Train derailment at Wallan happened after track direction switch | ABC News

Investigators have begun sifting through the wreckage of a Sydney-to-Melbourne train that derailed last night, killing two people and injuring 12 others. The direction of rail tracks at the site of the fatal train derailment were changed earlier that day for the first time in weeks, the ABC has been told.
