Nice video again. You could try a coat of primer filler to identity and sand back those cracks even more, like they do on cars. It would be good to see more of the painting process, and some different colours. Good job as always.
Good job with the repair on that laptop! This is one where I probably would have gone with the 16GB RAM, rather than 8GB...but then again I'd have replaced the top case anyway, regardless of cost. Looking forward to the next one!
@@FerdhianAkbar Yep just found it in the Alienware M15x video. Thanks for the redirect. For anyone else that's curious this is how I interpreted the directions. In short once you have a base layer spray with very light pressure to make larger drops, and do lots of quick passes let the layer dry and do it again and let the drops layer up. That's it.
You should also get into restoring old android and Nokia phones. They can still be used as good handheld emulation devices. Also get into diy projects, where you make stuff from scratch.
what are you doing with all these laptops? i have several, very well maintained and upgraded and i can't get rid of them. it seems nobody wants them even for free.
Considering you mentioned that this laptop has AMD video card, and also Windows 10 is ending next year. I am interested in seeing, how would it do on Linux? Since my couple failed attempts and when I get to it, I also have an Intel NUC that won't support Windows 11. I still want to explore Linux distros myself as well (even though I am cursed.... please don't ask....). I am now currently on Linux Mint with Cinnamon desktop environment but I think it's pushing the Intel HD 500 little too hard. Would be interesting to see your take in Linux for older machines as well.
I have an Asus laptop with a 1366x768 display. I know there are other models in the same series with 1920x1080 displays. Is it possible to upgrade my display to 1920x1080 assuming both displays have the same connector type and pinout?
Yo I have been watching you from a long time, I can't even remember anymore, I think maybe I am watching you from COVID, so nevermind my question is - "WHEN IS YOUR PS5 REPAIR AND MOD VIDEO COMINGGGGG"
you should have debloated that windows 10 installation, there are guides here in youtube so that 8gb ram should've been enought if you remove the bloatwares
I definitely prefer not having music in the background - it helps me focus on your work. Nicely done!
Totally agree!
I agree with u boss
This works until you become a genius like andrew
Agree

It's like ultrasonic cleaning, it removes also finest dirt residuals.
Very nice! I fixed a 2012 Thinkpad this week and I thought of you and all the inspiration you give us. 😊

At least what the name of that technique is so we can look it up elsewhere. Been wondering myself.

Maybe paint the crack line on the case with white paint to make it look like a lightning bolt? With the black background it would look really cool!
Not bad at all.
I always enjoy your restorations man! (What is the brand of the green jumper? Looks cool!)
Should have use a Carbon Vynils sticker to cover the whole laptop case
3:55 Toothbrush cleans good! Dry!
The chair noise at 2:15 LOL
Yes, I know, I'm a child...
Jak zawsze świetny film i dobra robota 😊
Hey man !
You should try to repair a Fat PS3. I've heard those consoles have a yellow light of death error.
Thanks for your video, what kind of glue do you use to fix the case?
underneath the cpu sticker is actually a easter egg intel added!
Another nice video😊
great job as usual 💕
in your opinion , what is the best thermal paste right now in the market ?

Very cool, cat.
Hey andrew can you please make a video about installing ubuntu on laptop from 2010 or older? Windowa dont work well on these models
现在很多youtuber清洁主板和风扇的时候,都使用类似WD40那种专用的压力罐装清洁剂了
2:15 bro really farted in a laptop restoration video
that's a chair squeaking

@Cat and Andrew would you be willing to repair my windows tablet it just needs thermal paste replacement
Hello Andrew, could you add some background music like you used to do.
you can use plastic welding gun on that crack case
Why not showcasing any games? Usually theres some gameplay if that laptop got gpu.

This painting has lost its charm. Always the same...
I see what you mean. I get why he does texture though, to try and mask the damage. At least another colour would make a difference
