Yes, the first thing we as doctors do when you walk through the door is inspect, which tell us a whole lot about a person's health even before they mention the reason for their visit. Especially when it comes to children, we examine for signs of neglect- therefore we pay attention to everything!

You are absolutely right!!! I have always received compliments on how well groomed and behaved my kids are. My oldest is 19 and he is very respectful and responsible, he has never given me any problems, never been in trouble, I am so grateful for that. I kept him into sports and other activities. My youngest is a 10 y/o girl and she is the same. I am teaching her early about proper grooming and good hygeine and other things that I was not taught growing up!! This is excellent advice

@@nenyeo6090I grew up in a very dysfunctional household!! I never had an example of what a healthy relationship was!! I knew when I had kids, I wanted to be different, unfortunately I didn't break the cycle of single motherhood, but everything else I did.
      Tips:
For my son, when his father passed away when my son was 5, I made sure I enrolled him in theraphy!! I knew there are no positive male role models in my family, so I found mentoring programs and enrolled him into sports!!. It was also a requirement that proper grammer was used, no "yeah or "huh", I also encouraged him not to mask his emotions
      For my daughter,
I started early with teaching her the importance of good hygeine, being well groomed, etc. I also; enrolled her into sports, dance, etc. And mentoring programs!!
At dinnertime, we eat as a family at the table with no phones or tv, I encourage them, I never make them feel like their opinions don't count!! They know they are loved and can come to me about anything!! I may have left somethings out, but it was not easy. I am proud of the results

Yes, I don’t judge anyone but I surely decide who my friends are gonna be based on how someone’s kids looks. Yes, your child may have all As in school, but you are dressing them in tube tops at only 13 years old. My child will have friends who are well mannered and well rounded just like she is growing to be. Set a standard and stick to it.

Excellent Advice and Tips! Congratulations, You’re growing so fast! 🎉🎉🎉 I could imagine having a mother like you. Your children are blessed to have a good example of what is woman is and how she conducts herself and educates her children. Your sons will benefit by knowing how to treat the women around them. For the men that disagree, I guess they are not interested in creating a lifestyle for their family where they are the bread winners, etc. To each their own. I’m not knocking them for how they want to live, but it’s not for me. I know, we all have to accept that lives we’ve decided to create by the decision we’ve choose to make or not.

@@beautiful_wonderfullymade Sorry but I stopped reading after at a certain point within your ranting. I refuse to dedicate my time trying to defend men who chastise women they do not know based off surface level information. And I'm definitely not devoting my precious time trying to seek approval from men who do nothing for me who have no business being on WOMEN spaces/platforms (where women are trying to *elevate* themselves). I'm too busy leveling up from dusty idiosyncrasies. I'm a young single mother as well but am dating a provider. It really depends on your mindset. Actual high quality men are out here too busy accumulating paper taking care of their families rather than insulting women on the internet. And the fact that the woman on this channel is sharing advice on how to mother your children better but his Pillsbury roll looking behind is trying to demean her rather than doing something productive speaks volumes.
