On Water Boat Examination

If you ever get approached by a marine law enforcement boat, they may ask to do a voluntary equipment inspection.
Here is a video taken during the Marine Board's annual Marine Law Enforcement Academy on Lake Billy Chinook, in Madras, Oregon. A new marine officer (student) is tested in a scenario where they approach a boat and need to not only instruct the boat operator on what to do for an on-water exam but also ask the right questions about required equipment to check for compliance. In this scenario, the student is thrown a big curve ball but passes with flying colors.
