Starship - It's Not Over ('Til It's Over) (Guitar Cover)

- There isn't a lot of guitar in this but enough for an excuse to play along with a great Mickey Thomas vocal performance! I also like the rhythm of this song too. I chose the single version for the slightly longer solo section and I wanted something a little more tame while I get used to my new Charvel DK24 (it's purple btw). :P

i can keep on listening to this song all day long.. keep 80s rock alive man!
What a fantastic chorus. Must have been amazing live. Great guitar work as ever.
Love the Charvel!
Amazing cover. This is such an amazing song. I love the chorus on this song. And the guitar solo is the highlight for me. Sounds amazing every time I hear it.
That new charvel is a nice axe indeed!
How wonderful is it!
I became your fan.
I request STARSHIP.
Dude, you killed it. I like listening to your covers over the original guitar work. 💪🤙
Great song!!! Many thanks man!!
Man, I probably wouldn't have been impressed by the original song but your version is just incredible! The part from 2:38 till the end, that's the best Christmas gift I will get this year, thanks :-) Wonderful playing!
NICE...I think Craig Chaquico still played on this one? Haven't heard this FOREVER...good work 👍
MrCarl5150 Yes, he played guitars on the entire “No Protection” album, which this song is from. 👍
Another one smashed out the park!! Proper. Track does remind me of "Stone in Love" by Journey
You're great ad always .....Thank you!
Great cover!
Sweet! I didn't know you posted another starship song cover!
Another outstanding cover! I really love the sound and style you bring to every cover you upload. Looking forward to the new Super Monaco tunes when they’re ready too.
I’ve been watching your videos for a few years ago but only realised you were Scottish recently!
Keep up the good work.
All the best from the Highlands!
Cheers Scott!
That was quality
Strong work as always.
I see you got Charlene. Awesome job Ben👍🏼
I'd love to hear you play Wild Again or I didn't Mean to Stay All night from the Cannibals album.
Great cover, play exceptionally well. Would love to hear cover of Find Your Way Back.
This is awesome!!!
Great guitar! Is that the Full Shred/Jazz arrangement? Nice job!
So always bravo:)
Good job, well done
GUITAR solos are GOOD
Que buen solo...
New guitar! Wow, how you finding the Charvel?
Thanks! It's great, just a complete upgrade on everything...except the head shape :P
Legend melodic rock song i like song
The opening chord in this song is deceptive. :) That is, you are only playing strings D, G, B, A (barring with the index and fourth fingers), but you're muting strings E, and A with your middle and ring fingers. This sounds like the chords Craig Chaquico actually played. Great song...
Really love the tone! Such a cool new axe too. If you don’t mind me asking, are you still using an fx unit to get your sound? Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah I'm still using my Boss Me50.
Amazing.
But maybe you should reduce guitar sound level. Just a little bit. It would be closer to original 80's sound as if it was originally intended.
P.S.
Sorry for bad english
Thanks! These videos are to highlight the guitar so I want it to be heard clearly. Usually people want it turned up more but I try to find a nice balance. Your English is good.
@@bwm5150 Well, then it's clear. Good luck. More and more and more videos on the chanel and live gigs!!!
You should do "I might lie" by Andy Taylor from his Thunder cd
Awesome cover, man 🤩
Please, what your setup to this sound?
Thanks, I use a Boss Me50 into a Palmer Pdi09.
@@bwm5150 Thanks a lot, man. I love the 80s pop rock guitar sound like this 😎
Great playing what cords are these?
skip andrews Thanks! Looks like a lot of Eb5, F5, Bb5, C5 etc
Is this tuned down a half step?
Standard
Excellent performance and amazing sound. Could you explain your signal chain and fx? Thanks...
Boss Me50 into Palmer Pdi-09. Half gain distortion with a compressor on it, reverb, chorus and then some delay for the lead lines, cheers!
What is the purpose for chorus in the distortion and lead lines? and what settings do you recommend for that purpose? Thanks @@bwm5150
I have a boss me50 but don't know what settings to adjust. Do you have presets for sell or share? thankyou
Chorus makes it all thicker but I also like the sound of chorus, some don't. I have an old equipment video with my settings in the description, use them as a guide but go for a sound that you like and works with your set up.
I experimented in the past with detune fx and it works great too. Thank you so much for your time and advice. How is the old equipment video named so I can searching @@bwm5150
Top 10 Best solos of Def Leppard, please!

@@bwm5150 and White Lightning, Gods of War ?
Bro, could you do a cover of live it up by danger danger? That would be ludicrous!
I'll give it a look.
Can you do Color of Your Smile by Night Ranger?
It's a possibility..
Is there a TAB for this?
I write up tabs on my Patreon but haven’t done one for this yet. I learn by ear so there’s not anything I can link to.
