    Guys I would suggest spending a year or two doing small and grand circulation on your own before starting anything else (as you need to first really feel the energy in your body and be able to direct it - practice practice practice)..
    Buy a book by Yang Jwing Ming and then after that you can think of actually using your physical body in terms of movement Qigong. The hard work isn't very complicated but takes insane amount of time and patience and focus. After this you'll actually truly benefit from more advanced stuff like the info this guy has to offer.
    Also as a Muslim I feel the urge to tell you that keep in mind the Divine energy of God while doing this, so you don't destroy yourself with the dark side. There are qualities of energy and good and bad energies. That's more important than anything else, and almost no Qigong teacher will teach you that. Keep remembering the names of God while meditating and you'll be fine inshallah.

    I did the Wim Hof method for some time a few months in, then for some reason there was a period where I was experiencing anxiety and at the same time fatigue it felt similar to adrenaline fatigue due to overtraining.
    It might be just me, im prone to overtraining if I overdo something or I was just doing it wrong.

      Sure, absolutely. Jiang Yu Shan just spent decades & fortunes and went through massive obstacles (learning Chinese, integrating into Taiwanese culture, dedicating his life to this) to learn this from the real grandmasters of the art. Then, we at VAHVA Fitness spent fortunes to find this man, traveled from Europe to Taiwan 3 times and spent 2 months with him to get this knowledge to a broader public. Then, a lot of people spent a month to get the course ready. And now, a random dude on Internet wants everything, the best knowledge with the best production quality for free. And the worst part, even if we did, people would do nothing with it because they gave nothing in return which means they have no skin in the game.

    • @arash-so
      @arash-so 4 роки тому +9

      I appreciate what you all do and I know the value of this knowledge is much more than $2000. I didn't mean to give everything for free. Wim Hof has a simple method that Jiang Yu said it would make lots of fire in you if you do it for long. I meant that would be nice of him if he explains one simple cooling breathing for the health of people seeing these. I'd love to know it and I don't have the money to spend at the moment unfortunately.

      @@arash-so If you wish to learn about the energy body of the human system , that will actually take you a long time. And every school teaches you something in a slightly different view. Because , usually we are trying to achieve a certain reason , so how we use the energy will be slightly different. The follow is serious , although might not seems logical to people , feel free to try it out. Get more sunlight during the day , and visit places where there are huge water flow (just be near) , and now because we have to wear a mask so getting fresh air , just let your skin on the body breathe a little , and have some contact with the trees or the soil. But , stay safe. By doing so , you will balance your elements in the body , and there are many things that actually going on if science try to find out , but that doesn't really matter. Try this out , once in a while , and try to see if there is any changes for you. This is a simple method that everyone could do , and nature will help to balance things out. If you wish to self learn martial art (that is not recommended) , maybe just try to clam yourself down more , and get in touch with nature more often. You will see nature will do wonders for you , being clam in nature and meditate in the house are totally different. You will see how nature heals you sometimes even just by being near nature , and try to develop the sensitivity to nature.

    Thank you and thank Sifu Jiang Yu Shan for sharing this knowledge and wisdom. Wholeheartedly agree about how practitioners in the West proclaim themselves experts after short periods of studying and "certification." For example, everyone and their mother can become a registered yoga teacher just like that. As you both learn more from Sifu Jiang Yu Shan, will you update the course content in WarriorNeigong? Or perhaps create a different course?
    Also, as you delve more into ancient wisdom, I would love to see you possibly learn with Master Shi Heng Yi (Shaolin headmaster in Germany) and DK Yoo (growing more popular with his video 15 martial arts and emphasis on meditation, relaxation, speed, fluidity, etc). I'm curious to see what intersections they have with the teachings and wisdom of Sifu Jiang Yu Shan.

      @Vahvafitness  4 роки тому +4

      Jiang Yu Shan has a lot to teach so we will probably create a different course but it may not come sooner than next year. We might do collaboration with other masters, I heard many big names in Shaolin have reached out and showed support to Jiang Yu Shan recently. Regarding DK Yoo, I think he has great skills and talent but do not know much about him otherwise. Has he competed or fought? If not, why?

    • @cardthrow09
      @cardthrow09 4 роки тому +1

      @@Vahvafitness sounds good. I do not believe DK Yoo has competed before. He has shared about being in street fights, being stabbed, etc. Similar to Jiang Yu Shan, DK Yoo also trained Korean special forces. Some masters like to compete, and others choose not to. I'm not sure DK Yoo's reason.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  4 роки тому +3

      The modern Shaolin is different from the old Shaolin and in the modern Shaolin they all follow the same curriculum (the standard kung fu). I looked into DK Yoo, and not to take anything away from him but he should not be in the same conversation with Jiang Yu Shan. I have trained (and still train) MMA in Finland and Russia. Been to a serious Muay Thai fight camp in Thailand. At this point it's very difficult to find something useful and essential to learn outside the MMA. MMA is not a joke and you cannot walk in with party tricks, what you learn has to actually work.

    • @Awakenedmind333
      @Awakenedmind333 4 роки тому

      VAHVA Fitness what I am now evolving to understand is that there is no necessity for you to do anything in terms of sharing DK Yoo’s research. If one wants to learn that, he has courses and books available. While I think it would be neat for you to possibly get some private sessions with him just for your own video reference and experience, I much prefer your ability to share an in-depth engagement with those who’s voices have not been casted broadly. There is a lot to learn out there and individuals like you shed light on the inside of such valuable knowledge first hand. DK Yoo has already done that in his own right, hence forth there is no reason for you to rehash something that he’s already established. I very much enjoy all that you do and I’m glad that you are being exposed to the world of MMA. While I’ve done BJJ and Boxing, I’ve never trained for kickboxing seriously. I find that DK Yoo’s methods are most effective for an actual fight for survival. The practices would be meant to intentionally hurt somebody and maim them, not for competition or sparing light sparing with partners. Therefore, MMA would be more practical for one to learn in the most roundabout way in terms of excelling in exercise and activity. Strength, endurance and stamina are all tested to some degree. It seems like knowledge of fitness is the underlining component of any system. How one conditions and decides to use their body is up to them. Any tool can be more useful if applied correctly.

    Interesting.
    on a side note -
    The decades old Harvard studies on Tumo breathing, where advanced level monks went to the university to be tested. Came to this conclusion by looking at the training and examining the bodies while the monks performed it. I believe many have taken this info and used it (but don't credit the Harvard study)
    Tumo breathing, is really creating a situation where you can suppress you urge to 'shiver'. If you can resist the urge to shiver, long enough, then an old (natural) human skill comes out. The ability to directly burn body fat to create body heat (whereas, normally humans skiver to do that).
    In the past, in many cultures around the world, they had all invented excersises to 'reactivate' this body function (including places like Europe). The danger lies in allowing the body to eat too much body fat during this process ..it can cause muscle wasting and then death.
    It's true, people in the past (all over the world) didn't feel the cold like we do today :). Too many warm clothes and houses made many of us loss this ability.
    Basically idea:
    Slowly endure colder environments, while never shivering, ..until you can stand in the cool without worry/shivering. You'll feel heat in your body and will not feel cold.
    Taking ice baths can activate the same ability Sometimes in one session.
    Once you 'relearn' the ability, it's pretty easy to do.
    Note:
    Shivering for heat is something really only humans have evolved to do. All other animals shiver to pump muscles with blood (and burn body fat for heat). Shivering does have benefits, so suppressing shivering should only be done when needed :)
    Peace.

    • @Llucius1
      @Llucius1 4 роки тому

      The breathing method is not to suppress helpful effect of the body , the breathing is creating a certain pattern for the energy of the body to behave in different ways. Also , the breathing method is a method to help to control the involuntary muscles and system in the body , to behave in a way to create heat for the body. With practice , heat will generate in certain area on the body , and using that heat certain , one could get the heat from this centers to warm the rest of the body part. This is actually also the slight difference between wim hof and yogi method on the heat generation. Wim Hof achieve feats by pure will , and actually very very very impressive. If Wim has a proper learning on how the body works , he might achieve something far beyond imagine.

      Are you concerned that western society would not give it the respect it deserves? That western culture would turn the art into something it was never meant to be? For their ego? And to meet their own desires? Honestly, living here in America, that's what concerns me. However, giving more thought I have no doubt you don't train people who are unworthy. It will be teachers worthy of teaching the art with respect to students who also give it respect. The Grandmaster I had said you don't choose it. It chooses you.
