    Exactly what I was looking for. I was under the impression that when the solenoid wasn't energized the oil would flow but it's the opposite way. Thanks for such an excellent demonstration of the vanos operation.

    I got to tell you that you're doing a good job with this videos. I find them really useful, and with each one I've seen I've learned something

    Wath voltage do you use on the electrical valve ?

    • @pazi88
      @pazi88  8 років тому +3

      12v from car battery.

    • @nadmeldev
      @nadmeldev 6 років тому +4

      12 volts, direct from battery, but polarity is crucial or you will blow the diode inside the solenoid unit

    What air pressure you put? Tis says 2-8, but mine not working well with 2-3bar, atleast 5 needed

    • @pazi88
      @pazi88  4 роки тому

      If that is the case, your vanos seals might be leaking.

    • @ezhm5
      @ezhm5 4 роки тому

      @@pazi88 yes it works with around 4-5 bar. But does its normally that vanos unit have some flex give a piwer for solenoid?

      ua-cam.com/video/2vFEu4adv9c/v-deo.html
      Engine with spring diaphragm.
      I double checked all surface clean them some oil, vanos piston moves and rotates easy by finger. On that video pressure around 4-5 bar and vanos works, but so worry about flex when solenoid on. On your video its solid

    • @pazi88
      @pazi88  9 місяців тому

      Well then there is nothing moving the cams, so not really. You can only hear if the solenoid clicks.

    why is there a pressure. Is this System working with magnets or air. i dont get it. If its air how is it working in a real running Car?
