The fact that she was making plans with a friend does not preclude a suicide. My mother had a friend that was talking with her sister-in-law on the phone about a wedding they were to attend that afternoon. She suddenly put the down the phone and her sister-in-law heard a gunshot. It happened that quickly and with no warning. Absolutely devastating.

      Romans 6.23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If he was found in a river, its not as strange tbh, Especially if it was spring time. Debris in the water streams tend to clog them throughout the autumn and winter seasons (ice helps them stack up) and once spring comes and the streams start overflowing the debris dams get cleared and things that got stuck in them, would start flowing to the surface. There was a very famous case of a student that went missing for half an year, and an online sleuth made a theory that he drowned and got stuck in a natural river damn that was iced up. He went there and found him in matter of hours if not less.

This disappearance is unfortunate, there are not that many disappearances in the UK, it's kinda rare. Most likely cause they would actually turn things upside down till they find the person. Ok, it happens sometimes as does here and there elsewhere. It's funny you mention 411 and you think this is a classic 411 case, I actually do believe people do disappear in the US, the numbers are probably quite high, enough to alarm any country, had this been happening to the UK or anywhere else, let's just say things would move, yet US gov reactions have been weird, despite the oddities, despite the numbers, as if they try to keep things secret. I just find this strange. I find a lot of things strange. They have a zoo of people over there, from all over the place, I only describe it as such cause I believe the utopia is fake, a front, a facade, they don't give a toss for their own people, and there are hidden truths beneath all this false utopia, who are scary. Also their attitude towards human life is not exactly stellar, as evident by their foreign actions, i don't know. Then, they do also have concentration camps, Nazi style, they are still open to this day, and from what people hear, several countries have been accomplices to US black flights and people abductions on the guise of terrorism. Something is not right. I don't think those US park disappearances are fake, and there is a supernatural element to them. Then you have all sorts of weirdness happening mostly in the US, such as UFOs and other related or unrelated supernatural phenomena, who again the US gov tries to keep everything a secret. Sure, you get the odd UFO story in Europe, but there aren't that many compared to the US, nowhere near the numbers. Why would that be? There is something not quite right with the US. I realise they are really good at fabricating lies and stories, though I think all those are actually true stories, or there are several elements of truth, despite maybe people's interpretations, fair enough they might not be always accurate, but most would have no reason to lie. There is something not right. The UK needs to turn things upside down and find out all about those supposed crop circle pranksters as they tried to excuse those things on TV, there were UK gov people involved in this, it's in their interest to find them and find out the reasons for this. If you think I'm all over the place with unrelated things, I don't think any of those is unrelated. The UK should be extremely wary of the US, no matter if they work together and co-operate, and no matter how close special friends and allies they are to the US.

She could have turned the phone up because she had a bad connection and she could have gone into the river because she had seen something floating in in that made her react or somebody could have come uo behind her and ended her life. I don’t know if it’s the same for other bodies of water. Brain fog from menopause symptoms may have made that more likely. I don’t know, just suggesting some reasons an accident may be plausible.

Police stated that Nicola had no mental health issues, but that was untrue. Nicola was having some issues with her mental well-being as she was in the early stages of Menopause.
Police had been called to her home on one occasion a few weeks before her disappearance.
The reason the police told the media that she had no mental health issues was at the request of Nicola's family, they did not want it disclosed to the public.
Sometimes, the family just want to have some privacy for their loved one, but also revealing that the missing person may have been having a mental breakdown can actually cause members of the public to lose interest in looking for the missing person.
The reason behind the huge response from police in terms of searching for Nicola is because of certain high-risk factors - e.g. has had mental health episodes before or concern that she may harm herself.
I don't want anyone taking this the wrong way. I'm not saying Nicola had mental health issues as such, but Menopause can have a certain effect on the brain's chemical balance, and people can have just really bad days where they're not doing so well. It doesn't mean she was mentally ill or anything.
I think we just need to remember there are real people behind what happened in this case and we need to respect the family, Nicola's husband and children, her sister, her parents...
This is all still very fresh. It's been little over a year since this happened.
So let's just remember the pain Nicola's family are still in and be a little more sensitive to the fact this isn't just some fun Internet mystery that involves something paranormal or anything mysterious...
It's a tragedy that could happen to any one of us here. Just think if it was your family member.
I hope Nicola is at peace and her family have closure. It doesn't matter if the public had an explanation for what happened to her. We aren't owed an explanation. Nicola's family and kids are what really matter.

Rebecca Smith said that because nothing was seen on the CCTV Camera going through the Locked gate, that Keith was mistaken? Penny Fletcher's Son was responsible for that CCTV Camera. Paul Ansell is an Engineer, who could tamper with a CCTV Camera as his his friend who works for CCTV. A Rowan water resident said That Gate Camera had been turned off. From Day One when Rebecca Smith took over the case on day three, she was running with the narrative Nicola had fallen into the River. I am 100% convinced the Police are covering something up, and Nicola was murdered. Nicolas body was full of huge bruises. I am curious as to who the person is that was in Police protective custody. Paul Ansells Cousin Tim Barnes owns the abandoned Mansion , where a You tuber was seen Filming while checking out a very foul smell coming from the yard at the Mansion. I wonder why no one thought that maybe she raised the volume on her work call (assuming it was on speaker) to indicate to a potential third party that she was in contact with other people whilst sitting alone? Raising the volume of a call on speaker is something a lot of people, particularly women, will do as a passive "warning" to someone that's making them feel uncomfortable, it's a way of saying "I'm not alone right now" without having to engage with that person. However, like the case of Aya Maasarwe, it doesn't always deter someone from attacking them.

A fascinating and terrifying case, akin to many of the Missing 411 cases. *I am personally very skeptical about her death being the result of "falling in the water".* We have to remember that she was fully clothed if she fell in, and this was an able bodied woman. People don't just go into water and die instantly, unless the water is absolutely freezing, and they die of shock. I can't imagine why Nicola Bulley would not simply swim back out again, and pull herself back out, if she accidentally slipped in. As a kid, I once jumped into outside water, wearing just swimming trunks. The water was very cold, I was in shock and my skin turned blue, but I still managed to swim out again.

When you fall into cold water you involuntarily inhale. If underwater, just two inhales fills your lungs resulting in unconsciousness in less than one minute.
If you are not recovered, you die. All of this is in complete silence, no shouting like it is on the films. A cold, quick, silent, death.
