Billy you are too funny, “The tax man will have to wait, I needed a chandelier “. Really gave me a chuckle. The kitchen island is lovely and that chandelier is stunning. Perfect!! Mick and Yannis you’re doing good work too. Will love the garden planting in the Spring. Good job Yannis, you’re a jewel and such a great helper to all the the Petherick s Nick and Michael I cannot express how much I’ve enjoyed your loving care in putting this organization back together and cleaning as you go… I can not wait to hear it being played by Michael. Nick your family will be happy to have you home… wishing you a happy holiday with your family. But I’m sure you’ll be back at some point. ❤❤❤ I had no doubts in my mind that you both and others that assisted would make it to Christmas so praying it’s all done before Nick leaves for home. 💫🤗🙏🙏💫🎵🎶🎼🎤🎹🎻🎷.
Just wondering if your UA-cam presence and outstanding work ( never knew I'd find the kitchen or the whole organ project so fascinating!) has garnered media attention. Not saying that's what you're going for-but honestly, your vlogs are so superior- you deserve any and all accolades that come your way! You're better than most DIY television programs.
Everybody knows the corporate media is irrelevant, hazardous, hostile regime garbage. That's why they watch UA-cam. It is also why they won't promote or try to engage with channels, creators like this. It doesn't suit their values, agenda of deliberate, sadistic psychological warfare and manipulation.
I fast forward through Michael bits. Still salty about him giving go fund me money for his cottage to some stranger, then asking for more money again. Just lost all respect.
How they had the courage to BEGIN this project is beyond me. It is so incredibly complex and has relied on so many individuals’ lifetimes of experience and accrued knowledge that it seems nearly miraculous to me that they have jointly accomplished this. Just wow!
I agree with you completely on this! I knew they were complicated objects but didn’t really know just how complex they really are. The mind just boggles at the thought of some larger organs and how many parts are in them! Wonderful job by Nick and Michael working out where and how things fit, congratulations guys 🎉🎉🎉
I have to say your videos of the convent renovations and especially the organ rebuild is FASCINATING! I will never look at a pipe organ with any disregard again. Nick and Michael are doing a great and facilitating job!! 👍
Yanis has such a wonderful attitude. He's always cheerful and willing to pitch in, whether doing unskilled labor or practicing a skilled trade like plastering under the watchful eye of the master, Simon.
Yannis has certainly blossomed in his environment at the Pethericks and kudos to them for keeping him on and he's definitely one of the family now - with Mo and Sadie too !!!
How on earth does Michael and Nick know how this organ works? I find it to be very complicated. There seems to be literally thousands of parts and numerous functions. I admire both of these men their ability and dedication to this project. Awesome…😊
I had no idea how delicate these old organs are, there are sooo many places where this amazing instrument could have an issue, they're a miracle I think when they work the way they should. Thanks so much for all the explanations.
It definitely showcases the importance of saving these works of fine craftsmanship. It would be great if Alex and the team would create a compilation video of the rebuild (reasonable length) for Father Paul and the “save the organs” group to use in their efforts. Maybe with a voiceover on things to watch out for.
How amazing it will be when the vegies and fruit from the garden are snug in the pantry again. The pantry shelves look to be in wonderful shape. Thanks to everyone, working so hard.
Billy, after the OSMO drys, you can lightly rub it down using OOO or OOOO steel or brass wool. It will smooth out the finish beautifully. I restore antique furniture and other wood items. It works perfectly and gets rid of any brush marks.
A handy way to clean this Chandelier. Is to hang a large umbrella underneath. With newspapers to absorb the spray cleaner. Everything drips on the paper. So easy to do . Cheers Mate
I love that idea but the chandelier seems wider than even the largest umbrella. Maybe using the same concept with a kiddie pool under it to catch the drips. Either way definitely an easier way than alternatives that I can think of.
There isn't a single one of you guys that don't deserve to be commended for the hours of work you've put into that convent from it's highest peak, to the basement you utilize, to the videos you entertain us all with. Bless you for sharing yourselves with us and for each of your contributions. Hug those ladies an extra time or 2 for us for the patience they show with each of these projects but mostly for sharing you with us.
Waste not, want not… fantastic that all the scrap wood is being used for kindling. I love how the whole team can adjust to doing all the necessary jobs.
You are working on the organ with such care and love for what you are doing, it's such a pleasure to watch. The kitchen is wonderful. Again, the care and attention incredible. Thank you so much for the amazingly professional program.x
That chandelier ...just gorgeous!!! Nick and Michael are doing an amazing job with the organ. They show and explain everything so well that I feel like I am ready to play an organ!! :) I just love how Alex captures everything and matches the music...awesome job!! :)
I loved the views of the Convent both external and internal Alex, great camera work. The kitchen bench looks fabulous especially under that gorgeous Chandelier Billy. Mick and Yanis are always working hard keeping things going in the backgroynd. Nick and Michael you are both amazing with the amount of work you have done with the Organ. Well done everyone 💕🇦🇺
If I ever have a bucket list, I swear, visiting the convent would be at the top. It's so fascinating watching this process, and the kitchen is stunning!!
Hello everyone! The attention to detail is great, from setting up the organ (some pipework!) to coating the centre island with varnish and clearing the wood from the celar - so entertaining!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Michael is so knowledgeable and innovative and Nick is a genius at making every report positive and vividly clear, it is such a pleasure to see the excitable Michael and the serene Nick interact.
Michael and Nick are having such a good time in the chapel, it is lovely seeing Mick and Yanis reusing everything they possibly can among the various properties. Yanis is always learning, and his English is getting better so quickly, and he seems happy every time we see him. Billy glows a little more with each new task he accomplishes in the amazing kitchen he has created from his mind’s eye, and his own labour with the help of Simon and the other specialists.🖤🇨🇦
Thank you Alex for showing us the spooky upper floors once in a while. Don't know where you find the nerve but I'm grateful you do. I believe that if there are those from beyond inhabiting the convent they are probably very happy about what's going on for the most part. We'll see when Billy starts on the library what with taking part of the ceiling out. If anyone is going to put up a fuss it might be then. 😅 Beautiful work all around gentlemen!!! ❤
I notice in my old (1860) house, that when I start moving things about and putting a coat of paint or fixing this or that, that the spirits get a bit more active. I gotta wonder how many weird things are going on at the convent right now lol
I enjoy this channel more and more every day! Yanis is coming out of his shell so much and his english is expanding 😁 it is such a great thing to witness, go Yanis!! 👏👏🙏🙌👍😀 You are all wonderful gentlemen and Mick is an inspiration, goes to show some of us never slow down else we would whither😂. Y'all have that good flow 👏👏 Blessings from Ontario Canada! ❤
I once heard from an old wood worker that when you sand to open a grain you should work on the piece right away. When it is left to sit over night the grain shuts down a bit. Chandelier is perfect! Your dad must be so proud of how handy his kids are including his adopted son Yanis 😊
Each time I watch Nick and Michael working on the organ I am completely blown away by the fact that this instrument was even conceived in the first place The whole concept of being able to play such beautiful music via a set of pipes which sit upon a wind chest and then bellows allow wind to push into said box is completely beyond my comprehension. How Michael and Nick have managed to put it all back together ensuring that each note is pitched correctly is absolutely astounding The organ itself is a thing of beauty and the putting it back together is a feat of pure knowledge and skill ❤
Greetings again from "The Gateway to the West", USA. This organ assembly has truly been a tall task. Michael & Nick have done a brilliant job and I am in awe of the talent each has. It has been such a joy to watch the genius of these two.
Alex is doing such a marvolous job with the video's... have to say.... The kitchen is looking wonderful each time I see it ... looking better and better every day... And grand use of all that old lathe... and getting the storage room all cleared up as well... The organ is coming along amazingly... Daddy Moon and Michael are doing a fantastic job with such a massive project... dare I say Puzzle... can't wait to hear it play...
What a great pair of workers Yanis and Papa Petherick they are like the Duracell Bunny they just keep going on and on. It's brilliant to see family and friends working so hard together. Very inspirational. Well done all.
I think one of the wooden garden shelves would look great in the kitchen. Maybe an 8 foot length. Use for pots or bulk storage in copper tins. The kitchen looks so beautiful!!! You have all left your mark on it and can be so proud!!
We love you Yanis! Always hard working with a positive approach and eager to learn. Happy to see you are in good hands with this amazing team. Keep your heart pure ❤
The kitchen is looking great. Can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished.Nick and Michael are becoming organ experts.Hearing them talk about it and how it works, shows how that they are experts at this.Add this to their repertoire of things they can do.What can't they do?
I look forward to your videos everyday. The organ reassembly has been amazing! I don’t understand much of the technicalities but feel like I’m gaining a true appreciation of the structure. Love watching Mr. Pethrick and Yanis. Such hard working fellows. As I have previously stated, the kitchen is amazing! Thank you
I think that Gwen is going to love the kitchen when it is finished. She can work in the kitchen and listen to the organ, watch Ernest run around the huge island and just enjoy life. How amazing this is all turning out to be. Gentlemen you all are doing what needs to be done and the work is beautiful. Have an amazing day
I'm insanely jealous of Billy getting to do all that sanding & oiling 😅. I love nothing more than sanding an old, dry, tired piece of wooden furniture/doors etc & bringing it back to something rich, fed & beautiful. Everytime I see footage of the main, grand staircase I itch to work on it 😂
Michael for your own health please wear a mask when blowing out all the dust from the organ pipes as you do breathe in that dust. The lead will stay on your hands till you wash them thoroughly with soap and water. Please make sure not to touch your face, eyes, mouth, or food after you have handled lead as it can get into your system. I used to do leadlight windows and my teacher always stressed these points. You are doing a bloody fantastic job all of you. Billy your kitchen cabinet, is looking beautiful. Ozmo should sponsor you as you use so much of their product and promote it free of charge lol. Keep up the great work everyone love watching all you do. Thank you all so much for sharing.
Great work everyone, just wanted to say with no offence intended, Yanis with his green gloves, looked like a Christmas Elve, helping to deliver the warmth ❤
Really love that you are cleaning and preserving the organ and chapel ceiling. Love the faded grandeur look you are creating. If everything looked stark and new it just wouldn’t be the same. Fantastic work, it has found the right custodians. ❤
This has been quite the adventure, watching you all work. Alex, I hope you get video of the look on Simon's face when he returns and sees the kitchen for the first time. Even if he's watching the videos, I'm sure the first time he's there in person will be pretty impactful.
Fascinating filming and content, always...those Pethericks and their A-Team...wow,wow,wow!!! Magic in motion, audible (with great music today)...Oh, my.!!. Builders, Creators, Movers, Shakers and Magicians.. Spectaculars, yes!!!
I just have to applaud Ennis. His work ethic is so superior to other young men that I have ever seen. What an asset to you and your team! He seems to enjoy the work too!
Billy looks so very happy these days, so much activity and progress with things finally coming together so well; I am so happy for him! The others sem to be enjoying their work as well, what could be better! Billy is definitely his element, and I can hardly wait for the first event at the convent! Hopefully, an organ Christmas carol event! All props to Alex as well! ❤
Great vlog again Billy / Alex. The opening sequence reminds us that the Covent is still big not just the chapel and kitchen. Super looking island now. All looking good. The organ is coming along and plans for tweaking. Stay well you all.
The beautiful chandelier is the perfect scale for a room that large. The island just keeps getting better. This kitchen is Wow right now. It will be over the top when complete.
I'm fascinated by how the organ works. So much I never knew. It's a beautiful instrument inside and out! Thanks so much for restoring her and for bringing us along.
You gotta love Yannis, such a good worker, & a quick learner. I have watched this kitchen from start to finish & the transformation is nothing short of amazing.
These videos are so well made. So well edited and with very beautiful music. I look forward to them every night and sometimes put on old ones again as I work though the day.
I don't think the beautiful chandelier will get "greasy" Michael. You have a great extractor fan over the cooking area and great ventilation. Please don't spray cleaners on the crystals ! Once a year take some time and wipe the crystals with a soft cloth soaked in a mixture of "Dawn blue" dish soap (it has grease cutting properties) and a couple of drops of "sudsy ammonia ". I used to do display work for Antique shops and this method, though time consuming worked very well and no damage to the wiring and metal work. Love the osmo on the kitchen island. Also tell Michael to check out vlogger "The Salisbury Organist" he travels around British Churches playing both pipe organs and pump organs. So knowledgeable about stops and pedals. I'm so impressed with the work the team is doing. Great 👍 work and great attitude 👍 👏 👌
Billy,Michael,Mic,Yanis,Nick, and Alex my holiday elf’s. So good to see the progress taking place on the organ and kitchen. Happy holidays. Looking forward to Michael playing the organ. Until tomorrow. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🙏🌞😇🌹👍❤️🌈🇺🇸🕊🎅🎄☃️
Well Billy I used to run a lighting business and yes that chandelier is certainly a pretty penny!! But worth it all! It’s like accessorizing the ball gown and voila, picture perfect! I am so enjoying your content guys, you all contribute so much to the community you have! Every aspect is top notch! Tx can’t wait to see and hear the organ completed and playing. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦😊👏🏼💕👍🏼
It’s amazing how the original organ builders knew how to do and create this beauty without technology/ computers electrical gadgets craftsmanship right there. Fab that Michael and Nick are able to replicate it. Amazing
It’s so relaxing to watch you osmoing Billy, the chandelier reflects beautifully off it. I’ll miss seeing the organ being rebuilt but look forward to hearing it be played xxx💕💕💕
The scale of your renovation project is truly ambitious, showcasing your dedication and vision. As you transform this large building, envision the positive impact it will have on the community. Your efforts are making a lasting difference!
To a wonderful team❤ "To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue; these five are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness. Confucius
While watching Alex’s footage of the nuns cells, I was thinking rather than the idea Billy had of moving the hallway and increasing suite size. I would rather have the original cells just connected. Say 3 or 4 rooms linked. Entrance/Sitting room, bathroom, bedroom. A larger suite could have 2 bedrooms (Bedroom, Entrance/Sitting room, bathroom, bedroom). You would have the 4 suites, not have to re-engineer walls or water, electric and the hallway would be complaint for folks with mobility issues or for evacuation if needed. Thanks guys, gals and Gwen for all you do making this fun channel possible
I agree, one, two, three and four room suites would work well. I’m sure most folks would love to stay in the redecorated rooms for the atmosphere of staying in a converted convent. I know I would. I don’t think you need to compete with upmarket hotels, just top notch redecorating.
Whatever the price that chandelier cost, it is the crowning glory. Just imagine someone designing it, the glass Crystal's being cut. It's amazing. The vlogs now are wonderful . it all makes my mornings. Thank you Billie and your dream team for entertaining a grandma. WCL
I would LOVE a pantry like that it is huuuge! Imagine all the pickles, chutneys, jam etc and fresh produce you can store. Saves on energy as well. Storing in a cool place and storing it properly is so efficient. Love the chandelier ❤
My dear friends, somehow during the last months, your convent has found a special place in my heart. Thank you for sharing this unique and magical place, I really need to understand how Michael and Nick know how to put the organ back together again. Are you figuring it out as you go, or did you have some knowledge of organ building? To me, the entire project is nothing short of miraculous!
Yet another great video ! ❤ I hate to tell you Billy but I’m already looking forward to the day you start to Osmo that beautiful wooden staircase .😂 I know I may have to wait quite some time 😂 ❤
Billy you are too funny, “The tax man will have to wait, I needed a chandelier “.
Really gave me a chuckle. The kitchen island is lovely and that chandelier is stunning. Perfect!!
Mick and Yannis you’re doing good work too. Will love the garden planting in the Spring. Good job Yannis, you’re a jewel and such a great helper to all the the Petherick s
Nick and Michael I cannot express how much I’ve enjoyed your loving care in putting this organization back together and cleaning as you go… I can not wait to hear it being played by Michael.
Nick your family will be happy to have you home… wishing you a happy holiday with your family. But I’m sure you’ll be back at some point. ❤❤❤

I can’t agree more, an excellent presentation from all concerned. 😊
I completely agree 💯! I don't even care that much for organ music but seeing what's involved is changing that opinion. 😊✌️
People hit the like button. These vlogs deserve far more.
I know it’s amazing the difference between views and likes!
I totally agree!
Thanks for reminder, God bless you dear Fans who participate.

Loving the cinematography Alex. Michael needs ‘“an Alex” so he can post to his channel again. It’s been so lovely seeing more of him lately ❤
He has relaxed and blossomed working with the lovely encouraging Nick.
I fast forward through Michael bits. Still salty about him giving go fund me money for his cottage to some stranger, then asking for more money again. Just lost all respect.

Nick and Michael work well together as a team. They even complete each other sentences. Great job all around.
I have to say your videos of the convent renovations and especially the organ rebuild is FASCINATING! I will never look at a pipe organ with any disregard again. Nick and Michael are doing a great and facilitating job!! 👍
Watch Ben Maton visiting small churches with pipe organs. Like them even more

To get to the actual workings is another level of knowledge.

How amazing it will be when the vegies and fruit from the garden are snug in the pantry again. The pantry shelves look to be in wonderful shape. Thanks to everyone, working so hard.
I think Michael & Billy could explain how dirt is made and I would watch it for hours. So talented in how they know how to fix things. ❤

I love that your pantry is bigger than my house! 😁 You're all doing such beautiful work! Carry on! 🫡😁💖
This has been quite the adventure, watching you all work. Alex, I hope you get video of the look on Simon's face when he returns and sees the kitchen for the first time. Even if he's watching the videos, I'm sure the first time he's there in person will be pretty impactful.
Less than a month and Simon is back.
Fascinating filming and content, always...those Pethericks and their A-Team...wow,wow,wow!!! Magic in motion, audible (with great music today)...Oh, my.!!. Builders, Creators, Movers, Shakers and Magicians.. Spectaculars, yes!!!
❤🎉
Interior, organ dust- could I suggest that you put on an air filter on the air intake to the blower of the Organ !
What an incredible undertaking installing this organ is. Well done. Can't wait to see a concert.
I just have to applaud Ennis. His work ethic is so superior to other young men that I have ever seen. What an asset to you and your team! He seems to enjoy the work too!
Yanis is such a hard worker! He is always helping out with whatever he is asked to do. So enjoyable watching Yanis!!
The kitchen looks great! Beautiful chandelier.
I'm fascinated by how the organ works. So much I never knew. It's a beautiful instrument inside and out! Thanks so much for restoring her and for bringing us along.
The chandelier for the kitchen is a perfect fit, and the kitchen is really starting to look like a kitchen.
Mick and Yanis, Michael and Nick, Billy, total awesomeness. ❤
No worries: 'The Tax Man' is probably a subscriber who puts off his work to watch.
To a wonderful team❤

It’s been so amazing to see and watch the convent renovation from the start!! Billy I admire your commitment and vision and respect for this project ❤
I wonder how many kg of dust they exported from the UK in that organ... 😉
Michael & Nick are such a great team. MIchael's brain is such a wondrous computer!!!
The chandelier looks like it has always been then. What an amazing addition to your beautiful design.
Whatever the price that chandelier cost, it is the crowning glory. Just imagine someone designing it, the glass Crystal's being cut. It's amazing. The vlogs now are wonderful . it all makes my mornings. Thank you Billie and your dream team for entertaining a grandma. WCL
The chandelier is absolutely beautiful. Perfect choice. Stunning!
The kitchen is just stunning ❤🎉 Billy. Nearly done Michael and Nick loved watching. Crack on ❤
The chandeliers have really pulled the rooms together and added a very refine touch!
The way the wood takes on that beautiful Osmo glow is so very satisfying.
The kitchen is beautiful. So proud for u an your family. Organ moving along . Thank u for sharing 😊😊😊
Wow that kitchen is beautiful! And the organ is getting there, those shelves in the pantry are amazing!
Love seeing your Dad being a part of the videos.
osmoing, pressure cleaning the pipes. The copper pipes and wooden dowels ❤ Love it all.
Yet another great video ! ❤ I hate to tell you Billy but I’m already looking forward to the day you start to Osmo that beautiful wooden staircase .😂 I know I may have to wait quite some time 😂 ❤
I love seeing your dad❤
