I am small and 1,58m in height and look absolutely hilarious in oversized tops/shirts/blazers etc....😂 Jenny of course, looks awesome in these pieces!
Same 😂
I also think that the oversized look goes well if you have a skinny looking face. I have bigger cheeks so the oversized look makes me look like a blob 😂 i can only get away with one item being oversized
Samee, oversized jackets makes me look like a walking jacket 🤷♀️
I am even smaller, only 1.52, and have the same problem. I look like I am wearing my parents' clothes;-))
I'm 1.56 (5'1") and i love how oversized clothes look. Effortless, comfortable, fun.
I still love this series and I love your channel! :) You're timeless.
ah thank you lovely victoria!! 💖
i love how you don't have to put anyone else down to shine yourself. seriously, i find it beautiful
I agree!❤
"No guts no glory", I think I will borrow this for my style motto 🙌😄
do you know what would be amazing - a food video!!! I love the look of all your meals and would love to know how to make them xx
She has some old recipe videos. Just look at her older vids. (Unless she deleted those? )
I've always been more into fitted tops and bigger pants. I agree, you can never go wrong with tartan/plaid looking clothes. I've always love the hourglass look, but then again I used to always wear so many vintage 50s and 60s dresses with that shape. I think that is my favorite from this list.
P.S. Jenny Mustard giving people permission to "steal" coats from dads haha.
I have similar thoughts. As a curvier girl I cannot do boxy without transforming into a lumpy potato. I feel like some recent trends lean a bit too hard into masculine for women’s clothing.
Been a fan of huge scarfs for years, it can become a hood or a cloak in an instant, and if you find yourself needing to sit outside, it's big enough to warm your legs. Last winter while interrailing it made sleeping much comfier. The best ones are the ones you can't be sure wether they're intended as a scarf or a blanket.
True, I use mine as blanket on the plane as well:-)
I absolutely adore tartan and have a heap of it, skirts, scarves and more!
Unfortunately being very short I just can’t get away with menswear or anything oversized, I look like a child playing dressup 😅
Lucky for me I have an hourglass shape so I will be loving wearing outfits that flatter that :)
Big black coats have always been my favourite!
I got my huge long winter coat in navy… thrifted for only 15 Swiss Francs!! ❤
Your fashion and your channel is timeless Jenny. 😊 You changed my style and my shopping expense. 😊
I am 3 months pp and trying to find my style again - even though I would never wear most of these styles I find your fashion videos so encouraging and fun 😊
Would love a follow up video where you style these trends from your closet!
Saved watching this as a reward after a long day❤ love your advice Jenny! Question! Any tips for styling oversized for someone under 5’4 (63 cm?) without looking clumsy or frumpy?? Help 😅
I really appreciate all the interesting cutaway shots! Especially those that show of the clothing mentioned, but in a waaay cooler way than just a repetitive mirror shot!
The V&A in Dundee have an exhibition on tartan. Well worth a visit for anyone in the area or even just passing through.
Tartan and hourglass are the two on your list that get a tick from me. I can understand why hourglass isn't high on your list but as a curvy woman I love it. If I tried to adopt your oversize/boxy trends I would look awful. I can't even wear a turtleneck without looking like a character from Alice in Wonderland. But hourglass really flatters my figure so gets a big thumbs up from me
Thank you for this video! I would love more of them every season 🤍
I’m so happy Autumn is finally here!🍂
Tartan is my favorite ever! I love to wear a dark blue tartan shirt with a red tartan skirt, my favorite combo💙♥️
I have so many tartan pieces in my wardrobe, I’m happy to see them back in trend 🤭
so in love with oversized clothes❤ thank you for the video, Jenny!
Yea totally agree about summer being boring. Everytime I would put on an outfit I would think, this would be so much better if added this layer to it and this and that. The heat and humidity really limits your options, so I am always happy about the start of the cooler seasons. I wore a simple blazer the other day and immediately felt like myself again.
I also added an oversized tartan blazer to my wardrobe recently. Honestly haven’t worn anything tartan or plaid since my emo high school days 😂 but the muted piece I saw felt like a more mature version that fits my lifestyle today.
I love my blue shirt with white stripes. Also I have a beautiful checkered cape, which I never worn once. I think its time. ❤
Thanks Jenny Mustard!
No guts - no glory 🎉
i love your style so much!! definitely stealing some ideas
Hourglass!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Jenny! I love coming back to your style videos whenever I'm on a bit of a clothing funk! Puss puss from New Zealand 😘
Thanks Jenny! Can you do more vid like this? Tired of spending money without shopping my closet
so funny - I'm 67 and my oversized, comfy maxi wool black coat has never left my closet. Complete with shoulder pads.
yes, supersized
I love all the outfits and shoes, but especially the shoes were far too summery / not warm enough to wear here in Finland at the moment. This week will be really cold: +1 to +2 celsius degrees (next week will be a little bit warmer). I live in Southern Finland and the weather is even colder in the north, also in other Nordic countries. London weather is a little bit warmer, but the wind can be really strong and the weather can feel colder than it really is (because the British Isles are surrounded by the sea). So winters can be quite cold also in the UK and Ireland.
Love it
Loved those caramel boots on you! Trend-wise, finding the right tartan for you is a game changer. There's so many to chose from 💙
Hi, love your coat at 1:19, could you tell me what brand it is please? Thanks!
where do you get your trousers from? Or more specifically, your denim jeans? They look so nice!
I hope you do the same for furniture / decor
With regards to decor... do you have any ideas for a minimal floor chair/cushion and floor table please?
I'm trying to learn more about Scandi - Japanese I.e. japandi
Haha I agree summer is so boring when it comes to outfits! So glad that I can layer my clothes again🍁🤗
New subscriber 😊 great video
❤
Jenny we need bag recomm
Would you say all the Vivaias you have are the same size?
Would these work on a short 65 yo woman? Or would it swamp me?
I'd love to be able to pull off oversized coats, but I'm petite and I look like I'm drowning in them or like a kid playing dress-up 🥹 I feel like these big black coats only work for tall people... *sigh*
I been living in Sweden for 7 years now and finding girls from Stockholm - it’s just vibe I feel :)
Puss-puss och vi ses :)
I rest my case, autumn fashion >>>>
It's totally not my style but i like the concept because trendy fast fashion is garbage
