🚨*Correction! Honolulu did give me a code (J2MATTHEWK) to knock off an additional $5 on the base J2 during the super sale to make it only $95 🤯. As for the J2H, my normal code (MATTHEWK) will work for a 10% discount. And special promo code J2KMATTHEWK will give you the biggest discount ($20) on the J2K Kevlar models. You can purchase here: bit.ly/3SErM6I
Great review, particularly enjoyed the comparisons with other popular paddles like the Vatic flash, DBD, and Ruby. Would love to see your review of their new pro model and how it compares to the J2k. Great to see so many companies pushing the envelope on innovation and bringing prices down!
In the world of growing cost in pickleball, I really appreciate this company making the effort to bring us affordable paddles. Affordable and yet still high quality. Like many others, I want to check out that J2K Pro! Thanks for the review 🙌🏼.
Thanks for your awesome review, I used your code to purchase the J2H. Please review the J2K Pro vs the Ruby next and let us know how you felt in terms of difference in playability feel, etc. The stats are always useful to see for a pause, but your detailed descriptions are what we all come to your reviews for. Going to be interesting to hear your takes on the J2K vs Ruby since the J2K re/blue are a softer weave vs Ruby, while the PRO black is a tighter weave compared to the Ruby so more pop and power maybe
I am amazed to hear to about J2k's Swing weight being that light and a great twist weight. It would be awesome to get one to keep my elbows strain free.would also like to hear about J2k pro.
Wow - J2K review on the next day after asking for it! Your reviews are so helpful for choosing the right paddle - I’m liking the red J2K, but interested in the Pro as well.
I currently play Pickleball in Cuenca, Ecuador and use the SixZero Ruby. I would like to see a comparison between the J2K, J2K PRO, SixZero Ruby, and the Thrive Azul. Thanks for a great explanation of the differences in the Honolulu paddles!
I tried the Ruby but the price was bit high for me. When J2K came out for preorder, I was already tempted because I like the dark color one. So it's J2K for me and that is paddle I hope to see a full review on.❤😎
Thanks for doing a comparison video! It’s nice to hear about a new paddle by itself, but it’s more useful sometimes to have a direct comparison between different models like you did. And I love that they have blue for the J2K, as opposed to only red as seen in other Kevlar paddles. A review of the J2K pro next would be awesome as well. Great job!
I need both of those giveaway paddles... his and her! J2K all the way! Blue 1st pick, Red would be 2nd. I think the J5 should be your next review. That thing is wild looking!
I am digging the J2K stats. The Ruby is a bit heavier and feels sluggish. From what I am seeing on the states, the J2k is the best of the Ruby and DBD combined. I am interested in your review of the J2K Pro.
First review I have seen on these paddles , I like the concept paddles utilizing Kevlar so the paddle that I am drawn to is the J2K, I was going to purchase the 6.0 Ruby but the J2K has my attention. I would like a review of the black Pro version , that sounds like a monster.
Awesome review, as always. I notice you look for the same things I do in paddles, so I always come here for advice. Can't want for your review of the J2K Pro.
Hey Matthew, brilliant job showing the varied characteristics of each of these paddles! I'd like to see you review the J7K next! How will it compare to the J2K?? 😊
Please review J2K Pro, it's specs are almost identical to J2K except power weave instead of control weave, I'm interested to know the differences performance wise. Please also review J5, it's the 2nd paddle which is 17x7 to my knowledge, the twist weight is better than Pickleball Apes Pro Line Energy from the specs, I'm interested to see how these two compare.
So glad you are doing reviews for Sword and Shield. I just ordered the J2 but would love to get a J2k once I get better. Please review the J2Pro when you get one. 🙏🏼
I have been looking at the J2K in other reviews. Liked your coverage of most Honolulu paddles and would like you to review both the J2K against the Thrive Azul paddle and J2K PRO. I am looking at a Kevlar paddle as my next paddle.
Awesome review. Do you have an concerns w/ wear & tear/durability for the J2K? I've read that some people reported decreased grittiness/control w/ the Ruby after 3-6mo of use. Would love to see the review on the J2k Pro version and if you could discuss durability concerns w/ kevlar paddles.
Thank you! And I’ve heard there have been issues with the Ruby and paddle erasers. There’s a new cleaner called Paddle Reset that you might want to check out. There’s a link with a discount code in the video description. Seems like a good option, but only time will tell!
I currently use the 6.0 Single Black Diamond. It has a fibreglass face. I was going to order the Ruby for my next paddle. That is, until I found your review of the J2K. To be honest I've never heard of them before today. But for the difference in price I think I'm going to give this paddle a shot. I plan to wait for your review of the "Pro" version of this paddle first. Well done on your review.
Can't wait to see the j2k pro vs j2k review, and the blue vs red! I love the 6.0 black diamond and would be so interested in the comparison with that one!
Can’t wait to hear about how different the J2K Pro feels in the hands compared to all these versions. Looking forward to that upcoming review. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Giveaway. I’ve been trying to win a Honolulu pickleball paddle for so long!!!
Compared to some of the Kevlar/CF blend paddles, it’s softer IMO. But not sure if it’d be a good solve for tennis elbow. If you end up trying one out, let us know!
Ordered the J2K. Can't wait to try it out. Been playing the MMark Krypton elongate kevlar blend paddle. Very good power and pop, but wish it is softer when hit@@MatthewKPickleball
Thanks for the detailed review, pushed me over the edge to breakaway from my carbon paddles. Amazing the natural progression of materials, just when you think you have the best!
There’s awesome something new! Haha. I do really like the feel of Honolulu’s Kevlar. Should be an easier transition from CF than some other paddles out there!
Great review, I really hadn't considered one of the Honolulu paddles until watching your review. Please review the J2k Pro next. I'm really interested in what that paddle will be like. One of the Kevlar paddles here will be one my shortlist to purchase when I need another paddle. Sure would like to win one though, 😅
Yo! So glad you commented! You actually won the J3 from the previous raffle, but I didn’t have your email. I have it now from this entry. Sending you a note now. Shoot me back when you get a chance, so I can get that paddle to you. Congrats! 🥳
At the point of looking at replacement for my Prism Flash, one with good control, but more power/pop. How would you compare the Triple J Judah vs. J2? Any other recommendations in that vein? I often seen the DBD, Ruby, Hyperion, and Flash as recommendations. That Triple J warranty is attractive, though...
All the paddles you mentioned are great paddles, but I think the J2 (if you want a short handle) or Judah (if you want a long handle) would be great. I also wouldn’t be afraid to consider the J2K. If you add some weight to the bottom corners it’s super controllable with a real boost in power and pop IMO. I just really love that paddle. And if you want something similar but with a long handle, check out my new video on the Kevlar Hurache. Hope that helps!
I love how you get the option how you want to play and for someone like me who plays both singles and doubles then this paddles would be excellent choices.
I’d say the stock J2 sits between a vatic pro flash and DBD in pop. And I’d say it’s got close to the same power as the DBD. As for the Apes paddles, I’ll be checking those out soon.
🚨*Correction! Honolulu did give me a code (J2MATTHEWK) to knock off an additional $5 on the base J2 during the super sale to make it only $95 🤯. I would love to see a J2K review and comparison to the J2K pro and Six Zero Ruby
Great review, particularly enjoyed the comparisons with other popular paddles like the Vatic flash, DBD, and Ruby. Would love to see your review of their new pro model and how it compares to the J2k. Great to see so many companies pushing the envelope on innovation and bringing prices down!
Great breakdown, I would be interested in long term durability of kevlar.
Yeah , looking forward to how the j2k pro compares to the rest of them! Good comparison of the others!
In the world of growing cost in pickleball, I really appreciate this company making the effort to bring us affordable paddles. Affordable and yet still high quality. Like many others, I want to check out that J2K Pro! Thanks for the review 🙌🏼.
I agree; I think Honolulu is setting the bar with price-and the super sale going on for the J2 right now is just a ridiculously good deal.
Really appreciate the kind words and support! I’ll try and get my hands on a Ruby for some extended playtesting. Love your ideas!
I would like to try the J2K and compare it with my main one, the 6.0 Ruby. Would also like to see you review the Pro version of it.
Can you do a comparison of the J2K versus the Spartus Apollo? I am definitely getting one of them.
I am amazed to hear to about J2k's Swing weight being that light and a great twist weight. It would be awesome to get one to keep my elbows strain free.would also like to hear about J2k pro.
Thank you so so much for this review. I'd love to see a review of the J2K Pro, as well as side-to-side comparison between Kevlar vs Carbon Fiber.
Great review. I think I'd be a player for the J2K first, then J2, then J2H last. Loving all the new Kevlar face paddles coming out. Next up - J2K Pro!
Wow - J2K review on the next day after asking for it! Your reviews are so helpful for choosing the right paddle - I’m liking the red J2K, but interested in the Pro as well.
I was going to tell you it was up! Glad you found it helpful!
I currently play Pickleball in Cuenca, Ecuador and use the SixZero Ruby. I would like to see a comparison between the J2K, J2K PRO, SixZero Ruby, and the Thrive Azul. Thanks for a great explanation of the differences in the Honolulu paddles!
Thanks for the review! I’ve been waiting for this comparison! Great job and thanks for the discount!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Great job!
Appreciate the kind words!
I need both of those giveaway paddles... his and her! J2K all the way! Blue 1st pick, Red would be 2nd. I think the J5 should be your next review. That thing is wild looking!
Thanks for the review. Would like to see the J2K Pro review next. Also, I would love to show off my new J2K paddle to the Villagers in Florida.
I am digging the J2K stats. The Ruby is a bit heavier and feels sluggish. From what I am seeing on the states, the J2k is the best of the Ruby and DBD combined. I am interested in your review of the J2K Pro.
I think doing a review on the selkirk lux, power lookalike styles, the J1 or J5 and see how they compare. Thank you!
The J2k looks great, would love to see a comparison of the J2k versus the vatic pro flash 14mm.
Yes, I’ve been recommended the 14mm Flash before, but I’m not sure I’ll be getting one to test anytime soon.
Looking forward to trying the J 2K. I currently play with the ruby and love it. I hope it’s even better than that.
Appreciate your review! I’ve been looking at Kevlar paddles and this J2k paddle has great attributes.
Great concise review of all 3 paddles! Sine I currently use a 6.0 DBD I would like to compare with the J2K
This was the review I was for and you reviewed the J3 previously. The J2K sounds like a great paddle for me.
Yes, it’s a real joy to play with. Currently, struggling to test new paddles to review because I just want to play with the J2K! 😂
Great review! I’d like you to review the J2K Pro next. It looks very interesting! Thank you!!
They all look great! I'm very interested in how that J2K pro compares!
Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these paddles. They sound like they are going to be fantastic.
You found the one paddle reviewer that’s not a power hitter! Haha
Hey Matthew, brilliant job showing the varied characteristics of each of these paddles! I'd like to see you review the J7K next! How will it compare to the J2K?? 😊
Have the J2 already and would agree with your review. Would love to try the J2K….
I love the Blue J2K paddle. I would want the J1H reviewed, which is Thor's Hammer.
Please review J2K Pro. Interested to know its static and swing weight, as well as whether the extra power comes at the expense of control.
Thanks for the fantastic review! Can't wait for the J2K pro review!
I would like to see you review the J3 paddle next. I gravitate toward the wider paddles now.
That one is up on the channel already if you want to check it out! It’s a great paddle!
So glad you are doing reviews for Sword and Shield. I just ordered the J2 but would love to get a J2k once I get better. Please review the J2Pro when you get one. 🙏🏼
A review of the J1H would be nice. I'm liking that fiberglass is making a comeback in paddle designs.
I can't wait to try the J2H. I am a huge fan of the J3. I would like to see you do a comparison between the Honolulu J3 and Hudef Viva Pro 2. TY
Want to see a review of the J2K Pro! Interested in getting it once it's USA Pickleball Approved, the site description says it's still pending
I have been looking at the J2K in other reviews. Liked your coverage of most Honolulu paddles and would like you to review both the J2K against the Thrive Azul paddle and J2K PRO. I am looking at a Kevlar paddle as my next paddle.
Would love to see a review of the J2K pro. Curious to see how much more power it brings.
Nice review, I'm playing with the Huarche X and love it, I ordered the J2H as well. Interested on what you think about the J1H.
If you love the Hurache-X, I think you’ll love the J2H!
great video! I currently play with the Six Zero Ruby and would love a video comparing the J2K to the J2K Pro and the Ruby! Thanks!

Can't wait to see the j2k pro vs j2k review, and the blue vs red! I love the 6.0 black diamond and would be so interested in the comparison with that one!
I’d love to get a J2K in my hand! Kevlar is interesting, need to see how it hits.
would love to see how the J2K and the J2K Pro compare with drives, dinks, resets
J2K looks awesome! Would love to see a review of the J2K pro!
The sword and shield J5 looks really interesting to review. Wonder how the hole in the paddle affects play.
It will be great to compare all three of J2, J2H, and J2K performance specs plus a durability comparison.
I'm dying to get my hands on the J2 and or the J2K. As for what to review next from the it has to be the J2K Pro! Thanks for the review.
Thank you for this review! i’ve been researching a lot about J2K paddles. Would love to see you review the J2K pro paddle next!

I would like to see a review of the Honolulu SWORD & SHIELD J3
That review is up on the channel! Great, great paddle!
Can't wait for the J2k pro version review. What material makes it more powerful
I believe it has to do with the pattern of the embossed weave being different, but I’ll look into it more soon!
J2K looks epic! Would love to play with this one! Thank you for the review.
I have the Vatic pro flash so it was great to hear you compare it to the J2K. Looking forward to review of the J2K pro.
Love the review I like the J2K the best. Please review J2K pro next
I'd love to hear your thoughts on J2K vs the 6.0 Ruby/other kevlar paddles- appreciate the review!
Would like to see the double black diamond vs the J2K paddle review soon. Thanks for J2K review
Does the J2K feel soft and plush? Got tennis elbow. Looking for softer paddle.
This one will def feel softer! I do recommend some tungsten on the bottom corners to widen out the sweet spot.
Kinda wanna see the J1H. I kinda like the dark blue on the J2K but both look fire🔥🔥🔥
Seeing this brand popup more, great review and would like to see the J2K Pro next!
Great review of the J2 paddles. You spark my interest in the Kevlar paddle

Would love the J2K. Thanks for the thorough reviews
Thanks for showcasing these! Would love to see the J2K review!
Great review, I really hadn't considered one of the Honolulu paddles until watching your review. Please review the J2k Pro next. I'm really interested in what that paddle will be like. Yo! So glad you commented! You actually won the J3 from the previous raffle, but I didn’t have your email. I have it now from this entry. Sending you a note now. Shoot me back when you get a chance, so I can get that paddle to you. Congrats! 🥳
Love to see a review of the J3. thanks.
That one’s up on the channel already! Great, great paddle!

The J3 is awesome! I have video up on it in case you want to check it out!
I’d be interested to see you review the J2K Pro next.
At the point of looking at replacement for my Prism Flash, one with good control, but more power/pop. How would you compare the Triple J Judah vs. J2? Any other recommendations in that vein? Thank you for this review, I would like to see the J2K Pro and OM Aero1 Reviewed
Great Review, Matthew! Thank you! Review the J2KPro when it comes out. :)
Please review the new J2K pro Black…thank you!
Thank you so so much for this review. Been waiting for this. Love to see J2K Pro review next.
Could you please do a comparison of how the J2 compares to the DBD and maybe J2K to Pro Line Energy S? Thanks.
I’d say the stock J2 sits between a vatic pro flash and DBD in pop. And I’d say it’s got close to the same power as the DBD. As for the Apes paddles, I’ll be checking those out soon.
These paddles look awesome
