This video is as late 80’s as it gets lol. Glad to have seen two whole YTPs of this in the past decade! Also, you know you are confident in your product when you include an entire instructional video with the item.
@@debk6161 I don't mean to be cheeky or provocative, but you don't really think they're sincere when trying to sell the efficacy and integrity of this product, do you? There's absolutely ZERO chance of getting a real, effective and consistent haircut with this product, as they advertise. ZERO! This product is a gimmick. The only profile of person who will get a cut as they claim is a person with short, straight and fine hair requiring a single uniform length of hair. If you bought this product expecting a variety of quick and wide-ranging style of cuts, you've been duped.
@@debk6161 How did your haircut go Deb? I've used mine for 28 years and have been extremely happy with it. Several years ago I considered buying a new set of blades for my original machine but decided to go with a whole new machine since my original machine was getting close to 20 years old. I recall all six spacers together will add up to about 6 in and you can start there. I'd be surprised if you didn't get a very quick cut from the start as it cuts clean and quickly. The blades don't pull your hair they just CUT your hair and cuts it fast! I've always been able to get the exact same cut in less than 5 minutes 3 minutes if I hurry up.. If I've gone over 5 minutes it's because it feels pretty good like getting a scalp massage. I remember all those years ago when they were sold on infomercials late night I was tempted to buy one when they were about 200 bucks then later they got down to about a hundred and should have bought one then but didn't. Years later I commented on a friend's hair cut and he said he used the Flowbee and that he got it at Walmart for 50 bucks. I immediately went that day and have been happy ever since. No appointment no waiting your turn no payment no tip no hair down your back. I love this thing. I hope yours has worked out for you.
@@twodogs3868 I can't blame you for thinking that way two dogs. But from experience I can tell you it's nothing like the way it's portrayed in Wayne's World pulling on Garth's hair! Hilarious yes but not accurate. This thing has been great for me all these years. I know exactly when I got my first machine because my son was in Little League at 12 years old and after practice I went and bought one. He'll be 40 in a few months so that makes 28 years since I've been using a Flowbee. I do realize that cutting it different lengths or with the taper attachment may not be as easy but I don't doubt that it would do a good job. I've always used a single length which makes it extremely fast and easy. I kept my hair a little longer in my younger days and now that I'm 65 it's a little shorter. Still a great haircut in 3 to 5 minutes even after all these years. Like you, I also answered Deb. Then I read your comment and I'd like you to read the one I sent her as well. I hope she had the success that I've had and I hope she answers back.
I'm not sure why but there is something ASMR-like about the voices of the hosts & how they speak, both in how they pronounce certain words (like cut & remember) & their articulation. I'm not sure what it is but I've had this video playing in the background a few times while working on menial tasks & it seems to help me concentrate. So thanks Ms. Ellie for uploading this obscure infomercial.
I didn't realize this wasn't the YTP until a minute and a half in, and I was like laughing and laughing because I thought it was so funny that is was made to look like an actual intro. Omg.
I just tried my first cut. It's a little short but actually not bad. I saved $20 plus a tip and a lot of time. I know next time what to do and will only get better. I like it.
These were the commercials from the eightys. I bought one after I cut my hair short then realized I have to cut my hair every 3/4 weeks easy I like the way my hair looks neat and clean all the time
There was a parody of this commercial where they kept taking about “cutting every kid in America” and I’ve been looking for it for years and can’t find it anywhere
My girlfriend wants me to use George Clooney's hair style. A web search resulted in Clooney having used the Flowbee for about 25 years! I thought what the heck and ordered one thinking better accuracy, convenience and savings would be great. Hopefully, this will play out well. My girlfriend is upset with the thought.
Here I was, after watching for about 2 minutes and thinking "16 minutes, it'd be funny if this _wasn't_ a YTP, but just the actual instructional video!" Then I realized... that's *exactly* what was going on! 😅🥴😅 Imagine using this, and the spacer assembly falls off while you're "bouncing it up and down", and then you accidentally mow it _right down to the scalp..._ 😲😧🥺
I used to think this was funny when I watched it as a kid. Now like 30 years later, I recently got one and swear by the Flowbee!
We all loved these types of videos as a kid

Hi, I'm Briarb Lollins.
interpolated to 60fps like a boss. Props to your professionalism

Thank you for republishing this video because it was always my Calming video.
Why is this so facinating, I can't look away..... That warranty card was thrilling.
Brian: Now, if you haven't already done so...
Me: You're donezo
Brian: Remove all the contents from your box...
Me: Oh. Right.
Wow. I had the same thought when the host said that.

When you watch a video and you're live-pooping it in your head.
This is golden.
Hairdressers and barbers must have thought their whole industry was going to be shut down by this invention!
Three small drops, dumps the entire oil container contents on the blades. In the 80s we just went for it, turn back the clock...
I nodding off on percs and klonopin watching this..very ASMR..
Even though I sought this out, I still expected the music at the beginning to accelerate out of control.
well, I seem to be missing the power cord...
time to fire up the time machine and head back to store!
bounce it up n down
Holy shit the comments aren't even old. UA-cam why did you send this to us
That young girl is terrified of what they are doing to her hair
any kind of cut imaginable. ..in about 30 minutes we will see
There’s no way he got a flat top haircut by the way Gary described.
There was a parody of this commercial where they kept taking about “cutting every kid in America” and I’ve been looking for it for years and can’t find it anywhere
Is it this? ua-cam.com/video/dIziGzBgVfs/v-deo.html
And if you haven’t already done so, you’re donzo!

I'm in a trance I cant stop watching 😐
8:10 ABSLUETHLY
Those damn kids and their trendy hair cuts
wasnt this thing in waynes world
"It certainly does suck"
So I take it the mullet attachment is no longer included?
I skipped straight to Garry.
i thought you edited this
What is the foot guard for… can I use spacers without that?
Yes. It's a straight and also angled spacer you can buy separately off their site for a super close cut, what barbers refer to as a number 1 or 2.
It is suspicious because it does not make any sound.
Is it just me, or does Brian Collins sound a lot like Huggbees?
You noticed that too? I thought that I was the only one that noticed that. Brian does sound like an older & less sarcastic Huggbees.

noisepuppet? Is that you?
I personally like to bounce it up and down
Drum track sounds like a rip of Billy Don't You Lose That Number.
*My number that is
“rikki don’t lose that number” by Steely Dan
I don't think he knows what a flattop is, or even ever had one
Why are you so angry, Cathy?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good lord these people are awkward.
It was the 80s, we all were
They must have downloaded that music from a porn movie.
They couldn't download back then 😂 but yeah definitely a porn vibe to it
Omgosh tho o thought Gary was a “before” oopsy whoops
This is so bad.
I can't believe people buy these lol..might work better on thin, straight hair?
That kid has a huge forehead
I hate this it literally cant make any haircut except a bowl cut
Are you fuckin gaslighting fans now?? I watched this as a UA-cam Poop not 2 hours ago....
