I bought one with the vacuum for exact same reason on Ebay from the factory. I wish I would have bought one one 30 years ago when I first saw them on TV. It works fantastic. I gave myself an above average haircut the very first time. I was so impressed that I won't be using salons anymore.
I used to get an $8.00 haircut at senior center until covid. Now I refuse to pay 25.00 that the low cost barbers want. Your haircut looks great and Stacey is a real beauty coupled with an intoxicating smile. Thank you and all the best from New Rochelle N.Y.
Thanks, we were having some fun in these weird times, but the flowbee was something I wanted well before this, I just never did get into the box till now :)
I was telling my daughter the other day she needed the Flowbee for my 2 yr old grandson but I had no idea that it was still being sold. I think it gave you a nice haircut.
In addition to the short straight foot, Flowbee added a new short angle foot on their parts page around the first of this year. It is the last item on the parts page.
Just purchased the kit with the mini vac directly from Flowbee. This has been helpful & entertaining, thanks. Maybe I'll try my first haircut later today...
So far so good on mine here, i use it every 5-6 weeks 90% of the cut is the flowbee then wife helps me just trim up around the back of neck and ears areas, pretty happy with it and it sucks up a majority of the hair too which is nice...
The flowbee is a system that is very forgiving as it is harder to screw up with. What I have seen from friends on Facebook is that when they use the clippers they have screwed up and wound up shaving their guys and boys bald. The clippers definitely require a level of skill to use and can be messy. My husband is the family barber and stylist, He Gives My boys their haircuts every three weeks and I take a seat every couple months and get my long hair trimmed (sharp Japanese steel hair shears only) . Hubby has a knack for cutting hair, he uses the Wahl Designer clippers with different attachments as well as clipper over comb cutting to give my boys their haircuts. They both like their hair kept short, and he has given each teen son over a hundred haircuts each. It takes him about ten minutes each, he uses a cape with neck strips as the clippings would get into the clothes as well as down their neck and back. While one son is getting his haircut, the other is manning the shop vac and clippings are vacuumed up and the cape taken outside to be shaken out. I always hated he sloppiness of the barbershop as they never cared about the mess they left on the boys. I get caped when hubby trims my hair, it reaches to my elbows and is thick, so he will section and trim my hair, letting it down in increments. A flowbee is not a tool that would be a choice on long hair. So I would say that you have had success with the flowbee, so stick with it. As for trimming your wife’s hair, I would recommend a cape , hair clips and watch UA-cam tutorials before you pick up the shears and avoid any hack that begins with putting her hair in a ponytail, that is a recipe for disaster.
@@BonsaiKeto all I remember from back in the day was everyone made it such a joke. I knew no one who ever had one. You guys just make me laugh with how much fun you have doing your vids. It amazes me you've been together as long as you have. You seem more like newlyweds
Yeah, it's the simple things in life the make things great... I've been a hard core, secretive Flowbee user since about 1990. Then, blades dulled up. I moved to Robocut and now back to Flowbee. It really was always laughed at when of if someone discovered that you did this. Screw them. Flowbee or Robocut is the best answer to stop the barber butchery.
I have always laughed a little at Bill, he has used it way back when and when he got it last year I was surprised at how good the haircut came out. ~ Stacey
OMG I loved this video! I have a Flowbee from the early 90's. I used to cut my dog's hair with mine but had to use my own vac. Aren't they great? Your hair looks awesome Bill. You had a great stylist too! ;)
I just ordered one! Thank you so much for your video. I learned that it is easy and it's not messy. Too bad you didn't show the Wahl trimmer part but that's ok. Thank you for mentioning that you used the FlowBe vacuum cleaner to clean up the hair from the trimmer. I don't thin I would have thought of that. Looking forward to hair cuts over here!
I still use mine every month and a half or so, works great and love that it just sucks it all up no mess. the Spacers keep ya from ever messing it up too :)
She's been making masks part of the day today, I may pull the flowbee outt and go a bit shorter now that I have seen it, but it actually did a decent job overall :)
The next purchase for me is a wrap around folding mirror so I can see what I'm doing on all sides that way I can master the Flowbee and my trimming skills.
Yep it’s held up fine, actually makes for a pretty easy haircut on my own then I just have my wife trim up the neckline afterwords. I did order the shorter hair guide for the sides it was worth the $8 or whatnot as I prefer the sides a bit shorter than their kit spacer.
Yea I e noticed even online I am not finding the units like I did a while ago I'm not sure why though they have a great product mine still works wonderfully
Looks good. I’ve missed you guys, I thought you hadn’t posted anything but UA-cam wiped out all my subscribed people. I haven’t seen you since you were sick Bill, how are you feeling? You both look great!
They will be back in stock soon, I saw there were different kits but the one with the vac interested me the most because I hated the idea of trying to hook it up to my existing vac, altho I am sure their adapters work, it would be my luck that it would leak or something, that thing is tiny but powerful!
the foot spacer allows for air to get in and not have the unit just SUCK up to your head (think of a vac wand directly onto your hand), those small spacers of the "foot" piece sorta keep it from sucking directly to your scalp. I guess you could use it without the foot spacer i did end up buying the lower profile foot spacer to get a shorter cut.

Thanks for supporting me - LOL. Stacey just kept laughing but was quite surprised by the end result!
Great cut. I cut my hair with a FLOWBEE but it comes out different every time! Practice makes perfect. Your wife has a beautiful smile!
It is nice that he is able to cut his own hair. Happy that he got the smaller guard as well. Thanks for the compliment, I always try to stay happy!

Wow, very nice haircut!! Looks great, good job Stacey!!
Thanks Deana, I was skeptical at first but agree it can provide you with a decent cut!

Bill got them in about a week ago, big difference, the cut is much better and closer to what he normally gets.
I love you guys! You’re so much fun to watch!! 😂😊
It took a bit to get stacey to stop laughing enough to even DO the video, the things we do to amuse ourselves hehe but the cut came out decent! - Bill
Bonsai Keto It did look good! Who’d have thought! 😂
GM Sunshine & Bill! What a fun video! Happy Monday! Be safe! God bless!
Thanks Alishia!
It's such a funny contraption but it works! Great video.
Yes it took a while for Stacey to stop laughing at the idea to help me with the video even, but I think we converted her :)

New job for Stacey! Make sure to tip her! ;)
Yes she was a good sport about it all, very skeptical but afterwords she said ya know that turned out way better than I expected hehe.
Yeah Bill, you should always rip your stylist! 🥰

I see me using this a lot more when I get the shorter guard feet for it, especially this summer and the zero cleanup factor ;)
It looks good. Will it work on people with normal sized heads?
I just love you 2! I thought they stopped making flowbee's years ago. Hair is looking good!!
Awe, thanks! I could not believe it when we found it. I am sure you can tell by the giggles - who would have thought it would turn out pretty decent!

Thank you. Blessings to you.

Thanks super simple too!
Looks really good 👍
Flowbee is Great for middle long hair as well ( these keanu reeves lookalike haircut is awesome with longer hair cause you get it layered )
It did give a good haircut!
I'm torn between a flowbee and clippers. Your hair looks great.
I have to admit, I laughed when he told me he got a Flowbee but it does give a good cut!
