On those really rough days , when you want to quit please check all the positive comments people have left for you . Take a deep breath, pick yourself up and keep going . It’s all good 🙏🏻

    This man seems pretty humble for being such a bad ass. I get that people have a lot of doubts about traditional martial arts but you can't deny the hardening this guy has put his body through, facing him would be like facing a guy swinging lead pipes at you.

      He has sparred/competed with lots of guys and says that many MMA guys tend to be rather soft (especially those who focus a lot on BJJ) but karate guys can be super hard (especially those who do Kyokushin).

    • @nvanguy6868
      @nvanguy6868 3 роки тому +4

      I 100% agree i used to fight in kyokushin for a long time then i switched to muay thai and SOOO many of the muay thai guys are very soft to the body and legs. But they will crush alot karate guys in a real fighht due to the head punches. Dutch style kickboxing actually combined kyokushin with muay thai

    I cannot tell you guys how much I thoroughly enjoyed watching this! it was the best vlog I have seen for a long time! I couldn't stop laughing when the GrandMaster was rubbing your arms in the restaurant! Personally, I think he became really fond of both of you and it seems as if he was really eager to test you guys to see how far you can take the pain and also your willingness to learn. Shame there is only one part to this vlog, but since subscribing to your channel I have to say I have never really given time and enjoyment to any fitness channel except this one. You guys are doing an amazing job and great opportunity to the likes of me and others. I will definitely join your classes soon.

    If i want to train Sanda i will mix it with the Muay Thai and Boxing to be more effective and some Judo throws this is for the stand up fighting
    And for ground fight wich you can be forced to you need grapling skills and the best in it with most techniques is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

    Very interesting stuff! Are there some exercises you can share with us to enrich our training? Do you have suggestions to do the hardening drills in solo variant? How to find the right dosage? Are there dangers to do this kind of training? At least it looks dangerous!😈

      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому +3

      Thank you Hansi! Hardening drills can be easily done by yourself (strike forearms together) but for shins you need an external object. It can create some problems (like long lasting lumps) without the massage afterward. The next episode is out! bit.ly/internal-kung-fu

    thanks for sharing. ive learned the same arm hitting exercises from bagua. im beginning to wonder if they were taken from an art like this, as I see the same basic pattern in many styles of CKF. ouch.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому

      These arm hitting exercises originate from Shaolin kung fu. Many Chinese kung fu styles have many similarities. Bagua can be great if the teacher is legit

    I'm curious about the teas you guys have. Error handles pain very well though do keep that in mind. Everyone who does hard training will actually cry at the least once lol

    This master is super good. Some might tell all this hardening is useless. But if u don't harden ur body it will be useless in a real fight. We don't carry weapons so we have to make our body the weapon. Thnx for these videos. And I wish I could train under him

      I would hardening is very useful even for combat sports like MMA, it hasn't just become popular.... yet

    Just curious dude some years ago where your did train OAC/OAP. How far in your training did your go. Like where your able to do a partial 90 degree arm bend OAC/OAP. On your website the article says 2-3 progression variations. And gradually build up to 5x5 or 4x8. I find 5x5 works best for me with those 3-4 minutes of rest works best for neural adaptations. ANd me its the bottom part i am weak at.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому

      I was capable of doing half reps pretty much. But focusing on OAC progressions won't help much if the structure of your body is weak and you will build the structure with the basics like two arm pull ups, chin ups and other basic exercises.

    • @Asadc1995
      @Asadc1995 6 років тому

      @@Vahvafitness I can do things like 8-10 pull ups so the basics is not the problem.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому

      @@Asadc1995 No, the basics are always the solution regardless of your level. I work more on the basics now at this level than I did in the past

      It's effective. In real fights you don't have gloves. If your fists aren't strong, you will break them.
