- I've been thinking about doing this 'power pop' song for a while but I finally found the nerve to give it a Go-Go...This is of course a cover of Belinda's classic track from her '87 Heaven On Earth album. There's actually some cool guitar parts hidden in the song, which you can hear more clearer on instrumental versions, but I thought I'd try and add some parts of my own to both have fun and accentuate the stuff already there. These added parts are of course in the style of Def Leppard. :)

@@bwm5150 It's a tasteful, melodic solo with space in it - perfect! As one friend of mine says, the art of the slow guitar solo has been lost. When they're done right, there's nothing better!
How about my red '87 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA instead. Much cheaper to insure and maintain. It sort of looks like a Testarossa 😆

80s pop perfection + Def Leppard = Heaven on earth (no pun intended). The Leppardized guitar cover series is in my personal opinion the greatest idea on UA-cam. Hearing some of my favorite 80s pop songs with some Def Leppard guitar riffs, licks, and solos are so refreshing to hear. I absolutely love this cover. And it still sounds just as amazing as the first time I heard it. Probably one of my favorite covers on the channel.

The eighties, and into the early nineties... Probably the best era ever for power chord pop. So glad this was my teenage decade. You made a great song perfect. I wouldn't be afraid to be caught cranking this version in my car at the traffic light. Ha!

I really like how you change up that arpeggio pattern between the verses. Most beginner guitar players would do the same pattern throughout. Very nice and original!!

Fantastic cover of a truly classic 80s song. Been a fan of BC since 1988 and always appreciated some of the great guitar work. "Should I Let You In?" (from the same album) has stunning guitar. It would have made for a great concert opener.
