A man with specific goal! Love it! I have so many more plans for my 02 S10 Xtreme but considering I just purchased my dream car, a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, the s10 will have to wail a bit.
I have watched all of your videos up till you stopped making them sir and I have just finished my own project based off of yours. I thank you for taking the time to go into details that other guys do not. You have made my life alot easier, so again thank you. I wish you would make content again but I understand why you don't. Have a blessed day and thank you so much again.
Looks like the better looking, has his shit together older brother of my 93 s10 extended bed.also 5 speed 2.8 Even with my dream set up. Ls1 t56 just to take fishing.Beautiful truck boss.
Sure thing. It's just a stock ZJ Grand Cherokee (93-98) gear box, and a steering shaft from a 95-05 Astro Van. One end of the Astro shaft needs to be modified and clocked 90 degrees to have proper steering wheel orientation, but otherwise bolts right on. There's info out there about how to modify the shaft. It seems pretty common in the Camaro world
Have a '94 4 door Blazer that looks somewhat similar and sitting on Belltech Sporttruck suspension currently and has the original HO CPI Vortec 4.3LV6 installed but fairly built as well as the 4L60E trans. I had planned for several years to boost it via Supercharging or single large Turbo which I own already as well as several V8's as options like a TPI 350 outta a Camaro and a 5.3L truck LS
My olds man is a red 1992 Chevy 2.8 v6 5 speed with 200,000 . Factory to the bone. Family from dealer brought..mine is a girl. Ac is not good works but it may have leaked some ac gas. Only big problem is I think the water pump is leaking slowly. Not driving her as much. Miss driving her. Manuel life . Save the sticks.
Sweet s10 man, I have a donor 2002 ss camaro with the t/56 trans and I’m wanting to do the same thing. Would you be willing to share a link(s) to your suspension upgrades? That stance looks perfect and I’d like to do the same. Thanks for the vids!
Thanks! I did the suspension a few yrs ago so I don't have links handy. 3" drop leaf springs and 2" drop spindles and shocks are all Belltech. 1" drop coils are DJM
Rough around the edges?! Let me show you the inner rockers from my '89 S-10. lol Clean truck. Great goals. I'm building mine to be a fun driver as well. Not sure I'd want to run cross country in a standard cab 1st gen. lol
Lol I drove 16hrs round trip to pick it up when I bought it a few years ago. I wanted the cleanest first gen I could find without spending too much. And yeah, it's pretty nice compared to a lot of others, but it's still far from perfect. And yeah, the road trip is gonna suck, but it's gonna be awesome too! It'll make the story that much better
@@CheekyGarage I picked up a '67 VW Bug in the farthest part of southwest KY. 13hrs there, 13 hrs back. Totally not as advertised. lol. My current cab looked clean, but the paint was holding the rockers together. This is the 3rd cab I've had with this project, and I'm not doing a 4th. lol
Nice!!

Just kinda curious did you get it finished yet? I'm new to your page. Just bought a 84 myself. Looking for inspiration.
Love the trip ideas!!!
I have a 89 S10 Durango 4.3 v6. 64,000 original miles. Longbed. Thanks for the video
Durango? Wtf...
my 93 2.8 5 spd has this same plastic fender kit, but its like i cant find out where it comes from..was it a factory option or what?
Are you sure that's a 1993 front grill?
“Little rough around the edges “ man you should see my ‘84 4x4 😂
Looks like the better looking, has his shit together older brother of my 93 s10 extended bed.also 5 speed 2.8
Even with my dream set up. Ls1 t56 just to take fishing.Beautiful truck boss.
"Rough around the edges" Proceeds to show the best looking s10 I've ever seen on youtube
Wish the videos were placed in order they were done
I still have my ‘93 that I bought new. It’s a Florida truck, but it needs the same TLC. Thanks for making the videos!
I always liked your videos. Do you plan to do any more?
Beautiful truck man! It's everything my 88 hopes to be some day.
Same man same
S10s look so good
Yeah they do! Especially yours!
Hahaha screwed through your west coast drive. 2022 hit me up if you still do that drive in the spring of 2021. I'm in sonoma
The ride through the Black hills is a beautiful drive
Love the truck man clean as ever 💯🙏🏾
Thanks!
What made you go with a Jeep steering box?
I like the idea of the build! Useable and the cross country touring goal is great! Cell quality is not bad.
Where did you find the black fender flares?
They were already on the truck. I've always assumed they were a stock option
What is the offsets for the rear and did you redrill the rotors and axles for the 8.8?
Can you go into some detail on the steering gear swap? This seems like an interesting swap that I might be interested in doing on my truck!

beautiful
Thank you! 🙏
This man knows how to build a truck!
What’s the backspacing on the wheels?
Get them for a 2 wheel drive Chevy like a old Caviler for example and you'll be 100% good to go bud!
how does this handle with all the suspension upgrades vs before you did them ? marginally better or significantly better you think
YEAH DUDE!!!!!
Yeah man! Going for it!
Don't forget stand still traffice on I-405 in Los Angeles on your check list
