waiting for you to get fired. If he's actually being paid to do this by multiple companies chances are he's doing the best he can to provide for himself and/or his family

I feel bad for gavin, he’s probably just trapped in a soul crushing job with an unreasonable manager telling him to send insane amounts of emails.
Edit: When I wrote this, I was working car sales. Our managers were pushing us to log 50 calls, and 50 emails a day. Most other dealerships had me do half that, if they even imposed a rule.
We had to check in with our managers before clocking out, and they would check the CRM to see how many we had logged. You could not leave until it was done. It was miserable.
I've been out of the car business for a while now, and I'm doing construction as I study web development. Hope anyone that sees this takes it as a sign that you can find a way out of a shitty job, and pursue what you truly enjoy instead.

This comment was ages ago lol, but it’s important to say for others that might read this. Don’t IMMEDIATELY leave your job without having another one. Keep your job as you look for a another, so that when you get another job you can quit and not have to scrabble for another.
This is especially true for people who can’t afford to be unemployed, even if it’s for a short time.

A little late to the conversation, but if it's two years later and you're still wondering why he's calling you handsome, it's not because he's flirting with you. Just a literal translation of 帥哥。 "You're so handsome" is the equivalent of "You're so cool". I can see how you'd misread the intent though. Sorry he wasn't into you on the phone.

@Adventist I've eaten soup straight off a fridge. The soup had chunks of chicken. I've eaten all kinds of food cold(and some almost frozen because I'm lazy). Cold pizza, spaghetti, tuna, chicken, beans etc, but nothing compares to how unappetizing it is to eat cold soup. It's the only cold food I struggle to eat.
@Adventist I think it depends on the meat. Like if there is a lot of loose skin, it's going to be pretty gross, but if it's pretty solid and not that hard to chew, I don't think it's that bad, lol.

@Adventist Definitely was a scam. If you owned the product, and could organize sponsorship deals, even if you were in China or whatever, why would you require the sponsored person to give them their paypal, so you could send them money, to buy your product off of a storefront?
Plus, that's like, literally the same kind of thing as your nigerian prince scams, or an IRS scam. You send them money, and they either keep milking it, or use it as a way to force money out of your paypal account.

My mother has the same type of pot and it is a very versatile weapon for cooking. For example: you can cook rice, pot roast, porridge, Soup, potatoes, cheesecake, anything you heart desires ,so overall 7/10 just remember to let it vent after cooking or it will be stanky.

I always wrap my pressure cookers in duct tape and go jogging with it. I've found that the motion of jogging tenderises my stews nicely. It has a secondary effect of clearing the road really fast so I don't have to worry about overtaking anyone or getting stuck behind other joggers.
