While I love the "Hur hur hu hur" meme being cannon to some degree, I wonder why only Roxy's voice sounds like her Shattered self and all glitchy while Freddy's is normal.
I'm assuming cause his head is with Gregory or at least presumably.
Maybe because Roxy was shattered when Cassie met her in Ruin? Like when Gregory met Freddy he was normal, but when Cassie met Roxy she was shattered, so it would make more sense to the audience? Idk.
My geuss is that maybe she would start singing it when we deactivate her, to add even more salt into the wound

@@lindseydelehanty3142 It's probably because the devs knew that we weren't supposed to hear the full thing, so they just recorded the voicelines with the filter on. I'm certain it doesn't have any story relevance though.
Either that or the reason Freddy is normal is because he's not connected to the AR system at all, while Roxy still is, so it would update the dialogue to her current voice.
Honestly, knowing voice actors, the “hur hur hur hur” at the beginning of Freddy’s song might not even be an Easter egg. It might just be the way Kellen Goff gets into character for the glamfred voice lol
Kellen confirmed he was referencing the meme in an Instagram video
that unused candy cadet line actually matches up pretty well with an earlier version of the basement map, instead of there being A monster in the woods, and the mimic in the basement, theres wild animals in the woods, and the early map has no mimic area, but rather the fnaf 1 animatronics, who are indeed based on animals that could be wild, even if the fnaf 1 animatronics were probably gonna be replaced by the rockstar animatronics

Honestly, I thought it was referencing FNaF 4 since the menu screen because we can see the nightmare animatronic in the woods scoping out a house in the woods.
@@TheGamerRist We are at/near the FNaF 6 building, the rockstars were one of the buyable animatronics in that game, so it'd make sense for them to be there.
@@TheGamerRistRUIN takes place underneath where FNAF 6 (Pizzeria Simulator) takes place. That pizzeria is what The Pizzaplex was built on top of. FNaF 6 introduced the Rockstar forms, so it's speculated that those would have been the forms of the Classic Animatronics we would have seen if the area was used. Also, for timeline reasons, it wouldn't make sense for the Classic forms to be present, as far as I understand

I think the unused bowling minigame was originally meant to be how you unlocked the Glamrock Bonnie area before it became deactivating the wet floor sign bots

It would make sense and line up with how Chica’s Feeding Frenzy awarded you her beak, but then it would be odd that you can’t do the same with Monty’s golf.
But I really do like the wet floor sign easter egg hunt, and the idea of Bonnie somehow living on through them until you shut them down is really interesting from a narrative perspective. How did he get this connection with them? How long has he been here, watching through the eyes of these little robots, slowly dying, unable to communicate with his friends? Did he have to watch his friends lose themselves to the virus or was that already happening before he got scrapped? How did he feel watching his friends get shattered and be unable to do anything to help them?
Can he even see? Is he even aware?
It’s just such a fascinating idea to me.
@@mothermia Ooh, do you think Help Wanted 2 will give us Glamrock parts & service minigames to expand upon the P&S stuff in SB? That would be awesome. I’ve always loved the P&S levels in HW, they’re not hard or scary (in my opinion) but honestly I like that, it’s a nice palette cleanser or a warmup before tackling other levels.
If you pay attention to the icon for Helpi, you can tell which one is real and which one is actually Mimic. The false one has yellow eyes and veins showing near his left eye. Perhaps the reason that Helpi is said as “Helpi” in some text files and “Helpy” in others is to tell them apart

The "false Helpy" is just Glitched Helpy, not Grimic. We don't know what Glitched Helpy is exactly but Grimic wasn't in control of the mask at all or else it would simply mind-control Cassie directly.

This is pure speculation, but I think this conclusion is pretty reasonable. Maybe fixing "the glitch" referred to in the files for the 3rd unused minigame is related to the scrapped survival mode. Since, in the unused map, "fixing the glitch" shows you the victory screen for survival mode. Perhaps "fixing the glitch" would've been the main objective of survival mode.

9:23 was actually meant to be used for the title drop/sequence for the game. a shell in a pit tweeted this out once and said steel wool wanted something more atmospheric and creepy. If you play the title drop sequence (the bit when Monty gets cassie into the sewers out into monty golf.) and then play Are you there? it matches PERFECTLY it''s really cool and wish they used it instead
Hey Tetra, the “gates ripped open by tangle” is actually referring to the 2 gates before the elevator that goes down to the old pizzeria/Afton battle in the main game, the gates that you need Monty’s claws and chicas voice box to open

There is a gate that looks like something has crawled underneath them, it's the gates that lead to the secret code room and the FNAF AR vent repair room
"Are You There?" and "I Remember" are actually beautifully done. I love the tune and feeling they give you when you hear them. FNAF: SB's game music in general is so fun and cool and gives you such mixed feelings.
Yes! I think these two songs are probably a few of my favorites from an and the dlc. I adore the atmosphere of them as well and kind of the despressing yet oddly hopeful feel to them
The unused Gregory line from the elevator really sounds like what he would have said before the intercom chimes again halfway through he’s talking during the ending. It makes it feel more plausible that that may not have been Gregory speaking at the end. If that is the case it makes sense why one ending would be scrapped, that way it’s more ambiguous who’s talking at the end instead of the more obvious hint that it’s not actually Gregory.

Gate ripped over by tangle is seen in the dev note map for the sinkhole entrace (the elevator room that normaly is only acessible with monty's claws and chica's box room)

and in the DLC the same gate is quite destroyed
I love the birthday songs it's cute. I also love the little retcon with Roxy's personality kind of painting a picture that the glitch was causing Roxy to be so disrespectful and egotistical when she's actually just a nice "person"

If they actually used that music during the scene when Cassie deactivates Roxy, I feel like it would have added more sadness to it. That scene was the most emotional scene in the whole franchise in my opinion. Great video by the way!

Perhaps most 'sentimental' would be a better descriptor. While FNAF 6 ending is quite a rush for anyone who's followed the franchise, I wouldn't say it had the same sort of intimate vulnerability that the Roxy scene has.
Way too dramatic, I love the track so much as well but I think even Steel Wool knew that level of drama would've been cringy/cheesy

i was honestly pretty against the prevalent theory that the dlc takes place on cassies birthday because while the glitching and dying animatronics mention her birthday she never reacts to it or complains having to chase her possibly AI replaced friend through a run down breaking establishment. On her birthday. Roxy mentions her birthday being "on the 8th" which to me sounded like "yea you know the 8th this month in a few days not yet but soon the month doesnt have to be specified", and "happy birthday" is just something the animatronics say as like, a god to. a 'it doesnt have to be your birthday at the pizzaplex but it needs to FEEL like it is' sort of marketing gig.
but the marbled birthday songs in the purple tube kinda convinced me its her birthday although i am not happy about it :/
also in my hearts hearts the gregory "make sure it doesn't follow you" line is canon but just cut off in the middle by the grimmik
i thought roxy said her bday was the 11th because "you're #1, twice?" also this is the first i'm hearing the theory, but i feel like the theory may be incorrect since we hear roxy talk about cassie's party in a past tense, and we see those cardboard cut-outs showing (what could be assumed as) the events of her party where no one showed up and she began to cry.

yea i never understood how the "you were numer 1, twice" relates to her birthday although i have seen THAT theory around. Bein 1 twice would make her two. Also "i remember you BECAUSE you were number one twice" meaning "oh because it was you're 11th birhtday" is also weird to me, Cassie is the only child in Roxy care that EVER turned 11? I'd assumed she drove the Roxy race very well or that there is a certain point and reward system in visiting the animatronics, and Cassie has so many visiting points that she is Roxy's nr 1 visitor. @@Louie_Watches The birthday songs are definitely part of Cassie's memories from the past since as was mentioned elsewhere inside the Vanni mask there are cutouts referencing one of Cassie's previous birthdays + being number 1 is a common way of saying you won a race. I don't think Steel Wool would have that much oversight as to not have Roxy wish Cassie a happy birthday before "dying" for a metaphorically extra hard gut punch to the player
I do wonder WHEN Cassie's birthday takes place if Ruin takes place on the 11th of July and Cassie's birthday was "on the 8th" that could mean it was as little as two days ago and the blob/tangle really messed up the place in that timeframe
I also have a theory remember in the first game Freddy couldn’t see Vanny unless he had Roxy‘s eyes whenever we see the prototype of Freddy and you put the mask on, he seemingly disappears like he’s not a part of the vanny network And it’s like Vanni knew Gregory was in Freddy so if Gregory saw her Freddy wouldn’t know what he was talking about I’m pretty sure this is not Canon but it’s just a theory
I'm pretty sure the next 3D game will probably still take place some point in the Pizza Plex! So we could see these things appear in a future game / DLC
The idea of a paid DLC would mean more content for us in SB and also it would be cheaper to produce
However a new game would result in more refined mechanics and ideas
I do 100% think we will for sure see a survival mode in the future even if it isn't Security Breach
As for the other minigames there probably no chance
I wonder if you can spin the fact Freddy hur-hur-hur-hurred Toreador March as a sort of "it always leads back to the beginning" deal, where either he's subconsciously drawn to the song, ir just actually enjoys it.

I'm so glad you're still finding unused content in FNAF Ruin! It's like a treasure hunt, and I'm always excited to see what you find.
I especially love the unused graphics. That rabbit with the glowing heart is nightmare fuel, but I can't look away. And the alternate Candy Cadet story is so dark and twisted, it's amazing.
I know you said that you're not sure if all of this content was ever meant to be used, but I like to think that it was. It's like a glimpse into the game's development, and it's fascinating to see what could have been.

In the betrayal ending, I don't think the unused voice lines are unused, because I remember in a game play by @Dakblake , I remember hearing exactly what the "unused" lines are.

Feels like they might have written scripts for a lot of content never developed, perhaps involving bonnie or more areas after the Mimic was revealed, which is honestly probably for the best because if they spent time on content they couldn't finish for their deadlines then we'd just be hearing about it through TetraBitGaming

Yo, why does that map at 16:38 look like Overwatch's Route 66? The buildings and the road and even the upper cliff areas are all there and are practically identical in layout (obviously without the crashed train)! It just really looks like they took some big inspiration for that area!
