@@Coffincomfortsranked lol If anything i am a maiden I have a support faith/dex build I use to help people with bosses. I’ve been told it’s more fun because they still get a challenging fight while getting enough of a nudge to win. I guess it’s not fun to have someone else come in and just steam roll the fight for you lol which, fair.
He’s easy, you just have to get the tear for your physick that allows you to not take damage during his second phase switch.
Start Mohging all over the place so that the human eggman can come out
Forget about this dlc. Find the Albinauric woman. She hides in a cave to the west of the Laskyar Ruins which jut from the mist-shrouded lake of Liurnia, She knows the location of the medallion's counterpart, I am sure.

So it was indeed miquella's egg that would see us travel to the dlc, no surprises there. However it seems it is the blind swordsman that transports us into this "world of shadows", I say that because of that red woman fighting with the blind swordsman sword moveset, and we've never heard this voice actor. Interesting choice, J wonder how impactful she will be

The blind swordsman was Malenia's teacher, and that glowing golden figure looking up at the "erdtree" in the ending looked to possibly malenia

He is likely a descendant of Radagon or rykard.
Probably not the final boss, but must be pretty important for the plot, since he's the '' mascot '' of this dlc.
Thinking the same as you. He’s going to be the Malenia of the dlc. Hard as fuck and not optional to beat the story, similar to Dark eater Midir

Somewhere near Elphael, "he" hears his name rings again. Countless times "he" has helped fellow tarnished in The Lands Between. "He" will draw his blades once more, having their legend grow brighter than the Erdtree. He will "solo" yet another foe, to bring them to his knees as he has done to Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

Before the end I thought mesmer was miquella, an odd choice to make an unknown character the main antagonist of this dlc when we have so many contenders, but we let them cook so I'll trust swamp daddy on that one
Yeah the addition of his character really made it seem like a completely different game.. A much darker one at that but it looks like they put crazy amounts of effort into it
y'all acting as if any of ds3 or ds2 bosses were even somewhat relevant in the base game lol as usual from has cooked a good dlc. Only pair of things i'd like to know is if it has enough content and if its truly 2dlc in 1 so we'll have a non linear story structure that could lead to various different endings both in dlc and in main game (i doubt they'll add main game endings but still)

Its not the first time they add a unknown character as the main antagonist, but the unknown characters never dissapoint, i have Faith that messmer would have an amazing lore and amazing fight
I still think it is going to be Miquella, like after he was corrupted by Moghs blood he took that "personality" and qe got beat his ass to make him awake and normal again. Miquella was always the "most feardome empirium" after all...
And also, he may could have gone to the "dark lands between" in his normal and young form, and lost control after Mogh took his cocoon, being trapped in his sleep as another person. The trailer was fire too 🔥

@@lDoxology just make a new character g, get them all the way to mohg and leave em there. If the dlc is scaled for endgame (which it will be because it looks like you access it after mohg) those bosses are gonna be one tapping you

100%. In some fromsoft games you can even access the DLC as early as midgame.
