I want you to know I tried this method of using Napkins and it really does work. I did a tester on my UA-cam page and made sure to shout you out and I provided a link. Thanks you so much for the idea.
Wow, that is so elegant and sophisticated. I think these could be amazing center pieces at tables at a group event (like an evening wedding or big anniversary party). Beautiful!
Thank you!! When you do, if you have Instagram or Twitter (both DIYNoNeedToTry) please tag me so I can see it! Also if you have any trouble feel free to ask me anything :)
Love this tutorial and can't wait to try it out. At the end of the video there's a glass vase in the background. I've the same vase but at a loss on how to decoupage such a shape. Are you planning a tutorial on it?
Thank you I'm glad you loved it! Yes I made one already with the same tissue to match the bottles for that vase. The link is in the description box and I've made other vases as well. I have a vase playlist if you want to check it out. :)
This is what got me hooked..I think I would of used a plastic wrap to smooth out wrinkles and bubbles, maybe put the sealer on last.. we all learn from each other, your work is so pretty...miss you...Lori...
Hi Lori! Oh how miss you all as well!! 😩🙏❤ It kills me but I know God is order my steps and therefore I'm being patient and listening so when the time comes I'll be ready.... and you're absolutely correct! That was definitely one of the mistakes. Did you see how rough I was with that napkin with my finger 😅 good grief! It's a miracle it didn't break.
I love this! I bought some black and white napkins with similar print at Dollar Tree that I'm going to try this with. It'll be my first decopauge bottle. Hope it turns out!
Awesome! If you've never decoupaged before, please practice before doing the final project. Don't get discouraged if you don't get it right away, I still mess up 😂 Happy crafting!🤗
Thank you! These I believe I got off of ebay and I don't think they have any more but if you Google black damask paper napkins... some nice one's will come up. Hope that helped. :)
Thank you Katin, I'm not sure, as I never tried that. Let me test some thing's for you and i'll get back to you. I'll make a video to show you what I've tested and if it worked. :)
Thank you! This was when I first started to decoupage. Now depending on the craft, I cut or wet and tear. The reason for wetting and tearing over cutting is that it blends better with the white base. :)
New subscriber here! All of your work is so beautiful girl! For some reason, whenever I try to use a spouncer with acrylic paint, mine always ends up bubbling? Do you have any advice on what I could be doing wrong or how to reduce the bubbling? :)
Hello and welcome! Thank you!.. When I use my pouncer brushes, I use them dry. So I only put paint on them. I notice that when I'm waiting for a section to dry... i'll put the brush in water and when I go to use it again... that's when I notice that tends to happen. Also let's say i've been loading the brush with lots of paint and it's really saturated... that is also when that starts to happen. So to avoid that, use a dry clean pouncer brush and don't wet it in between coats. Instead wrap it in plastic wrap so it won't dry out until the next coat. Hope that helps and thanks again!! :)
Hello, some people use Elmer's glue mixed with water. I believe it's 3 parts Elmer's glue to 1 part water. I've never used it but some of my viewers have told me they have. :)
This came out freaking amazing! How did u know how to cut the napkin in those pieces? Are u following how it is on the napkin or just your wild imagination.. this is great
does the bottle have to be painted with acrylic paint? will spray paint work? i have bottles that are spray painted. some are white, some pink & some blue
Hello, white is a must when using paper napkins to decoupage... as for spray paint, I'm not sure because I've never tried it but I don't see why not. If you're going to use the spray painted bottles, cut the image out exactly. Don't do what I did and rough up the edges. Good Luck and let me know how it turns out! :)
Sure but you have to take into consideration that whatever color you place under will affect the napkin design. I would test it out first before doing a whole bottle to see if works.
Hola, he comprado esa servilleta en Ebay, así que lamentablemente no creo que pueda conseguirlo, pero si usted Google Black Damask Paper servilleta, encontrará algunos hermosos. No puede sólo puede utilizar pegamento Pvp. Yo uso Mod Podge. :)
I'm not sure as I did this over a year ago but it don't see why you couldn't do this for a girls crafting night... unless there is more wine drinking then crafting, you should be fine LOL! :)
Beautiful! Congrats! Love them all...👏👏👏👏
Thank you! :)

I love it😍🌹❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! :)
Great work! Why do you wet and tear the paper instead of cutting it out?
Thank you! This was when I first started to decoupage. Now depending on the craft, I cut or wet and tear. The reason for wetting and tearing over cutting is that it blends better with the white base. :)

...oh and to avoid that happening when you've over saturated it with paint... take a paper towel and squeeze all the paint out.
This is just gorgeous....where did you find the napkin?
I bought those a very long time ago on eBay but if you look up black and white Damask paper napkins, you'll find some very pretty ones. Thank you! :)
nice one
i have a question a you able to use any other glue apart from mod podge
Hello, some people use Elmer's glue mixed with water. I believe it's 3 parts Elmer's glue to 1 part water. I've never used it but some of my viewers have told me they have. :)
This wine bottle came out beautiful. I obviously have no imagination, what would this b used for after all the work u put into it?
Hello and thank you! I have a bottle collection but I also use them as decor pieces and vases. :)
WOW
Thank you! :)
This came out freaking amazing! How did u know how to cut the napkin in those pieces? Are u following how it is on the napkin or just your wild imagination.. this is great
Hello, the napkin had the pattern... I just cut each piece out and placed it in the right place. :)
does the bottle have to be painted with acrylic paint? will spray paint work? i have bottles that are spray painted. some are white, some pink & some blue

DIYNoNeedToCry thanks so much for responding ☺☺

Any way to do it without painting the bottle? Or just adding a tint of color to the bottle?
Sure but you have to take into consideration that whatever color you place under will affect the napkin design. I would test it out first before doing a whole bottle to see if works.
Yo uso Mod Podge. :)
♡♡♡♡ gracias!!!!!!!!
And how long did it take all together with dry time. Can this be done as a girls night of crafting?
I'm not sure as I did this over a year ago but it don't see why you couldn't do this for a girls crafting night... unless there is more wine drinking then crafting, you should be fine LOL! :)
Nice work as always! Do you sell any of your work?
Thank you, Tammy, and sadly, I can't yet, but it's in the works! 💕🤗
