Yeah. A navy destroyer is as wide, but longer and crews 350-ish. They weigh about 8000 tons, so you're not fitting much cargo unless you use the bunks and have the crew sleep outside. Doesn't translate well to space.
Agree. This over crewing figures seems to happen with lots of ships. Take an isd, told of 1000,s of crew and troops but where do they all fit in?!! Look at an inside view that ship is fairly full with reactors and engines and hangers etc
Agreed but i always figured any ship borne weapons {so even these escape pod mounted ones} need to be tied into the ship's engines/reactor. Unlike handheld blasters with a replaceable power cells. So once the pod deployed, it wouldn't be able to fire any significantly powerful shots without eating into the emergency power reserves that would be needed for pod's life support and emergency manuerving thrusters
I still think the Original Star Wars Novel filled in the Unknown better than George. It had Owen Larrs as Ben Kenobi's brother, that's the ENTIRE reason Luke ended up in Tattooine, just imagine the Prequels now!
You know, with everything so expensive From ships to speeders in Star Wars I got a wonder What Paychecks are like. is like one credit worth a thousand dollars

Was branded Legends by Disney, that is all. They didn’t change Canon to Legends.
You completly got the Escape Pods wrong. The Escape pods are the 4 Bumps along the vessels flanks, each of which has a small turbolaser atop it. The Center line turrent which projects above and below the ship is no detatchable, though it is likely modular allowing alternative weapons. But laser canons are not the stock configuration, it's all turbo-lasers, all be it light ones, do not confuse them for laser-cannons. Rather sloppy research and amaturishp video if you ask me, you should take it down and not contribute to misinforming people.

it is not like any of this is clear 100% but I would be less wrong, as it is stated that the CR70 has 2 High-capacity escape pods mimicking turrets, and there are the 4 you mentioned on the sides. I would take that to mean there are 4 normal and 2 high capacity being faux turrets as shown here i.pinimg.com/originals/20/9d/c6/209dc60e00b3181831cf4a85a4a559b1.jpg

You will see in the books, that there is Grey Jedis and you will remember, Qui Gon Jinn is saying we need balance in the force, and his master Count Dooku wasn't evil but try to balance the two, and now we got the Merrin, from jedi survivor being a dark force user , but a good guy. and we have to see where Ashoka goes, because remember, she realize Jedi's aren't really good, and left , and knew Darth maul has a point. I was hoping that we find out the villains of Ashoka are really grey Jedis who seek balance. also , remember Anakin is teaching Ashoka from the dead, and he is switching back and forth from his dark and light side, and in the end, Ashoka flashed some dark side attributes, and then we got the whole father and the son and daughter. The father is the good guy and wants balance, we need to ask what is the mother, since, the daughter is light, and son is dark. I say the mother is the imbalance.
Oh and my go to. The opposite of hate is not love, but indifference. The Jedi is against strong attachment, aka love, and disapprove of marriage. That means Love, or more precisely passion is a dark side attribute, but can you say love is an evil thing.
oK love of Padme led Anakin to the dark side, but love of his son, redeemed him.
@@slewone4905 His Ex-Wife. Yes, Marcia Lucas is what made the Original 1977 Classic a Classic, and Irvin Kershner going $5 million over budget was the price of ESB being the best of the 3, & that one Producer whose name I don't recall, who didn't see the thrill of a 2nd Death Star & teddy bear Wookies. And Your connect with LOVE is true in 1983 ROTJ as the Final Words Spoken: CELEBRATE THE LOVE. Yet these words have virtually been erased in the every Official Cut since the Special Edition. Actions speak Louder than words. So put that in your pipe...
Attempt #2: Hey MetaNerdz Lore, Please upload videos about The COMPLETE Life Story (Canon & Legends) of Luke Skywalker as soon as possible, I’m anxious to learn about the story of Legend continuity Luke Skywalker after Return of the Jedi.🙏🥺🤞
So many Thrusters!!!
Would like to buy one pls
I gotta admit if i was in star wars id definitely use a cr90 or 70 but would also be content with a GR75 and mod the crap outa them all
It’s like what would happen if you mounted a whole lotta firepower on a Boeing 747
Can you do ATST
imagine a venator chasing a cr70 in atmosphere hahaha
So is it a bit strange that a Boeing 747 is faster then alot of ships in star wars. 🤔
uh, only Naboo fighters are aerodynamic. well , the strikers are suppose to be .
There's no way that thing can fit 780 people and 5t tons of cargo
@@stuart69220 Maybe they stack the passengers and crew like those Japanese coffin hotel rooms. Only the ones on duty get to be out of their pods. Lol.
The escape pods would have been more impressive if those cannons worked. This would give them the ability to defend themselves once launched.
Why is there not a single comment correcting the title of the video, in empire at war the sundered heart is the Tantive IV not 3
I still think the Original Star Wars Novel filled in the Unknown better than George. It had Owen Larrs as Ben Kenobi's brother, that's the ENTIRE reason Luke ended up in Tattooine, just imagine the Prequels now!
This machine shreds TIE fighters
The working man's ship manufacturer.
"tan-ti-vee" rolls off the tongue better than "tan-tiv"
Pretty chunky until the hull gives out
Tan-Tiv-Ve
You know, with everything so expensive From ships to speeders in Star Wars I got a wonder What Paychecks are like. is like one credit worth a thousand dollars
The old Extended Universe or E.U. Was never Canon to Lucas. The only Canon to him were his 6 live action movies and the animated movie that went with the Clone Wars series and of course the Clone Wars series itself. E.U. Was branded Legends by Disney, that is all. They didn’t change Canon to Legends.
So overpowered in vanilla Empire at War lol thing absolutely annihilates TIEs.
Only 590mph? Should be way faster than a ship the size of a Venator
I feel dumb, I always thought it was the Tantive IV instead of III. 😢
They are two separate ships, the one in a new hope is the tantive IV
@@leonrussell9607 Ahhhh ok, thanks for explaining!
Wibbly Wobbly, Conty Nuity.
am i lucky if i was like 888
You're right tantivee sounds silly
It's pronounced Tan Tee Vee. Why do people keep saying Tan Teeve? The name was introduced in the Radio adaptation listen to it.
Rather sloppy research and amaturishp video if you ask me, you should take it down and not contribute to misinforming people.
lol what a response, peace be with you. You are wrong. google "cr70 schematic star wars" there is one that has the blockade runner and the CR70 Sundered Heart on top. Even if I was wrong what a silly way to act. Feel better. I'll try to comment with the link idk if YT will let me
it is not like any of this is clear 100% but I would be less wrong, as it is stated that the CR70 has 2 High-capacity escape pods mimicking turrets, and there are the 4 you mentioned on the sides. I would take that to mean there are 4 normal and 2 high capacity being faux turrets as shown here

For the 300th time dude!🤣
It's pronounced [Tan tee Vee] or [Tan tah Vee].
I have a special hatred for people who pronounce it Tan Tee Vee.
snerk. Spiced ewok Jerky. lol
Nothing disney makes is canonical.
