"Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets his wings." It's good to have a bell at home. When my mom was sick, she would ring a bell to let me know she needed something. My mom passed on of brain cancer. When I hear a bell rings, I know she is thinking of me.
I love that @serene
You made me cry! What a sweet comment! Bless you!
Sorry for your loss I lost my mom 10 years ago n it still hurts.God be with you
So sorry for the loss of your dear mother. When I hear a certain song on the radio I think of my mother, whom I lost three years ago. They will remind us that they are always with us. 🥰
@janeschmidt9611 let's not get sad. They are always with us in our hearts and memories. Let's ring, those bells in happiness. We need more angels. hugs to all
My granddaughter’s middle name is Belle, so I often get her bells as gifts (thrifted, of course). She loves opening them-of course, she can hear the bell before she opens the gift. A fun thing we have between us. 😊 ~Cathy
put the candle holder with the wax in the freezer- the wax comes off very easy and no damage
Right after the frosted car, you moved a terracotta chicken over out of the way to get to a big vase. That chicken is what we gave my mom flowers in, in 1981. Flowers that we had delivered to her in Ohio way back then. Amazing to see that same one so many years later. My mom kept it in her kitchen until 2020.
That's one of my favorite things about watching....looking for things we had growing up
That Brown figure, the first thing you picked up at the second Goodwill, reminds me of Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo’s husband
Your right, it really does 😊
Love that brass unicorn
Everytime I see the bells it reminds me of when Andrew sang "You can ring my bell" Great finds today. Blessings to you.
That was a fig on the tile 😊
Came here to say this too 😊
I sprained my ankle rushing to the comments to see if anyone else knew it was a fig, NOT a pomegranate! 😁💛
Love the flower like candleabra you got for your porch. Find the mosquito repellent tea lights for those warm summer nights outside enjoying the evening with your parents.
That blue vitreous enamel vase is a handmade from IRAN which is called MINAKARI, it is a Persian art of color on metal surface esp on copper or silver
Oh that little blue patterned vase was sooo pretty 💙💙💙
It's an iranian art painting on copper.
I'm surprised you didn't pick up that wood thing with the painted fish. It was so different. Both the candle holder and the bowl with the fish on them were cool
Mary Poppins figure @15:02 was cute!
Not Poppins--- she would have a carpet bag. This one has flowers-- she's actually a flower seller-- and is dressed in a replica of Cecil Beaton's opening costume for Eliza Doolitle in My Fair Lady. Played by both Julie Andrews and Audrey Hepburn.
Yes it was
I love the tall candlestick and your idea to put it on your porch table! The flowers look deep enough to protect candles from blowing out, OR you could set one of those little battery-operated tea lights in each flower! Makes me want a porch! 😂🥰
the Vintage Schmid Design is a cookie mold I believe vintage from 1970s
I believe the roundish salt and pepper shakers are Pfaltzgraff. Perhaps the Cappuccino pattern?
Yea, I think so too. I've had a blue cobalt pair for sale a long time with no takers. I bought them for the same reason though, they look cool and they have a good shape- art deco! :)
The art pottery lady that you said had a flower frog behind her, I think is a toothbrush holder because of the way she is dressed and isn't that a towel around her shoulders? Also she looks like she is sitting in a bathroom. Just my thought! Love to watch your videos!!!!
Love when the shelves are chock full of goodies!
Greenville Mi is the best!! Great Antique Shop called Kaleidoscope of Times.
Love that place!
The plaque design is a fig not a pomegranate.
Love your videos
Got some great items. Loved the blue pattern vase and gold unicorn. You've been finding a lot of Rose Medallion lately. Lucky you
As I read your comment, I thought, "I don't remember a blue vase..." and BAM - She picked it up just then!
As kids we always had a bell by us to call Mom if we needed her.
As always great stuff,Jocelyn! I love the tulip candle stick you got for yourself.🌷
Love the pine needle basket .
Love your haul today..glad you saved the lil puppy and the seafoam picture..perfect for flowers 💐 absolutely love the red/ orange and black grouping..you scored very well
You found some gorgeous things. I thought you might find something more to go with that tray. I loved everything you found. That last place was great!
Thank you for a fun video … I love seeing new treasures …. Learning something new each video … you are an amazing teacher …
That vase @the end was beautiful ❤!! Thanks xox
I love that tall candle holder!!
I look forward to watching your videos daily! I have learned so much from you and Dagny! I was excited to go thrifting yesterday in Kalamazoo between some appointments. Boy, what a downer! The store was picked over and what was left was as high or higher than retail! GWI, Do Better! I wish our stores around here were like the ones you show us! Anywho, thanks for your knowledge!
Love the blue patterned vase. Very pretty.
The brass unicorn is amazing!
So glad you rescued the light gray pitcher!
The blue vase is amazing 🩵💙🤍
I really liked the unicorn and the pine needle basket. Cool stuff!
I go to the monocacy goodwill all the time...found some nice old Pennsylvania milk bottles a couple weeks ago...also my best find ever came from there..
I looked it up. Traditional Japanese tea sets have 2-3 little cups. I didn't know! Another fun video, thanks!❤
I love the sliver oval box with the roses.
Great finds as always
That was Fenton, I have one. Was my first “fooled you”, lol. Figured I could use for my Mom,or Mom in law. They made a few pretty ones!
My favorite antique shop is in Greenville Michigan. We live about 20 minutes from there. 😊
Playing Big Yellow Taxi as you touch the yellow NYC taxi ornament
Jocelyn, your tall candle-stick closely matches a candle chandelier I bought about forty-five years ago, that originally came from the Hillsboro Mansion in San Francisco. It had been salvaged from the 1906 fire and stored away til it was sold to me. Perhaps they were both designed by the same artist? I know what you mean about that unicorn. : )
Check the brass unicorn where the horn screws in. Years ago during the war brass objects were used to hide money. I believe that some are made that way today. Worth a check.
You’re spot on with the fake Fenton vase you showed at the first Goodwill - they’re all over the place and so many folks think they were made by Fenton - but were mass produced in China based on a Fenton design for Teleflora.
Ring those bells for the angels!!
You found some lovely pieces
The St Bernard is a Hagen Renaker. Even with damage they still go for good money. There are collectors who repair them. Glad you picked it up!
Wow great finds today!!!😊
I was at Monocacy Thursday morning. Found a Pioneer Woman teapot. It was at 6:17.
I literally just saw the same jar for “ashes for problem students” at my GW today.
The little blue enamel vase is Minakari from Iran
The fish with the candle looked to be painted by an aboriginal from Australia! Really cool!
Yippee! 🎉 It seems like you’ve stopped looking at handbags in Goodwill stores. Have you given up on them?
What great finds. I love the vases the colors are beautiful. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Definitely an Orange heme going on today, Love it!!
Loved the little blue vase at the end. 😊
I would have picked up all those Hallmark Classic pedal cars. They are not made anymore and are some are worth a tiddy price. Of course, it depends how much Goodwill wass asking.
Mary Poppins - lady with umbrella and basket of flowers very cool, I probably would have it it up, for myself. 🥰☂️
I love the brass unicorn and I just man need to get it!
The 2nd pomegranate is a fig. Just in case you wanted to know!
at :48sec in that is called Floral Butter mold by Schmid folio design around 1976 sell around 15.00 very slow seller
17:42 I would love to have those plates with the horse heads on them
My shopping trips to Goodwill in the past used to be around $20 for the most part for 5-7 items. But, now I'm finding that they are around $30 for 5-7 things. This has happened enough times that I am seeing a pattern. I think the increase in prices overall in the stores is the reason. I feel like I need to pay attention more to my purchases, because my money coming in hasn't gone up by 50% like my spending has lately.
Since I could be your parent, I say YES to parents coming over and it's a party ❤😂
I just bought the twin of that unicorn in Waynesboro.
I am not a brass person .. but that brass unicorn 🦄 is a fantastic find.
The unicorn is on Etsy as a rare find and is selling for $144.09 (Australian dollars) but the horn is fixed to it and it has a wooden base.
I've never been in a Goodwill... they are 4-6 hours away.... the nearest thrift store is 1 hour away and it doesn't have anything like your haunts do..... but still fun to go hunting
At 15:30 that's Pfaltzgraff salt and pepper shakers pattern name cappuccino.
That pitcher you thought might be Polish - it had an impressed mark on the side near the base.
Lol no kidding with the bell comment! hahaha always so many bells at Goodwill!!
That’s a trash can from Target. I have one and I love it!
The doll was Eliza Doolittle
In SW PA, our Goodwill color of the week is only on clothes.
Glassy Babies are known to crack when you put a real candle in them! Had one explode! Called the company & they gave me some blah-blah that they're only designed for special candles & I should've known not to put a tea light in one!! Very unsafe!
The round s&p are phaltzgraff- I have those…
Grab those Hallmark Kiddie car Classics ..they go for Alot!!! $100 or more
the schmid design thing is a butter mold. Resale $20 ish
Hi from Michigan
The doll with the flower basket and umbrella looked like Eliza Do little (Julie Andrews) from My Fair Lady.🤗
On stage it was Julie Andrews but in the film version it was Audrey Hepburn.
It's Pippi Longstocking!! ❤
WHY when there is empty of space on all those beautiful painted items, do they put the price tag RIGHT OVER THE PAINT??? 😡
It’s like they are sadistic.
Yes! They seem to find the worst spot to put those labels!
You can place stuff in your freezer for a few minutes and wax will pop off!
Hi from Evansville, IN- Home to the Hoosiers!
I wonder if something a person has made and you buy how cool it would be if they saw that. What an honor that would be! 👏👍
Loving those yellow shoes girl love yellow lol
Hey, tell us about the silver pitcher in the cart! It looked pretty. Did I miss Jocelyn picking that up?
that very cool pottery old lady looks like a toothbrush or possibly a 3 penholder not a floral frog..I may be wrong
Hello from Utah
Hi Jocelyn. I have a question. (If you see this) Do you know why there doesn't seem to be as much true yellow glass? Not amber but yellow. I've been watching your videos for years and I hardly see actual yellow glass. When I (rarely anymore) go out to places, I don't see much of it either. I just find it curious and wondered if you have any insight. Great video as usual. TFS 🙂
Jocelyn… I think the round s&p shakers are Pfaltzgraff.. I cracked up when you grabbed them😂 You always gravitate to the Pfaltzgraff thinking it’s something else🥰
Some interesting things today .
I noticed that you have a beautiful new car. Please tell me what kind. It's so classy inside.
I love the candelabra
I found a glass car like that one. It was whole. I left mine too. Not a high seller.
Love the easel and the blue/white vase. Where will you sell that?
JOCELYN AND FAMILY HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL
