I know that you like Lisa Larssons animal figures very much. Just want to inform you that she has just started a project with the Swedish company ”Skultuna” and she is now making her figures in brass. Lisa Larsson will be 92 yrs old here at the beginning of September and is still going strong. Greetings from Sweden
My friend I’m staying the weekend with right now just spent a month in Sweden over the summer and took lots of pictures of her studio and current pieces for me! I was just looking at them last night 😍 I hope to visit her studio someday!!
You inspired me to finally accept my Grandmothers bedroom furniture from my Mother and bring it to my place next week. It is lovely from the mid 1920's, they purchased it new. Our entire upstairs is empty as all of our 8 kids have moved out. We planned on selling this place and getting a two bedroom somewhere, but I have several friends from childhood that I am still very close to and some live around the US and come back here to Ktown to visit family and friends. So I thought I would create a nice space in my place to save them hotel charges.
Speaking of bucket list items: I spotted a Dansk ice bucket in the photographs for a local estate sale that began 08/12/2023 at 9 AM. I didn't make it to the sale until 2 PM but guess what, IT WAS STILL THERE! It was $40.00 and still there because some people planned to go back for it on half off day! I am thrilled to have it and hope to use it often for entertaining. It is huge!
I don't know what is about Oregon goodwill or the antique places but you all seem to have just BEAUTIFUL things. Every store you went to i wanted everything. ❤❤
My one big problem with all of these home delivery foods is THE PACKAGING! I so hope everyone is recycling. Jessie has such a nice smile. Good assistant. A real gem. Thank you for sharing. Great haul. 👍❤️
Thankfully it’s way less waste than regular food from the grocery store 🙌 cutting out middle men by producing farm to table cuts down so much on additional packaging. Most items at the grocery store arrived it a lot more packaging before being placed onto the shelves. We just don’t see it.
@@leftcoastrevivals thanks Laura. I feel better about it. Also looked up Lincoln City. They have beautiful public gardens too. I need to go. Thank you.
I tried watching other Thrifting videos, but a lot of the women are so rough with the objects and you can tell they don’t really care about the object, all they care about is the money it’s going to make them. Yes, Laura it does resell, but you can tell she really cares about the object. And, she’s always very respectful even if she decides she doesn’t want it and put it back., it is with a gentle hand.❤❤❤
Wow...the scene at 9:16 made me stop and watched again. Walking up to the wood and small boxes...I want to paint it👵❣ Thank you Laura for keeping it real, calm, silly. Such great vibes. Much love
My goodness I just love Jesse's sense of humor. You are the absolute perfect foil for each other. Really, truly appreciate all the ideas that you have given me about styling my house with all my found treasures. I retired a few years ago and just didn't know what to do with some of my favorite things and thanks to you I am excited about bringing it all together (and maybe adding a few more pieces). You are an inspiration and I am so glad I found your channel. Looking forward to future adventures with you and when Jesse tags along as well.
I think a shop, lunch and beach day with Laura and Jesse should be in the near future and you can count me in😀. I loved the hanging light for $145.00, it would look great over our dining room table…..I’ve been looking for a long time and I think that one would have been a perfect fit. Wonderful finds and so much fun to go along with you two on your shopping adventure.
Omg! Laura and Jessie adventures! Love it!!! Yay! So excited ❤! You got some amazing finds! I totally would have flipped that coffee table 😊!!! I love your videos! The highlight of my day!❤🎉
Your styling at the end looked so sophisticated and straight out of an anthropology ad or something like that! Gorgeous! Love the Moroccan display case! And that fabric art piece of The waterfall! Beautiful!
Do you remember the watch display "museum" at the Streetcar Village? It was amazing. It was FULL of little automated "dioramas," I'd say at least 100 .... a few yrs ago the owner passed away and they were all auctioned off ... incredible prices.
I used to live in New Zealand and some of the wood art reminds me of the Maori art very cool then my father in law goes back and forth to Papa New Guinea and he had some great pieces very interesting art love these finds as always love seeing Jesse such a great hubby! 😊❤
I was just in Portland last weekend and so surprised how much better Oregon Goodwills are then California. OMG the things I brought home. Some now need glue but still soooo happy :)
Ok, enough with picking on the Penguins! My family always used ours as a cookie jar. I can't remember a time this wasn't on my mom's kitchen counter. When we cleared out my parents condo after moving mom into assisted living, my oldest brother claimed it. So I bought one from eBay for my own kitchen. I have great memories of trying to sneak treats without the lid clanging when putting it back! So give the penguin a break. I'm sure they just want to go home with yo and hold treats on you counter...maybe it would be a good place to store kitty treats!
Thank you Laura for having your husband, I think his name is Jesse, in your videos. He adds so much to the left coast revival brand plus he seems really cool!
I haven't been to Lincoln City for ages, and I love it. I always find something good at the "Red Duck" as we call it. Thanks for sharing! Jesse is so cute. I'm so glad you found not 1, but 2 pieces of tramp art. So cool!
This was a fun video because I was in Lincoln City a week ago. I am surprised you didn't show any pictures of the beautiful beach and ocean, did you even go enjoy it? You are lucky to live so close.
A great video. When my husband and I go thrifting we are always on the look out for the penguin ice bucket. When I spot one I think of the fun music you play when you spot one in your videos.
Hi Laura! My sweet daughter lives in Lincoln City, OR. Thanks for highlighting that area, I love thrifting & enjoy doing so when I go to visit (I’m in CA.) I love your videos & your enthusiasm! Plus, I learn a lot about what to look for! Thanks ! 😊💕Christina 🍋
Finally made it to Virnonia. The lady there remembered you and said she hopes you'll come back. I got a couple of nice pieces of jewelry at Penny Lane's. I told her I had no idea of her store, or even of Virnonia, until I saw it on your Utube channel.
Oh goodness that CHONK of onyx is gorgeous. I'd have done exactly what you did and displayed crystals in it. Or burned incense. Or stuck and air plant in it. Or used it as a base to display a huge seashell. I love onyx ashtrays.
Oh man!! The wood inlay vase, the crewel work waterfall piece, and the gorgeous chunk of onyx were my favorites today!! I’m just dying over here in “never anything cool” Indiana!! You really do have so much beauty, in your landscape, your homes, and your thrifting, in the PNW!! 😍
Such fun, and Jesse's so sweet. Love the Moroccan Display. Who would have thought you'd get for such a fantastic price. Had forgotten the Tramp Art look and never knew the name. Just wonderful, those who made something from nothing. Enjoyed your Tic Toc /stone with candle time value analysis. Cat
I love that tall lamp will look amasing as decor for your tiki parties too Loved the green big candlestands That could be cherrywood Laura That kitty is adorable!!! Hi Moose OMG Love the Maroccain case and the triangle Ethel vase Love the birdart. Jessy dont blush! Fingertwinkel back XXX

Ok.. the chemistry between Laura and Jesse and the way they both flirted with each other in this video… that’s love and it was beautiful. ❤
🥰
This is what makes you stand out from most other youtubers with thrift videos, you style the items, I really appreciate that
Most UA-cam thrifters are not talented at anything. They are self employed flippers. Laura is a true interior designer.

I find old furniture is way better made. Easily painted, restained or reupholstered
I moved to a smaller place. Now I have grandchildren and want more space.🤦
People knew how to make furniture built to last back then, unlike today’s generation. Well done for recycling/repurposing. Enjoy! 🇬🇧

I can’t get over how inexpensive the furniture is in these stores. You and Jesse have a great eye for valuable items.
I love how you pick up each piece as if they were delicate treasures.

I can't even get my husband to door of a store. How marvellous you have "Babe" to enjoy the hunt with!
You guys make such a great couple and I love the story of how you guys ended up together!!
So glad to see you! I found other sellers are quite snooty and un welcoming. Love watching you. Thank You.
It's like we're all family!
I really enjoy you and Jesse shopping. Great finds!! ❤
I love this video! I also love seeing you and Jessie together 🥹 Beautiful couple❤🎉

Laura, that was my first coffee table...definitely the 80s
You should do a short montage video all about the penguin ice bucket spottings! LOL
I love the interplay with your husband and his take on things
Laura: "What's going to be your thing???" Jesse: "Good bye." 🤣😂🤣😂 Great finds as always and I love how you style them sooooo much!

Little tip on viking glass - the bottoms always have that circular hollowed out base.
Thank you!
