Marika may manipulated Ranni into killing godwyn by sending her 2 fingers to the stars. Ranni was originally gonna use the death rune on her fingers but chose godwyn when Marika took them. The Erdtree had stopped giving life because it needed death for that to happen. Marika found out that removing death from the lands between was the problem. Marika thought that if they killed an immortal demigod and buried them under the Erdtree, it would reincorporate death into the Erdtree's lifecycle. The plan backfired because nobody expected only godwyn's soul would die, his body just ended up infecting the Erdtree. Marika was distraught and shattered the elden ring.
I have never played a game like Elden Ring before. It made me so alive, furstrated , excited, challenged and it remind me what was like to play a video game when i was young , a feeling i didn't know i missed for over 20 years.

I wish we could've seen more cinematic scenes from the Shattering, especially the seige of Lyndell. It's just so cool to look at, and it brings back fond memories of watching "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" for the first time, and the scenes of the Seige of Minas Tirith.

One of the best games I have ever played, and one of the most cinematic and surreal experiences I have ever had. To anyone considering buying this game, do it if you’re willing to commit yourself to one of the most colossal games ever. The game is massive, and very challenging.
@@mikeb4588 took me 140 hours to complete. And that’s because I actually did exploring instead of just going through the main bosses right away and looking up guides to everything in the game. I actually tried to learn things on my own.

And every time I explored I’d find something awesome, and I probably haven’t even found everything yet. Idk what’s so upsetting about that to you lmao
It's too complex, the game has been out 2 years and still none of the players fully know wtf is going on, there's no way the story could be told as a movie or show without just being hours and hours of lore exposition

Radahn and Malenia being not only two of the strongest Demigods to ever live, but the last two still standing during the shattering is crazy to me. And it really shows when you fight them. No bosses intimidated me more than those two. Radahn for his size and power, and Malenia solely due to the fact she fought Radahn to a standstill and LIVED.
As a new player who loves malenia’s OST’s the way both of them come on gives me chills every time perfect coinciding with their respective scenes ☝️🙂↕️

He did, Malenia had to use a failsafe just so she could get away, her going into a coma and Radahn becoming a zombie. If she didn’t unleash the rot she would have lost and even unleashing it she didn’t win.

Malenia was able to bloom and use the rot in her fight with the tarnished because she had already bloomed at least once before and had no needle suppressing the rot, she essentially succumbed to the rot in a last effort to beat us. If she was able to do that against Radahn, arguably she would have won outright yes, but she didn’t, she passed our straight after blooming and unleashing the rot. Her soldiers having to carry her and flee from the battle. Radahn did lose his mind but that only happened after the fight ended, he was still able to fight after first being afflicted with rot.
I still can’t believe I beat this game it took months. It’s tough though because now anything else is lukewarm and boring. I put the sticks down to decompress I think about running through this game one more time. It was amazing.
could you imagine if the game opened with a proper cinematic like this, and rannis quest was fleshed out just a bit more as the main story, could you imagine how beautiful it would be narratively
Malenia and Radahn are supposed to be some of the hardest bosses, but for me Mogh was the hardest, but that was probably because I fought him fairly early in the game, I had to grind for at least ten hours to level up to a point where I was able to beat him.
The game has invasions if the other player is doing coop and there is an arena mode you can access via statue at the main hub. You can also put down a duel sign in places where the community gathers for impromptu fight clubs.
@@martinfischer277 Arena mode is a good time but it wont sell you on the game by itself if you arent feeling the pve. All pvp in the game is matched to a level range with a little bit of scaling.
