I have looked at your you tube posts and am looking to by a TV 75 to 85 inches, I don't game I just want a big screen that has great color and picture for TV and movie viewing. I have owned multiple Samsung's and an LG nano 50 inch but would like a recommendation on a large screen TV.
Thanks for this video. I just upgraded to the 85” QN90B from a 82” Crystal UHD 9 Series. I was a bit hesitant to replace a TV that worked just fine, but for the current price ($2,699), I figured now was the time. Anyway, setup was fairly easy, with the exception of the stand - you were absolutely right. After about 40 minutes of a friend and I trying to get the stand to connect to the TV, we decided to connect the one part to the TV as you suggested and that did the trick. So far, I am loving the TV - so much brighter than my Crystal UHD and I like how it reflects the light. I also love getting Dolby Atmos without having to plug my Apple TV directly into the sound bar (also a Samsung). Top Gun Maverick sounds amazing with the Q-Symphony. Thank you again for the video.

Great video, especially loved the in depth comparison section. I have to say that Samsung had done a solid upgrade, across the board, to their QN90 panel this year. LCD displays have come a long, long way. Heck, display tech in general has. I'm 45 and we grew up with NTSC 480i broadcast, so anything can beat that, lol.

Very very nice to see comparable products side by side with the same content. Really should do one with the exposure calibrated to the A90J. I walk by OLEDs in Costco and they look great and not even close to this dark.
Definitely impressed by the SAMSUNG QN90B. It shines a light on those darker scenes and gaming looks sensational!

That' Samsung s a beast of a TV B and having the lovely jen in the video definitely helps the cause.
I have no experience with other TVs but got the A90J 65" a while back and absolutely love it. Top-notch experience for gaming and 4K. I recently got a 4K monitor for PC gaming but was surprised to find myself still preferring the PS5 paired with an A90J
Well duh almost all monitor suck in color and brightness. And the a90j is the best of the best OLED its really pretty obvious that a90j will be better than any 4k monitor
Same here, I have a $4000 gaming PC, recently got a PS5 and OLED and the PC doesn't come close to the immersion factor you get from a 65 inch TV. The only thing I dislike is using the controller instead of a Keyboard.
@@rickhunter1317 Agreed! The seamless experience is such a great aspect. I used to be the opposite with PC/PS4 but ever since the PS5 released I was surprised that I preferred it. Optimization is great too. Thankfully I’m not good with a keyboard so the controller part comes natural for me 😂
yeah unless you're playing a first person shooter, OLED contrast + motion clarity > more graphical detail + higher framerate. In a few years we'll have OLED PC monitors though 🤤

Got my qn90b 85 inch today, upgraded from ua65js still going strong. Qn90b big jump ahead. Haven't altered settings yet but I am impressed with picture quality. Your video help with unpacking and installation. Cheers 🍻
Unfortunately after a few days use I am not happy with this tv and will return it. Picture quality is not good unable to watch free to air tv, older blurays are no good. And can't watch sport as movement of ball is blurry and watching tv people's mouth movements are fuzzy
Just letting you guys know after new hdmi leads and antenna booster the tv is excellent I rather self diagnose program and found that antenna signal was at 78 needs to be 90 + and the hdmi cables were unable to produce the resolution so I was probably upscaling poor resolution

Just purchased this same unit at my local Best Buy, was OTD for $2430 before taxes after getting another 10% off as I open a BB card to get the 24-month ZERO % financing. I was going to pay cash but couldn't pass up that deal. I sold my 2-year-old Samsung QN75Q for $650 to a friend. Was surprised to see how much bigger the 85" vs the 75" is, I wasn't expecting that much of a difference. The picture is stunning. Your video helped with my decision. Thanks

@@nejihiashi I remember a Vincent Teoh video where he explained that the greater the number of dimming zones the more processing power is needed. Maybe this is why the q90B is better with less dimming zones. But 5000 zones with enough power would be something.
The exposure of the camera does not do the a90j justice. (Dune does not look that dark in person-plenty of brightness). Yes, LCDs are brighter, but you may not need all the blinding brightness. The a90j is a phenomenal TV. Just don’t buy it for a bright room for daytime viewing. The a90j is a great movie TV.

Excellent and helpful video. I recently pre-ordered the Samsung 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022). Your instructions on how to put the television stand together is helpful, although I never have a problem with that. I am so glad Samsung is back to making televisions with the stand in the middle. I hated those tiny stands at each end of a flat screen television because have to have a special long table to stand them on. I live in a small apartment and a 55 inch is big enough but having a 65 inch would be even nicer. I worry about only me putting my 55 inch Samsung together when it arrives because I don't want to ask a neighbor for help. I don't want them to know my business or see my new Samsung 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022).😀 😃 😄 😁 😆 😅 😂 🤣 I hate that Samsung hasn't released their 65 & 55" Class S95B OLED 4K Smart TV (2022) to Best Buy inorder that consumers can see this television up front. Samsung is basically making consumers order the S95B OLED 4K TV directly from them. However, I am excited about getting my new OLED delivered by April 21, 2022.
Morning from England,thank you for your videos I ended up buying a Samsung 85 inch q60n it has a great pucture i am pleased with it,thank you to you & your lovely eife Jen the only down side for not getting the t.v. that you both recommend to me was the feet was not heigh ajustable so the expensive lg sound bar had to go on the floor but it still has great sound for me any wathank you Andy Timson from England
It held up very well compared to the a90j. I was already impressed with the Q90A but damn the QN90B is even more OLED like. The color and brightness look insane!
I agree with you, although while the Sony is darker the colors look more natural. What do you think?

I think this also highlights that Samsung is doing just fine without DV.
Exposure is a pain with two tv’s like this . If you’d expose to the sony, the samsung would bloom like hell from the camera exposure
Yeah, I'm a owner of 2 oleds, but I'd pick the qn90b this year.

The QN90B is proof that LCD tech isn't dead, although there comes a point where the engineering effort required to match OLED black levels while still holding on to all the advantages of LCD (brightness, not being susceptible to burn in, longer lifespan) is going to cost significantly more than just going OLED.

The 83” C1 costs only $200 less on sale right now vs this tv though. This tv will no doubt go on sale at some point, so price will be very comparable, especially when comparing against the 2022 LG C2.

and the brightness compared to my plasma - watching plasma never again with VA panel tho

Was able to pick the q90b 85" for only $1,700 (pre-tax). Waiting for it to arrive but this video makes me even more excited for the deal I was able to snag! Very helpful for showing how to set it up on the stand.

Great vid my friend. I was leaning heavily toward an LG OLED this year, but between this baby’s performance upgrades & QD-OLEDs being way cheaper than expected, my decision has gotten a lot harder 🤔
This tv isn't a QD-OLED, it's just a QLED - as somebody owns both a large late-2021 C1 OLED tv and a large Samsung QLED monitor with FALD go for even just a normal OLED for a TV all day every day. QD-OLED is a combination of both technologies which again this TV isn't - and does seem at the moment to be the holy grail. At the moment.

it is definitely unleashed in more challenging scenes but I'm not certain the blooming is as good as the QN90A. I will be looking at final footage this evening for my review Sat.

I ordered the 55 inch QN90b. I should have it Wednesday. I figured for a bedroom tv with the lights on and with the amount of cable tv I watch this would be better for me. Should be a good upgrade coming from a Samsung KS8000.

@@trumpameri1638 it's lacking Dolby vision which seems to be becoming the hdr standard. IMO wait for 2024 and mature qd oled blue phosphors if you're into longevity.

I just bought QN90A 50% OFF from it's original price and I paired it with Q800A soundbar. It has perfect symphony esp. on ATMOS content.
In that scene where the third baseman threw the ball to 1st base, did you notice dse? I had dse on every single qn90a and qn900a panel I tested in those kinds of scenes.
Samsung 75inch qn95b arrived Sunday ,,be great to see the improvement over my 75inch q90r Samsung which has been pretty good .

Good video. Could you see in person the scenes with the big white lights on the Samsung blowing out the detail. For instance the headlights on the car you couldn't even see on the Samsung because it was just one big white light but on the a90j you could see the headlights.

Thank you for your video. We followed along unboxing ours and it was very helpful. We had trouble with the base though. We had to tip the tv back a bit to screw the base in. The base was sitting too low for the screw holes on the tv. Just a bit. I think screwing in the top (lighter) half of the base to the tv first would have been better. Then screw the bottom (heavier) part. Also, facing the tv after assembly, we noticed that the left side was pulling down a bit compared to the right side. From what I can read online it looks like some Q90B are like that. Did you notice it on yours?

Great review. How many dimming zones does the QN90B have vs the QN95B? Is that a worthwile spec to look at? Was there much blooming on the QN90B? I had heard they are down on dimming zones vs the QN90A. Also, need your secrets on how you talked Jenny into you lol. Men everywhere do haha!
Samsung are all medium and low and luxurious with high brightness and great picture quality with sharp details.
Still holding on to my LG C1, 65' that looks amazing.

I would say if you didn't do that but you did 100% correct this by far best install instructions of a mini led tv. Eveyone install this tv wrong on there install videos makes me gringe lol I see so many tvs with the screws seen in the panel tv screen from the weight of install on being laid on its screen for install good job 👏 @B the installer Baller

Good video. I like your honesty. How is the sound quality? I know this year this tv should have Dolby Atmos from the internal speaker, last year QN90A sound was not good at all but the previous year Q90T had good sound.
I just purchased an 85 inch QN90A yesterday for $3K. I guess I’ll see how it looks and if I don’t like it I will return it and wait until the new Samsung 22’s go on sale.
