Thank you for this video. I am a disabled Vet looking for something to do on bad days, weeks or months when I am in way to much pain to work outside. I have a few hundred bottles I am saving to build a wall out of and get hundreds of bottles a month from wine clubs. But, in the mean time I can do things like this to decorate the house and to make some money. This will help me in so many ways.... I like to feel useful and that isn't easy when you have sever injuries that keep you down. Thanks again.
This makes me so happy and makes all the work I put into these videos worth it and some. I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from pain on a daily basis and want to thank you for your service. I appreciate the sacrifice you made for our freedom. I will keep you in my prayers, thank you again and God bless! :)
Thanks again. And you are very welcome for serving. I loved serving my country. I deployed 7 times for combat. It was something I was very proud of and felt great that I was able to serve my country. I was looking at videos on what to do with all the glass bottles I have for building a wall and your video came up. I am very thankful that I found it and have watched it now 4 times. This will be very new to me, but, looks like fun and looks like I can do it. Thanks for putting that list under the video. I had no idea what most of that stuff you used was. lol. So, having that list helps a lot. If you have any suggestions on where to go for supplies or online stores please let me know.
You're welcome and I always leave a list of supplies in every video. I buy most of my supplies in bulk and online but you can get most of it at Walmart, eBay, Amazon and craft stores like Micheals, Hobby Lobby or Ace Moore. The laser print you can get anywhere they print copies out. Most places use laser printers but if you want to make sure, just ask them. :)
Stephen OConner I totally understand where you are at. I have had 21 surgeries in about 30 months. I also paint the glass from picture frames I get at the dollar store.
Oh how pretty!! I'm actually decorating two bottles right now (one with hot glue hearts and the other butterflies) and I'm too excited to add this to them now!! Thank you for the inspiration and so glad you were suggested to me!
I believe it's the first time I've seen a DIY for a stain glass bottle and I really like the end result. This one is going in my "Crafting to do List" Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wow! that is fabulous. I truly enjoyed this video. what a great method to come up with your own glass paint. Much cheaper than buying tons of expensive paints. OMG, I love this.
This is absolutely PHENOMINAL!! I must have onel!! No, not just one, at least 3 Iwant them for my kitchen. Talk about a statement piece!!! You are brilliant girl: your gift amazes me. I pray that God blesses all your efforts and that your gifting brings you the reward you deserve, as you bless and inspire me too "try something small", just to get my feet wet in the DIY world. I am not naturally gifted in this area. but I want to try some simple things just to see what I can do. Thanks for sharing your brilliance in such an easily understandable way. Blessings in all you do my friend!!
Hello, and what an uplifting and beautiful comment!! Thank you so much for taking the time to write me. I am humbled by your words. I'm so happy that I was able to inspire you to try! If you need any help, please feel free to ask and I will walk you through it the best I can. Thanks again and God Bless! :) XOXO
DIYNoNeedToCry You "got your Creative on"! 5 stars! Shared on FB! If you can help me figure out how to hide the light's wire that goes to outlet, I would so appreciate this, all I can think of is taking my candy jars to a place to "wet-drill" - have had these 5 years - set up on a shelf to hide wires.. PS - Must see for YOU, "50 + Beautiful Bottle Decorating Ideas", here on UA-cam!
+DIYNoNeedToCry Thanks for a very interesting post, here are a few more tips for how to make wine… Use the correct equipment. Things like plastic buckets and bins come in different grades of plastic. You must use the food-grade plastic products not the cheaper buckets you might use to clean the floor! If plastic buckets and bins start getting scratched and grazed, replace them. The grazes will start harbouring microbes and eventually you’ll have a spoilt batch of wine. If stirring the must (the initial mix of fruit and water etc.) in a bin, scald the spoon with boiling water first to quickly sterilise it. Fill and top up airlocks with cooled, boiled water - never straight from the tap. Avoid metal spoons and sieves with fermenting wine - i.e. after the yeast has been added. Sometimes they can taint the wine. Avoid wooden spoons, which are hard to sterilise - plastic is far better. Reusing wine bottles is fine, ask friends to save them for you and check with local clubs or restaurants who are often willing to give them to you. Wash out immediately as a clean bottle will be a lot easier to sterilise when you come to use them. Rack your wine to clear it before bottling. That is, using a syphon tube, suck up the wine from one demijohn into another leaving the sediment (called lees) behind. The tubes with a base and valve are cheap enough and a make this quicker. Allow the wine to settle for a week and repeat if necessary before bottling Never judge your wine by the taste as you bottle it. Most often you will think it is a disaster. Some wines can take 2 years to mature. As a general rule, perhaps try a bottle after 5 or 6 months. If it tastes harsh, leave the rest for at least another 5 or 6 months. Allow time. Time is the great wine maker and you should never be in a rush. We’ve made wine that was 9 months in the demijohn before bottling and drunk it three years later. The next year it was even better! (I learned these and the reasons they work on Pavas Grape Plan site )
I've been meaning to do one as all of you keep telling me about this lamp lol. You are right though, this would be the perfect bottle for that. Thank you! :)
Absolutely blooming brilliant. I REALLY appreciate you going the extra mile and explaining the "do's and don'ts." Your teaching skills are excellent. Clear, concise instructions, fantastic camera work and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm very excited to see what else you do. I'm subscribing! Sending you some love and appreciation from England. (Ps, I LOVE your accent... are you a NY gal?) xx
Hi Laura!! Welcome to the family! Thank you for such wonderful, positive feedback. It really makes me happy when someone notices all the work I put into these videos. I work really hard on them and it's all worth it when I hear stuff like this. I want my viewers to be able to recreate any of my DIYs with ease. I'm so happy you are joining us and no, I'm not from NY but people ask me that every now and then. I'm Puerto Rican so maybe that's what you're hearing Lol! Thanks again!! XOXO! :)
you've done it again! I enjoy all of your work.you really have shown me ,"I don't need to cry". my son and husband went to the recycle centers and came home with 30 bottles. Some are square ,some have handles. I want to try something gypsy.i would love to see you do somthing like that.
Hi Lori!! Lol, that's so awesome! Looks like your going to be covered in glitter, gems and glue for a while lol! I would love try and create a gypsy bottle, sounds like fun! I have a few request ahead of yours but rest assure i'll be making that bottle! Thanks Lori! :)
That is absolutely beautiful!! Love it.That is a lot of work. It is just so pretty and professional looking. Don't know if I could create anything so special!!
OMGOSH OMGOSH!! Me a newbie to your channel...and I am so in LOVE with this technique. And the best part I have all the supplies, so no need to run to Hobby Lobby...lol. Thank you so much for sharing and your tutorial is so easy to follow...and thank you for adding the happy accidents too. Most don't show you that and you learn the hard way. Thank you and God Bless, Debs from Texas
Lol, welcome to the family DC! I try and use common crafting and house products as I can! So happy you are going to give it a try! God bless you too! :)
I wouldn't do this in the bathroom as I don't think it would do well with the moisture. Maybe if you use the waterproof Mod Podge instead. I have been meaning to try it with the waterproof Mod Podge myself but have been very busy with other crafts. I'll have to test it out soon. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! :)
I can't stop watching...I've already ordered different bottles as well as the wine bottles so I can begin to try this technique...thanks so much for teaching this technique...Wow...Awesome
She has a pleasant voice to listen to, speaks clearly, and is very specific and informative. Love this video! Definitely going to make a flower vase centerpiece! Would immediately subscribe if she did a channel of these.
Hello, good news... I do have a whole channel with mostly bottle videos lol I hope you stop by and check out my other videos. I'm so happy you enjoyed this one. Thank you! 🤗
Great Video, Thank you, for posting, and all the great info on what products to use and techniques, looking forward to seeing more of your projects, as is inspiration.
Lol, that's right! No crying, just crafting! The materials I used in this bottle are pretty inexpensive. The only thing's that are a bit more is the black fabric paint and the Mod Podge Brilliant Gloss.
At walmart they sell sun catcher paints set of 12 colors or more very inexpensive that would work great for this project as well.Great tutorial! Thank you!
Excellent tutorial ! ! All the details you worked out is outstanding. The average crafter can be inspired to create in stead of just wishing and dial up the next video. This one is a keeper. Will keep an eye out for more of your inventions. Thank you :-)
Oh my GOSH, I was just browsing through the craft videos and came across this one. It made me gasp, it's so stunningly beautiful! I must try your technique but I think I'll try transferring a pattern to a flat piece of glass since it'll be the first one for me. Thank you so very much for sharing your talent with us. I so appreciate and...I most definitely subscribed! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Well hello, Jamie, Nice to meet you! Welcome to the family! That is smart, starting off with a flat surface is a really good idea. You don't even need to transfer the image that way. You can just put it under the glass and trace it. So glad you enjoyed it, thank you! :)
Thank you!! Reading this makes me really happy because I specifically tried to explain thing's much more clearly in this video. Well you just let me know that it worked!! :)
I love the stained glass look. I paint dollar store frames. I use an acrylic pen to outline and acrylic paint mixed with clear school glue. I love using my matalic acrylic paint with the glue to add a bit of shimmer
I just finished watching this tutorial. You rock. That bottle is fabulous. I have a piece of beveled glass that I picked up on the side of the road. Yay. I want to do something like what you just did. I'm hoping to write something like "Kiss me Goodnight" or "Sleep Tight", I plan on hanging it in my bedroom. So I have big ideas but NO talent. Would you just write the words with fabric paint? I was hoping to make them big and bold. I will definitely take your advice and start with something small. (maybe a ragu jar? ) I'm so glad I found you. Your talent inspires me. Wishing you well.
Hi Alan, well I'm happy to have you as a part of this community! We all have it in use, I find that the biggest problem is figuring out how to execute an idea. That doesn't mean you have no talent because once we know how to do it, we can recreate it. So don't ever say that missy! Lol! Yes, I would definitely start off with something small and a flat surface would also make this process so much faster and easier. For the letters, I'll make a video and show you, okay hun. In the meantime practice on that spaghetti jar. :)
First I love your recovery story. Very similar to mine. Second excellent video. You instructions were clear. Audio level perfect. You showed each step very well and organized. Very well done !!
Do you need to clear coat it or seal it with something? I'm wondering if markers like sharpies or other types of markers would give the same effect? This is really cool. Gives me ideas!
Hello, I didn't seal it but that might not be a bad idea. I have seen others do it with the markers but I myself have never tried. If you look up faux stained glass with sharpies, you'll find videos on it and thank you! :)
Hello, I'm sure you can. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it will fade after time with the sun beaming on it. This was me just testing it out as an art piece. Thank you! :)
Wow, thank -you so much for reminding me about this lost art!!! It's been so long , I've been wishing for someone like you to bring it back to life! You did such a wonderful job on this peacock bottle!! hats off to you!!!❤️😎✌🏻🕷🦇🔮🦉👻⛓🇺🇸🎚😁🍕🌶🍷🎂🏈🏒🥋🎤🎸🎭
Beautiful results. I'm sure it is a lot cheaper to make your own paints than it is to use Gallery Glass paints it seems to be the same basic ingredients. I've used them in the past.
Thank you and yes, the Gallery Glass paints go for $2.40 each on the low side so for all the colors it'll come out to about, $43. A box of food coloring is about $3.50 and the Mod Podge Brilliant is about $6 so a total of $9.50. Saving you about $33. Wow!!... doing the math really made me realize how much of saving that is! :)
Keep on creating , you have smart's and skills. I recently watched a' how to make a dragons eye' video, I didn't have any large glass pebbles and wanted to try the method so I did it on the bottom of wine glass stems. They turned out really nice if I do say so myself. HAPPY CRAFTING! :)
You got yourself a new subscriber! Love...love...LOVE Stained Glass! This video was easy to watch, understand and, your results are stunning. Can't wait to try it out. I'll also be looking for your next video about this showing your NEW METHOD. Thanks for the ideas!
A lot of work involved but your results are beautiful! l happen to have some clear glass ball ornaments that would look great using this process. Christmas presents!
Thank you and that is a great idea!! It will be a lot easier for you if you're just decorating the ornaments. You can use any puffy paint you want, gold, silver, glitter, the sky's the limit, have fun and let me know how it turns out! :)
Hi!. Great video. watch a lot of videos re: this stuff but not too many I want to either "re-watch" or "save." But your explanations were very on point and you were friendly with out talking ti us like we were 5 yrs old or assuming we knew as much as you did. (You did not tell us what kind of paint you used to fill in the spaces or I missed it - quite possible). The finished product is gorgeous and I would proudly own one! I DID subscribe and I will be doing this one I know. If nothing else just for the bird! WOW To put that Bird on a outdoor wind chime or on a Patio Door would be beautiful too. See you have created a monster! Loved it. So glad I found you an you will hear more from me (sad for you I am sure). Kris
Thank you, these are the kinds of things that make me smile and make me want to bring all of you more videos. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Welcome to the family and it's not sad at all, I love communicating with my viewers!! :) XOXO
I have also been sober since 2013, there is nothing like having a sound sober mind, and the world of arts and crafts has replaced my alcohol addiction.May God co tinue to bless the work of your hands💝
Hello Irma, thank you! Yay, so happy you will be trying this! Let me know how it comes out and if you have any questions, feel free to ask and i'll help you the best I can. :)
Super CUTE!! I''ve got about 30 wine bottles sitting in my kitchen that I'm looking to do something with but I'm such a newbie t DIY I'm scared I'll screw up, lol. So glad I found your channel, you make everything look so easy
This is great. I'm thinking I can do something like this using a jar inserting the top of a solar post light. Congrat on your recovery journey! I just celebrated 6 years sober.
Congratulations!!! If you do, you should know that if you use the food coloring, it will fade over time in the sun. You can do one of two things to prevent that. You can seal it with a UV protective sealing spray or use glass paints. They have cheap ones available on Amazon that don't cost as much as the Gallery Glass paints. Again! Congratulations on being sober 6 years!! That's awesome!! 🙏❤
Wow this is such a great idea and I love the peacock. Thank you so much for sharing. I am definitely going to try this project. I like your channel giving you a thumbs up and I'm a new subscriber
Your stain glass technique is stunning. I am assuming the modpodge in the paints insures adhesion to slick glass but is the fabric paint secure on the glass? I want to try this myself but don't want the paint to flake off in time. Your work is beautiful and your time and talent are appreciated!
Thank you but I can't take credit for this technique. I learned it from the UA-camr I mentioned in the video, but I can take credit for the bottle idea and design lol... and yes the puffy fabric paint is doing just fine on mine. It still looks the same way as when I first made it. Thank you!! :)
Question: Can I wash them?? with using fabric paint as a liner not sure how that will fair. I also never worked with Modge Podge. I usually paint with Pebeo Glass paint. AND where did you get those application little bottles? This is really beautiful
No, none of this is water proof. The little bottles are old E Vaping liquid. I quit smoking years ago but was still getting my nicotine from vaping. Those bottles contained the liquid I would use but I am 3 months nicotine free now! Thank you! :)
Thank you!... I used to be a smoker and I quit but still craved the nicotine so, I used an electronic cigarette to give me the nicotine without all the other dangerous stuff in regular cigarettes. You have to buy e liquid for the electric cigarette and that is what the bottles are from. I am happy to say, that I have weaned myself off of that as well and have been nicotine free for almost 2 months!!
Muy lindo y bien explicado. Gracias por subtitularlo para los q no hablamos su idioma. He visto muchos de sus videos y todos me han gustado. Dios la Bendiga. Saludos desde Panama.
Hello...I just happen to find your channel and watched this video. OH MY GOODNESS...I loved what you did with this bottle!!! WOW, it's gorgeous! So happens that my sisters b-day is coming up on the 26th and guess what...her last name is Peacock! I will definitely be making this for her. In fact I'll be making two, as I have got to have one for myself!!! I have subscribed and so look forward to watching more of your awesome designs! ♡ dd
Aww, thank you, Dee Dee! Well then this is just perfect for her, I think that's so cool that her last name is Peacock and so sweet of you to make this for her. Lol, no shame in that! I miss some of mine I've given away and wished I had made one for myself. Thank you so much for subscribing and welcome to the family Dee Dee! :) xoxo

Stephen OConner I use a dab of acrylic paint to clear school glue and a black acrylic pen to draw the lines
Man, the possibilities are endless with this idea. You can do sheets of glass, do your design, and then frame them to hang in the window!! Awesome!!!
Hello and yes, I'm working on a framed one myself! That was one of my other ideas. Thank you!! :)
Oh how pretty!! I'm actually decorating two bottles right now (one with hot glue hearts and the other butterflies) and I'm too excited to add this to them now!! Thank you for the inspiration and so glad you were suggested to me!
Hello and awesome! Glad to have you in the family! Welcome! :)
I love it! Perfect housewarming gift for my sister who is doing a peacock themed bathroom in her new house! Thanks!
Thank you and she will love it! :) xoxo
👍👏😊 How nice to see a real video with real mistakes. Thanks for sharing.

I believe it's the first time I've seen a DIY for a stain glass bottle and I really like the end result. This one is going in my "Crafting to do List" Thanks for sharing this with us.
Awesome and thank you! :)
Wow! that is fabulous. I truly enjoyed this video. what a great method to come up with your own glass paint. Much cheaper than buying tons of expensive paints. OMG, I love this.
Aww, thanks but I didn't come up with the method but great none the less. Thank you! :)
Your work is so beautiful. I have paid a lot of money for this type of work. I am so happy and I'm going to try to make one of my own.
Thank you, I'm so glad my video could help! :)

You can buy a lamp kit designed for bottles like this. This would make an awesome lamp.
I've been meaning to do one as all of you keep telling me about this lamp lol. You are right though, this would be the perfect bottle for that. Thank you! :)
i love it and it was helpful with you showing spots that weren't as good as others spots you wanted, but it came out awesome.

You are very talented.
Thank you! :)
this is the second video of yours I have watched and all I got to say is "wow" this bottle looks great !
Thank you, Carmen! I'm so happy you are enjoying my DIY's! :)
beautiful and so perfectly explained
👍👍👍👍
Sounds lovely please share your work on my facebook page, I would love to see it and thank you! 💞🤗
Wow! This is just beautiful! Just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward making some pretty bottles. Keep creating!
Thank you and welcome to the family! :)
she be on it..not even mad. keep up the great work and continue inspiring😊
Lol, thank you!! :)
That is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you Chelsea! :)
First I love your recovery story. Very similar to mine. Second excellent video. You instructions were clear. Audio level perfect. You showed each step very well and organized. Very well done !!
thank you
sharing is caring
Beautiful artwork
Thank you and YW! :)
WoW, WoW, WoW! I love this video just awesome. I am definitely going to attempt this , my mind is just spinning with ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you and Yay!! Have fun! :)
OMG, it came out BEAUTIFUL, 😍 I LOVE IT!
Thank you hun! :)
can you use the same steps to do a window this is soooooooo awesome ...your work fabbblousssssss
Awww, Thank you and that's so awesome!! :) Love hearing stuff like this! :)
You got yourself a new subscriber! Love...love...LOVE Stained Glass! This video was easy to watch, understand and, your results are stunning. Can't wait to try it out. I'll also be looking for your next video about this showing your NEW METHOD. Thanks for the ideas!
Hello Lori and welcome to the family!! Thank you for the feedback! :)
PURE GORGEOUSNESS ‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Now I know why I saved all those wine 🍷 bottles ♥️THANX A MILLION ARTSY FRIEND 👍🏽
This is brilliant! I loved the look of the bottle when you put it on the window sill.
Thank you Simon! :)
You're welcome, cheers! :)
Waaaaaw so beautiful! and your way to explain! I would like to give it a try!
Thank you and you should! :)
Thankyou for the inspiration, this looks great, will definatly give it a go 😊
That's awesome and thank you! Take your time. :)
If you put the picture inside a jar you save much work. :)
You are so talented. Thanks for these great tutorials.
I'm humbled. Thank you! 🙂🙏
Wow You are a ROCK STAR
Thank you!! :)
You are sooooo talented, and so kind to share your knowledge and expertise. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for showing how to do the stopper!
Loved how you decorated, is so beautiful, so talented. So clear how you explain everything.
Thank you! :)
Great video! Very thoroughly explained!
Thank you! :)
Hi!. Great video. watch a lot of videos re: this stuff but not too many I want to either "re-watch" or "save."
But your explanations were very on point and you were friendly with out talking ti us like we were 5 yrs old or assuming we knew as much as you did. (You did not tell us what kind of paint you used to fill in the spaces or I missed it - quite possible).
The finished product is gorgeous and I would proudly own one!
I DID subscribe and I will be doing this one I know. If nothing else just for the bird!
WOW
To put that Bird on a outdoor wind chime or on a Patio Door would be beautiful too.
:) XOXO

Super CUTE!! I''ve got about 30 wine bottles sitting in my kitchen that I'm looking to do something with but I'm such a newbie t DIY I'm scared I'll screw up, lol. So glad I found your channel, you make everything look so easy
Thank you and I screw up all the time. I just start over from scratch until I get it right! Practice, practice, practice! :)
This has got to be my favorite video so far!
Awesome! Thank you! 💞🤗
This turned out so beautiful! I'd love to make something like this someday!
You should totally try it! Play around with it and get familiar with the technique first. Once you're comfortable with it, go for the gold!! 🤗
You're amazing Ivelisse 😍😘 Waiting to display my next orders .... these take a lot of time and hard work 😓 My friend, you're doing a great job
Aww thanks Ruby! You are amazing too, I love your bottles and yes it's time consuming but very rewarding the end! :)
Thats beautiful
Thank you! :)
Brilliant crafting, documentation and presentation. Well done!
This is so amazingly beautiful. Very Pretty. Luv it. Can’t wait to try this. TFS
what a great look and idea.
Thank you! :)
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
This. Is. Incredible!! Just Beautiful!!! Thank you for doing it, videoing it and posting it!
This project is very beautiful nd Simple. Nd would.DEFINATELY make a Nice Xmas.Present. Great Ideal.U made my Xmas . Thk U.

It’s Absolutely Beautiful!!!! The custom cork!! Was a awesome idea!!!
Thank you! 🙏🏼❤
Merci pour ces astuces, très belle création.
Merci! :)
You "got your Creative on"!
5 stars!
Thank you, Beth! :)
Thank you! :)
That is absolutely beautiful. What kind of little bottles are they?
Thank you!... I used to be a smoker and I quit but still craved the nicotine so, I used an electronic cigarette to give me the nicotine without all the other dangerous stuff in regular cigarettes. You have to buy e liquid for the electric cigarette and that is what the bottles are from. I am happy to say, that I have weaned myself off of that as well and have been nicotine free for almost 2 months!!
Just beautiful. Thank you for the tutorial.
It’s beautiful ❤I love it!!🥰
