Señores y señoras esto es música, esto es una canción y el es un cantante de verdad. Vean, escuchen y comparen con lo que hoy tenemos ( salvo honradas excepciones)
Tim Coe He was definitely the best singer of all those New Romantic crooners that came out of England in the late 70's and early 80's. He's a million times better than Ian Curtis.
All four, when together made the band what it was and what we all love still to this day. It’s almost a month since Chris Cross passed away and I’m still struggling to come to terms with it Rest in peace Chris, a scholar, a gentleman and a consummate musician. They have been the soundtrack to my whole life.
@@meredithhopkins1411 What a moronic comment. It's well known that Billy Currie turned down a place in the Royal Academy of Music so he could experiment with composing within a group environment.
They really did Fade to Grey their synths and Keyboards, I remember the Brighton gig and thinking why paint those great instruments grey? Not worth so much now in grey! Or are they? Top band and Billy Rocks that APR!

I've often wondered that - maybe the volume for it wasn't adjusted up enough to match the other two, so he felt the need to beat the living daylights out of those pads ?
The thing is Im quite expressive with my enthusiasm & I do need to let it out. Im aware it would be better try to tame these inclinations of mine tho..it could be misunderstood by some.

Ure's got a fucking amazing voice. No question.

Świetny utwór. Zresztą bardzo ich lubię słuchać do dnia dzisiejszego. Jeszcze ta genialna solówka na perkusji pod koniec piosenki. Majstersztyk.
LMAO that they dressed like the Village People during this phase. Doesn't take away from the brilliance. Always loved UV!
Glad u said that .. never seen this live version before but Billy looks mental and Chris looks like an extra from Police Academy's Blue Oyster Bar...
this beautiful voice...
THE VOICE!!! Ultravox forever❤
Billy fuckin Currie!! 👌🏼🙌🏼
Ultravox is the greatest band.....ever and Midge Ure is the reason why!!! What a fantastic voice and he's still got it!!!
Too basic for my taste!!😅
I prefer Talk Talk to them and ALL the rest of those UK bands.
@@meredithhopkins1411 What a moronic comment. It's well known that Billy Currie turned down a place in the Royal Academy of Music so he could experiment with composing within a group environment.
Ultravox is basic and you prefer talk talk...😂
RIP Chris!❤❤❤
Such a gentleman, Chris may be gone but will be remembered 💜
Always hoped for one more tour!👍
Me encantan ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Freaking qeesome band, my teenage years, the best of all times
Billy Currie was the heart and soul of UV along side John Foxx.
That is 50% accurate
No midge no ultravox he is the voice of ultravox
Con la musica de hoy esto no se compara q genio Midge Ure
They really did Fade to Grey their synths and Keyboards, I remember the Brighton gig and thinking why paint those great instruments grey?
Not worth so much now in grey!
Or are they?
Top band and Billy Rocks that APR!

super Qualität. Danke für's hochladen. Geile Mucke.
Native these words seem to me
All speech directed to me
I've heard them once before
I know that feeling
Stranger emotions in mind
Changing the contours I find
I've seen them once before
Someone cries to me
the look and the sound of the voice
(Oh-oh-oh-oh) they try, they try
(Oh-oh-oh-oh) the shape and the power of the voice
(Oh-oh-oh-oh) in strong low tones
Forceful and twisting again
Wasting the perfect remains
I've felt it once before
Slipping over me

Wow!
why Chris aggressively smashing the drumpad
I've often wondered that - maybe the volume for it wasn't adjusted up enough to match the other two, so he felt the need to beat the living daylights out of those pads ?

They should have put a Synth bass line on the melody Unfortunately they missed ! it The song is good but a lacks of bassline
I mean a moog bassline
3:55 and 4:07 What is the name of this man ??
That's Chris Evans with his hair frosted sexy high.
He just took a punch from Iron Man, which explains the bandage.
Colin King, off a Scottish band called The Messengers who toured with Ultravox. Cute guy, eh?
Edward Norton is that you?
lol yeah before hulk
Midge Ure has a beautiful voice. But ultravox music is just too basic for my taste. I can't really listen to most of their music.
