I've had a couple dreams where my high school was more of a maze than a school, but the layout was exactly the same every time I had that sort of dream.
@@creeperizak8971 That's how my dreams often were, some weird maze combination of elementary, middle and high school. But every time I had a dream like that it came up with new stuff. @@creeperizak8971 I had a version like that two years ago, it was a bigger dream than usual. I got in serious trouble on the first day for not receiving a schedule, leaving me unable to find my new classes, and the assistant teacher told me it would "damage the ways of school" to give me one. After I woke up I wrote down as much as I remembered because of how ridiculous the plot was. This is literally what I wrote: Damage the ways of school dream Sun, Aug 23, 2020: I return to going to school in my same high school, and it is the first day. Except I never got a schedule, despite everyone else having the paper that is their schedule. While standing outside the school in what I think is the courtyard, two girls in my grade approach me and tell me I am in their first period and tell me the room number. Don’t ask me how they know. I mean to follow them, but accidently get distracted and lose sight of them when entering the school. Then I try to remember the room number, which I have accidently forgotten. I come up with 938 or something and ask a girl I know from 9th grade about it. She shows me a room at the end of the hall we are in, which is for a doodling class (yes, doodling is the phrase used here). But when I enter, I don’t find those two girls who told me where to go with the other students. I find my assistant principal from when I was in middle school as the teacher for the class (in reality I didn’t like her because she separated the boys and girls in lunch when I was in 8th grade for the rest of the year - just as I was beginning to make friends with some boys due to our similar interests in Mario Kart and the 3DS. So I lost them as my only friends, and no wonder she showed up in this dream). I go to her and tell her I am lost and that I need my schedule. She gives me this look and goes "Aww...that’s too bad." And "I can’t or it’ll damage the ways of school." A student in the class joins her side. I give up and go to the door, but before going through I talk back to the teacher, saying something like "Since I’ll be damaging the ways of school, I’ll leave. I’m glad to not be a part of your class." I leave and after walking up and down the hall, I still don’t know where to go and 2nd period ends. As people walk through the hall to 3rd, I’m relieved to find my photography teacher outside the door to her class in the same hall. I go to her, loudly saying her name several times. At first she is talking to someone else and tells me to wait. I get her attention when I ask for help, that I haven’t known where to go all day and now it’s 3rd period, that I really need my schedule. She looks like she’s thinking of something. Then it cuts to a different scene as if it was a movie. In it the classroom next door to the doodling class is full of fake snow and Christmas decorations. The doodling teacher/middle school assistant principal curiously walks in to see what is going on, but when she does is attacked by someone wearing a reindeer costume, who is supposed to be my photography teacher. She has a reindeer mask on so no one can tell. My thoughts say "I tried to convince her out of it." And "It’s risky, for a well-known teacher." Or something. As I watch them fight they kick the snow around and kick at each other, ending up falling into the snow. The end

You don't seem too concerned about the game's lore. Well, the trauma you are dealing with the shadow figure isn't the kid's, but the neighbour's. Before I start, remember, the protagonist is named Nicky Roth, while the neighbour is named Mr. Peterson. See, what happened was old Peterson's trauma comes from the death of his family. His wife and two children suffered tons, and one of them-- his son-- was locked in the basement that Roth ends up in. This was merely to protect him. Also, the final boss fight with Mr. Peterson happens to be based on Baba Yaga (something that game theorists have figured out because, in Russian folklore, Baba Yaga is a witch who lives in a mobile home-- the kind that has a chicken's wings and feet for transport). There is some credence to this theory-- what with the disturbing coincidence that Dynamic Pixels, the studio behind the game, as well as the studio's CEO Alex Nichiporchik, happen to be based in Latvia, which used to be part of Russia. Lots of connections and facts right now, so take your pick.

You should name this series done in a bit
