Joined when this game was on sale and it’s been such a surprise! Played WoW since 2005 and this is the first time since forever I had more fun in another MMO! A pretty important point for me as a new player was how to reset points for free (because gold is to valuable early for riding or bag improvement): Just get a house and the arsenal table for free. Reset your attributes and skillpoints and save that profile in the arsenal. Now you can always reset all your points (incl. champion points) to try out different abilities.
Made it to the end of the video and I gotta say, it’s been my ESO anchor over the past few days. Saw the Necrom announcement recently, was curious about the game as I’ve played it on and off since launch (even played the beta), and ended up preordering and FINALLY having access to all the chapters. This game has always baffled me with its apparent complexity and customization depth, and has consequently always kept my experience very short and very shallow. Not this time my friend. For the first time since launch in 2014, I can confidently say I have a solid understanding of the basics of ESO, thanks to you brotha.

@@LuckyGhost I bet. so much to to go thru. just also becomes aware in the chapters how longer it is. thx for doing great job as always! just subscribed last year but already glad i found this channel, always interesting and charming
I started eso a few days ago, thanks to this godsend of a video. I used all the resources from your website such as the quest guide and build guild and for once after trying this game dozens of times I actually feel confident in knowing what I should be doing and what I can do. Thank you Lucky 👻
just wanted to show some love and say thank you so much for this video! i’ve been wanting to play ESO for a long time but never got around to it, i’ve watched this over the last two days and it’s incredible and super informative. I feel confident about diving into the game this weekend and i’ll definitely have this open while i’m playing in case i need to jump to a particular part for help!
This was an absolutely amazing guide, especially for someone coming back after a couple years....refreshed my memory and did a great job of introducing the new things. Thank you
Found this video and consequently you channel and just finished watching the whole thing. Been playing for a week now and have been loving every moment of it. TYSM for this video, amazing how much better if feels to play after knowing and understanding a bit better the game. Kudos to you!
As a new player Thank You so much. I was feeling a little lost and very overwhelmed. A nice simple but straight forward guide you have put together is amazing.
Nice just bought this game yesterday on the steam sale along with all of the dlc minus those released this year as they weren't in a 'dlc pack' on the store yet that said I was following your guide from 4 months ago but I'll follow this one now too. Thanks for the videos
My good person this is one of the most helpful videos on the internet regarding the game. Maybe the most helpful since it is all in one place. I do not subscribe in gaming channels anymore (find them too noisy). However you were concise and to the point, making really easy to follow. Worked hard on annotations too. Subscribed and looking forward to more quality content. Cheers!
i was looking for new game. this video got me in to ESO. this and the many other helpful videos from the ESO community. that makes dropping in 10 years after launch a really great experience. having so much fun with this game.
I love this guy so much he explains everything and doesn’t assume the audience knows the game, he never skips over any detail. This is a real guide and a good UA-cam channel
2:13.20 Thanks for mentioning that! I fell into that trap. Just started 2 Weeks ago and learned a lot with this video. Thank you! Edit: Yes, I made it to the end, listening while playing ESO myself ^^
I first watched the elswyr video years ago when I started on Xbox but having recently come back now on pc I’m so happy to find that ur still making videos to help people out. Also the community is still surprisingly large and for the first time someone named D.Paine helped me out and made me a full training set for free and it’s things like these keeping the game alive for me. So keep up the great work and I will be revisiting this video over the year as I progress :)
I'm new and still video is insanely long but organizing everything to be able to hop around in topics that interest me the most is excellent. Thank you for your dedication and support for the ESO community 🙏
Watched it all the way through and absolutely loved it! I played ESO when it originally released, but didn't get too far into it. I had it downloading again in the background while I watched this and want to thank you for being so comprehensive with the guide. Safe to say I'm more than a little daunted, but definitely feel like I'm in a better position now than I was before I started watching. Thanks so much for this and all the other guides I'll no doubt be checking out over the course of getting back into this game!
Wow -- This is amazing. I've been playing ESO for years (on and off) and I'm getting back into it now and basically starting over/relearning how to play again. This has been helpful to get back up to speed.
Really good guide! Its a lot but very very well made. Thank you Lucky Ghost. Bought the Game with the Necrom chapter just now. Always loved the world of elder scrolls and I knew this day would come. Im going to try to complete all the storylines. Wish me luck in Tamriel!
@Lucky Ghost, This combat veteran salutes you. Your videos has made my journey through eso..so much more enjoyable. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making these guides for us. Much Love, look forward to future content you publish.
My my Lucky ghost, i just sat installing ESO after a break from the game (hardly played it but enjoy the game) and i ran out of disk space and had to verify and download all the files and then wait on it applying the files again lol so having this video to refresh me and learn new things as well was a big help to have on while i wait, thank you! :)
Eso scared me off at first because I was so young and.. well we’ll just say not intelligent lol, I just started trying to actually get into it for the first time in at least a couple years and needed a good guide video. Although it took awhile I did convince myself to watch the whole video and I’m really glad I did, everything I learned from it plus all of your other guides will be extremely helpful in these next few weeks👌🏼👌🏼
Been years since ive played, glad i watched this vid. Got 2 friends who will be joining me this upcoming week and this has put me in a position where I feel confident i can guide them through the game pretty well.
Hey bro new player here OG Skyrim player it was my childhood loved it I remember the day EOS came out I went to GameStop and got it and played it for a week ( hated it ) don’t know why but I just started playing again and fell in love I just want you to know THIS IS THE BEST GUIDE EVER THANK YOU !!!!! Kicking myself for missing out on 9 years of fun
I tend to play for a good few months a year then put it down until the next binge comes. Grateful for vids like this - theyre great for returning players too. Helps a lot with catching up to grips on whats current
Great, in-depth video! Just a returning player here, and this will be super helpful as reference material to come back to in the future. Thank you so much for your efforts in putting this together!
It's always good for a new player to find some friends or s guild that will help them get wayshrines. This helps them overcome the lack of mobility they have in their mounts and gets more XP for them than you would expect for just porting around after someone.
you're so amazing! I stopped 2 years ago and recently started the game again. This is a great video to refresh my memory. Thanks for your insane amount of work.
Great guide! Watched it all in one go and a lot to take in so will go back to the parts I need to refresh my memory on. Watching the guide while playing is a no go for me cause the resources ESO takes from my computer makes it impossible to even watch youtube at the same time. Thanks for your hard work!
Just bought my copy at the pawn shop yesterday! Very excited to start the game. This guide was near the top of the list in the search. Thank you so much for your work sir
Truly grateful for your video- I've been seriously considering playing ESO (as my first online) after dipping my toes into Oblivion earlier this year. Thank you!!!
Been playing on and off since the game’s launch and your channel is one of the reasons I keep coming back, you teach me something new almost every time
I’ve been playing on and off for years and still learned a few new things here. Thanks for a great guide. One request: please share your transmog details when you were explaining the crown store at the end! As a sorc main, that look was amazing!
Fun fact on the Bosmer - the Bosmer that don't live in their forest homelands aren't bound by the green pact. They can eat whatever they want whenever they want. Also, it's not that they CAN'T eat fruit/veggies in their homeland, it's that they can only do it if it doesn't hurt plants. So they couldn't pluck an apple off a tree, but eating an apple that FELL off the tree is fair game.
Thanks for this man. Very well put together. Watched the whole video over a few days. I was on the fence about diving in, played a bit around release, so bad impressions. Lol. High Isle Collection was on sale for $16 bucks so I think it's about time I give it a try. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I have been playing the game off and on for years, first console then PC; this is by far thee best and most complete tutorial I’ve seen and actually enjoyed. 🍻
I've been watching you play this game for ages now, never actually dared to try it out myself. Just got the game for free from epic game, I guess it's time to start my own journey!!
Thanks for the info. This was really helpful and a great place to start for a noob such as myself. Watched to whole thing in one go. ps. after playing the game with addons for 20 min, I can already tell I'll never go back to not using them. They are SO useful. I don't understand why the game doesn't come with a mini map by default.
This really helps I needed my MMO fix and I love elder scrolls and it's on the pass and I'm having a blast no where near 50 yet but imma get there. This vid is really good to listen to while you play
Great video for someone like who really enjoys researching all the game has to offer before really diving in. You’ve saved me a ton of time, money and frustrations in the future. Really looking forward to your other videos as I progress in the game. Cheers, Ghost. Great Job!
Just watched the whole thing. Super useful! I'm not necessarily a noob anymore but still, I learned a few new things here and there. Again, great guide, I very much enjoyed watching this while playing eso.
Been playing eso for ages but will be listening to this while levelling my alts as there’s bound to be something in here that I don’t know 😂..cheers lucky and happy new year
Hello! I played ESO for 2 Months (5 Years ago) wasn´t for me. Im now a fulltime BDO main, but i liked ure Guide VERY much! It was a pleasure to listen to, and maybe ill revisit ESO someday. Cheers
Haven't even started this video but thanks for making it! I've always wanted to buy this game but I was young when it first came out so I couldn't get it. I'm in college now and I've finally decided to buy it, will be watching this while I wait for it to download!
I’m completely New to the Elder Scrolls Online recently and personally had No real clue whatsoever what I was doing, so thanks for helping players like me learn with this guide video my friend.
Just bought ESO dvd from eBay, for my Xbox. I played repeatedly Skyrim and Oblivion etc… I never played an MMO. Well, I tried a PVP game on my iPad but after a while I gave up. Too many morons paying big money to get big stuff and crush players who did not spend. Very excited to start ESO and very glad for this guide. I will study it as the game is vaste and daunting as a newbie. Thanks for this video. x
Ty lucky this is amazing, I wish I had this years ago hehe better late then never. I sent this to a friend of mine that will post it in his start up guild.
Thank you for posting this video! I have been thinking of returning and starting fresh as its been a while & this gave me the push I needed! Lots of stuff I didnt know! Hope you have a Happy New Year!!
Thank you for putting out quality work. The fact that you consistently put out factual and detailed work is greatly appreciated, especially when there are some shoddy youtubers out there. I just came across one the other day that had a tips and tricks guide that had some serious inaccuracies. The biggest is that he said that all skill lines are leveled by putting them on the hot bar. It wasn't even that he forgot to mention that some lines level differently. He specifically mentioned putting guild skills on the bar to level the line. I am glad that you at least take helping new players seriously.
@LuckyGhost I'm not even a new player, but they change so much that I like to watch videos like this to catch up on changes. Even when I have the benefit of already having knowledge of the game, I still learn stuff sometimes from watching these. For that alone, I appreciate creators like yourself.
I started playing the game since the release. With a few breaks i played till elsweyr, had nearly thousand hours, had end gear, done few of the hard dungeons, raids, etc. had a cool guild with people i liked, payed a big amount of money for crown store items, then my playstation broke and i didn't want to get a new one cause i switched to pc. Haven't played for like nearly 4 years because i didn't want to start over again from zero on the pc... But well, here i finally am again, bought the full game with the upcoming addon and hope to find new people on the pc again to play with. Very big informative guide. Thanks for the work.
I just got ESO a few days ago, and haven’t even ventured that far from the teleport station. 😆 After work; I’ll give the game a play, and your video a through watch. Thanks for this; dude.
Thanks for a really comprehensive and helpful video. As a recently returned player I picked up so many great tips...........................and, yes, I did watch it all the way through to the end : )
I came here trying to figure out where to find the anvil to deconstruct gear. I stayed for all teh other information I didn't know I was missing. thank you for the help!
Wow man! Your videos are amazing, cannot thank you enough for all your awesome content. I've loved Elder Scrolls since I played Oblivion when it first came out. I'm a skyrim Junky, but I haven't played an MMO since Asherons Call back in the day (what a call back). Anyway, I tried to start playing ESO about 4 years ago and it was just too overwhelming and I felt lost. I decided to give it another go and watching your video has made it so enjoyable to play. You rock! You've got a dedicated viewer in me, my friend. Thanks again
Just wanted to offer a coin saving option for newer players for getting their abilities maxed out to be morphable without paying for skill changes, get the free room in Alinor in Summerset then go into the store and pick up the free armory station and put it in your room, you get 2 armory slots for free, you can save a build in 1 slot but always leave 1 slot blank so you can use it to easily clear your skills and attributes for free and make your skill points spendable again
This was a great lecture, was longer than a OSRS complete guide I watched, there was a lot for you to cover and you did it very well with out going to in-depth where it wasn't needed, but have more in-depth guides for later when we need them. Very good work.
Holy shit dude, this guide is massive! I played ESO back when it was new. I have the "Tamriel Unlimited" edition. I'm watching your video as the game is re-installing on my PS4. I'm curious to see how many of these features I will encounter with just the base game with no expansions. The only thing I can vaguely remember, is walking through this purple place with a quest NPC voiced by John Cleese. Anyways, hats off for being so thorough.
Hiya Lucky, Another brilliant video mate. Straight to the point with all the right information. This is the man to give a subscribe to for all thing ESO . His video's are all class stuff. Happy New Year mate.

just wanted to show some love and say thank you so much for this video! i’ve been wanting to play ESO for a long time but never got around to it, i’ve watched this over the last two days and it’s incredible and super informative. I feel confident about diving into the game this weekend and i’ll definitely have this open while i’m playing in case i need to jump to a particular part for help!
Great vid…I made it all the way thru, and I’ve been playing ESO since beta! Still learned some things. Really well done!
DITTO
This was an absolutely amazing guide, especially for someone coming back after a couple years....refreshed my memory and did a great job of introducing the new things. Thank you
Found this video and consequently you channel and just finished watching the whole thing. Been playing for a week now and have been loving every moment of it. TYSM for this video, amazing how much better if feels to play after knowing and understanding a bit better the game. Kudos to you!
As a new player Thank You so much. I was feeling a little lost and very overwhelmed. A nice simple but straight forward guide you have put together is amazing.
Thanks!
No, thank YOU 🙏 😊!
Nice just bought this game yesterday on the steam sale along with all of the dlc minus those released this year as they weren't in a 'dlc pack' on the store yet that said I was following your guide from 4 months ago but I'll follow this one now too. Thanks for the videos
Good luck!
Welcome aboard!
Thanks!
Thank YOU! Wow appreciate it!
Glad to help!
Welcome back!
I'm new and still video is insanely long but organizing everything to be able to hop around in topics that interest me the most is excellent. Thank you for your dedication and support for the ESO community 🙏
Glad it was helpful!
just started ESO for the first time. this guide is incredibly useful and well put together!
thanks A LOT!!!
WOW - I found it hard to follow as a Noob
@Lucky Ghost,
This combat veteran salutes you. Your videos has made my journey through eso..so much more enjoyable. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making these guides for us. Much Love, look forward to future content you publish.
Probably the best and most informative guide on eso to date. BIG HELP
Haven't tried ESO yet but this looks like a fantastic guide! Thanks Lucky
I made it through to the end. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I appreciate it!
This is extremely helpful! I am filled with gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much!
This is one of the best Complete guilds I have seen. Awesome work my Dude and thanks for all the hard work!!
Watched the whole video. also watched a lot of your other ESO stuffs, thanks a lot for all the content you've created!
Thank you!
Fantastic video! I have over 500 hours on this game but put this vid in the background during cleaning, taught me some stuff I didn't know!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great, in-depth video! Just a returning player here, and this will be super helpful as reference material to come back to in the future. Thank you so much for your efforts in putting this together!
Been playing for 6 years and I still found this video helpful. Lucky is a great resource for ESO! Thank you for helping the ESO community Lucky!
You're very welcome! I hope you enjoy!
Made it, thanks for all the time and effort you put into the video. I made lv 8 while listening. First time playing... Thanks man
just getting back into ESO after many many years away. this is was a tremendous help. awesome work
Truly grateful for your video- I've been seriously considering playing ESO (as my first online) after dipping my toes into Oblivion earlier this year. Thank you!!!
Omg this was perfect, just played while questing and just starting the game. Very usefull. Behond perfect. Insane to imagine the hard work dude !
Been playing on and off since the game’s launch and your channel is one of the reasons I keep coming back, you teach me something new almost every time
Glad to help
I’ve been playing on and off for years and still learned a few new things here. Thanks for a great guide. One request: please share your transmog details when you were explaining the crown store at the end! As a sorc main, that look was amazing!
Thanks. 'Been away since '19, this helped. 'Stayed to the end, subscribing now.
Just joined 2 days ago on steam. Loving it so far. Great time for a new guide!
Heck ya enjoy!
Stayed all the way through! Very informative. You deserve more subs!
Fabulous Content! Great Voice , everything I wanted to know about when I started playing, and some things I still didn't know. Thank You!
Your guide bring me back to eso after 2 years! Thank you and you doing amazing contents !💪
Welcome back!
i play eso for a few days now the first time ever, its a blast and your guides help alot. Thank you
Been playing eso for ages but will be listening to this while levelling my alts as there’s bound to be something in here that I don’t know 😂..cheers lucky and happy new year
Cheers! Happy new year!
Hey, I just checked out your youtube channel and then your website for the first time. Your content is really helpful, so thanks!
My pleasure! Thanks for saying so!
Made it to the end! Brand new player and this was A-MA-ZING info :) thanks so much :)
So glad, hope you enjoy!
I’m completely New to the Elder Scrolls Online recently and personally had No real clue whatsoever what I was doing, so thanks for helping players like me learn with this guide video my friend.
Glad I could help!
I sent this to a friend of mine that will post it in his start up guild.
my pleasure! and thank you for sharing
Coming back to the game after not played in over a year and needed to brush up on some stuff. Thanks for making this!
Thank you for posting this video! I have been thinking of returning and starting fresh as its been a while & this gave me the push I needed! Lots of stuff I didnt know! Hope you have a Happy New Year!!
My pleasure and happy new year to you as well!
I'm glad you appreciate the effort that goes into my content
After work; I’ll give the game a play, and your video a through watch. Thanks for this; dude.
Good luck!
thanks for taking the time to make this guide sir, and including all the helpful guide links in the description.
The amount of time and detail you put into your videos is amazing. Keep it up dude
Thanks for a really comprehensive and helpful video. As a recently returned player I picked up so many great tips...........................and, yes, I did watch it all the way through to the end : )
Haha 😄 glad you enjoyed it! Welcome back!
The only beginners guide I share over and over again EVERY year! Thanks again for solid content ❤️❤️❤️
You're so welcome!
The alliance mount speed is a God send! Never knew this before. Thank you very much!!
Bro I really appreciate you for the quest order guide. I wanted to play this as first intended but didn’t know where to start thank you 💪🏾
I came here trying to figure out where to find the anvil to deconstruct gear.
Thank you for the tutorial, I watched the whole video before starting to play and it sure helped me a lot!
This was a great lecture, was longer than a OSRS complete guide I watched, there was a lot for you to cover and you did it very well with out going to in-depth where it wasn't needed, but have more in-depth guides for later when we need them. Very good work.
just bought the game today and watched the whole guide, i love what im getting myself into and im super excited to spend my days playing this game XD
Thanks for the thoroughness! It was so helpful and a head smack for the things I've missed in the past few months of playing lol
Very welcome!
I stumbled across this video and I listen to it as I fall asleep. Very soothing and relaxing. I’m sure it’s fun game.😊
Made it to the end of the vid. Amazing!!! My head is still spinning
