      They are the first to say ignorance of a law isn't an excuse for breaking it.       I was sentenced to 8 years for intent to distribute marijuana. Justice was not served but thank God he had a strong black woman for a judge. Because if not, he would have walked away with no punishment at all

      @@joemeatballs3694 in Germany we have a lot of racial profiling and police brutality accepted as normal behavior among them. There is no one to harm them. They have an INSIDE division “looking into reported cases“. They don’t. Sometimes only, if it is largely covered by media, they remove a few cops and go on like it’s nothing. We recently “lost“ all of the evidence in a case of massive child abuse and pics/films as evidence. Guess what? Someone walked in and stole it. Silently, no fights, no broken windows or doors. Must have been some cop with a guilty conscience.
      And when a cop has a case in front of a court, there are dozens of colleagues helping him out, because their voice is given more credit than the voice of women or men they assaulted.

    I’ve seen Judge Evans several times. She seems always just and doesn’t hold back from truth.       Ken Mendoza i dont think they necessarily meant only black judges make the right calls. however, there is a lack of colored judges in the US. the CJS mainly contains white judges and attorneys, considering how hard it is to get these positions simply bc of a person’s skin color and another’s perception. (this isnt meant to start an argument or anything i was just trying to show you the way POC may view it)

      I agree ! 13 Months is way too short a sentence for the scale of assault that Officer Melendez inflicted on a black man, who had done nothing wrong, at a routine traffic stop !! In my opinion, he should have been sentenced to 13 Years Minimum !
      I am from Great Britain by the way, where police officers would never do that to anybody, may be a minor thing like a traffic stop or a big thing like a bank robber who stabbed somebody with a knife !
