I was thinking about those. Basically salvaged stair ship engines with a chariot strapped to them.
Mando's N1 Starfighter reminded me of a Shelby Cobra with a supercharger sticking out of the hood.

Well….Slave 2 was a toaster with one wing. And I’ll never forgive them for putting the third gun on the E-wing on the canopy instead of under the nose. But the Howlrunner, A-9, cloakshape V-wing airspeeder were all pretty cool. The Eclipse showed us what a Super Star Destroyer was supposed to be: a chonk with a big friggin laser.
So many are just space equivalent of car culture. Rat rods, muscle cars with engine swaps, economy cars with big turbos taken off old diesel trucks, sporty roadsters stripped down for racing, and your favorite Toyota pickup with a machine gun mounted to the bed and sent to war.
Wonder what the millennium falcon would be equivalent to for earth vehicles? 350 quad cab? Mack truck with sleeper cab? Winnebago with Nitrous boost?
A 80s econoline with a 460 4bbl, or better, à coyote engine swapped in.
Edit: Name any similar vehicle with the biggest engine you can put in.

Y wings are tacoma technicals, x wings are a Porsche 911, and the millennium falcon is a GMC syclone with a bunch of mods

For those curious about the Millennium Falcon's cameo in Revenge of the Sith, during the Clone Wars, the ship was owned by two smugglers who were hired to go to Coruscant (after Grievous's attack on the planet) to receive from a political group loyal to the democratic principles of the Republic and aware of Palpatine's dictatorial intentions the task of going to Toprawa to collect an important object. However, after Armand Isard's forces irreparably damage the ship, both smugglers are forced to board the escape pods to save their lives. However, the ship rolled just after the capsules were fired, and the capsules crashed into the hull, killing one of the smugglers and leaving the other in a coma for 60 years. The smuggler's luck was not with them that day, was it? 😅
I always wondered how many parsecs per gallon ships got.
That honestly works really well with the fact parsers are actually actually a measurement of distance.
If you are a fan of the Millenium Falcon, I highly recommend reading the novel "Millenium Falcon", written by the great James Luceno in 2009. In this novel, Han, Leia and their granddaughter Allana decide during their vacations to find the former owners of the Falcon and learn about their adventures with the ship, while an old smuggler who was in possession of the Falcon during the events of Revenge of Sith, after awakening from a coma, sets out to find the ship to help him complete his unfinished last task. Also, we see at the beginning of the book the birth of the Falcon in the year 60 BBY, being a curious tribute to the opening of the movie Christine. It's not a very exciting book, but you will have a good time reading it.

So there's no real point in even trying to wonder how much pollutants an Executor would put into an atmosphere because it just defies all laws of science to begin with

How could you not mention Knights of Ren’s ship? That’s literally the equivalent of a diesel truck rolling coal everywhere belching black smoke as it goes anywhere and it seems to be running perfectly so they’re literally doing it just to be aholes

It's quite ridiculous that the Millennium Falcon, a very complex ship, was easily piloted by Rey in her first try. And before anyone says "She mentioned that she had previously flown small ships without leaving Jakku", that's like saying that by knowing how to fly a plane you can perfectly use a spaceship.
Yeah, and the worst part is that Rey tells Han Solo how to repair the Falcon and its modifications... in hyperspace.
Han Solo installed the mods, he knows them perfectly, and a random scavenger tells him how to repair his own ship

You forgot one of the worst offenders. Night Buzzard, the Oubliette class prisoner transport used by the Knights of Ren. The only thing belting out more emissions than that thing is me after eating Taco Bell.

My Gozante runs on space Coal. Had to jettison the reactor on Endor. Made a huge mess. Who knew the Ewoks were endangered? Not me.

The Death Star after someone forgot to put the gas cap back on. The station itself is fine, maybe, but man the fumes blasting out of that port were no joke. Imagine the loss in light-years per teralitre. Thing needs to get a locking cap or something.

The Falcon was already 75 years old, and it's 2 different type of YT-1300s (YT-1300F &YT-1300P) welded together, making it a rare YT-1300FP. Is a Mandalorian deathseeder a ugly? It's a TIE cockpit with X-Wing wings. 6 blasters and crazy maneuverability.
How about the Knights of Ren's "Night Buzzard"... an Oubliette-class transport. The Knights removed its baffles to increase its thrust...which is why you see is spewing out smoke in "The Rise of Skywalker".
Call me crazy but the X-Ceptor looks absolutely beautiful to me, it just needs a uniform paintjob & extra bracing for the foils to the fuselage.
I'd honestly call that my fantasy hotrod for the star wars universe.

I've often wondered about the disadvantages of the Twin Ion Engines used in Sienar Fleet Systems TIE fighter lineup. Most of the verbiage I've heard about this engine is positive, simple & inexpensive, few moving parts ect... Why is it that we NEVER see this engine in any ship that wasn't produced by Sienar? Did Raith Sienar have some special deal with the Emperor that gave his ships the exclusive right to use this engine? Did this engine have certain limitations, that made it unsuitable for any ship heavier than a TIE Bomber? Were they the space faring equivalent of a two stroke engine? Cheap, with a good power to weight ratio but temperamental and prone to break down? I'm assuming that there is a reason that this powerplant was never scaled up for use in light freighters, and never seen on any inexpensive personal space transport craft that I know of. What is that reason?

Every organization has them on the tax books or off the books black ops projects. Get one of these in the right solar system and after a couple of decades you have a fleet of ships equip with about anything your material printers can put together. They go out with colony ships.
Just remember, warships are just cargo ships with extra armor and weapons. Even a cargo ship carrying 3,000tones of cargo becomes a mass kinetic missile at speed.
In one Star Wars novel from the 1990's played around with a rebel pilot that was from an asteroid mining colony that created a med size hollow asteroid base with a multiple mile fish farm for exporting " exotic " high class fish. Other people's luxury food is their common fare. It was strait out of a late 1970's junior high school science book. Updated to young adult space fantasy.

The world devastator was just a more efficient version of the Star Forge. You eat a massive rock planet that isn’t someone’s moon and you plant the ship down on a living or otherwise habitable planet and build/rebuild a model city from scratch.
P.S. I think the N-1 is based on a U.S. Air Force design for a manned turbo rocket that drops nukes. Which actually is what they do. They launch Proton torpedoes which are thermonuclear weapons the size of my sister’s Maltese.

I never understood what's the deal with the CR-90. I mean, why pay to maintain 11 engines when i can probably get the same or better thrust and acceleration with maybe 2 or 3 bigger engines. The CR-90 seams to be a ground technician waking nightmare, many of those engines are inaccessible. Idk, i don't endorse what the empire stands for, but i do support their ship's engineering.

@@verttikoo2052 The death star very likely had on board sewage treatment plants to recycle water. Water is a commodity in space. The same applies to the SW universe and therefore, don't see it being any different.

Well had we had the real progression of starwars we would have had world devastators but being we are still under the BS kennedy star wars we technically don't as these are legends and never happened.
