    Hey all,
    I unfortunately didn't quite have time to make the video I wanted to make this week, so I'm going to make it next week instead, and in it's place this compilation for today. As said in the last video, if it's a good fit, I'm going to be in the next one as I haven't done one like that in quite some time.
    Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe

      I've got a missing person story no one's helping me with. My partner went missing 5 months ago.
      Mark James left Burnley, Lancashire, UK on 9 October to go on a month long holiday toThailand with a connecting flight in Jeddah. He told me he'd ring me from his hotel in Thailand when he got there. I never got a phone call or any contact and couldn't get an answer as to if he'd checked in or not. I assumed he'd lost his phone. I rang hospitals here to see if he'd had an accident and not caught the plane. When Mark failed to return from Thailand, I reported him missing to Burnley police on 12 November. After 6 days they told me to ring the FCDO.
      Mark's alcohol dependent and due to being unable to obtain any alcohol on Saudi Airlines he went into withdrawal and was hospitalised at King Abdullah Medical Complex on 10 October. He was visited by the British Consul on 16 October but was "asleep or unconscious", then visited again on 18 October where he "appeared lucid and could talk about his situation". Mark said he didn't have his phone.
      The Consul had attempted to email me using a wrong email address but couldn't be bothered to write to me.
      They said Mark was due to be discharged on 19 October but had absconded, first they said on the 18th Or 19th then they said 19th. He's meant to have took his backpack which had nothing but phone gear in it and they don't know if he had his suitcase or not as the airline was meant to return it from Thailand.
      The hospital had taken Mark's passport and he hasn't used his bank card since the day before he left Burnley. He took £500 worth of Thai Baht with him but I don't know if he had it. If he hasn't used his card, maybe the hospital took his phone, bank card cash.
      I've been asking for many months now for either the FCDO or police to find out from the Saudi police if there was CCTV of Mark leaving the hospital and if the hospital have his bank card, cash and phone. If they have his bank card that explains why he hasn't used it. For some reason they both refuse to find out the answers to these simple questions. My MP hasn't helped me get answers either. I don't even know what if anything's been done to find him.
      Mark didn't get any travel insurance so I ask the FCDO if he could've been detained for an unpaid medical bill or if he's been arrested and they keep saying they'd know but they haven't actually checked.
      They said there's a warrant for his arrest because he's overstayed his emergency visa and they'll deport him immediately if he's found.
      I can't understand why they won't ask about CCTV and his card, cash and phone. They could just say there's no cctvis there is none and no to them having his stuff if they don't ,but the FCDO refuse to even ask them.

    I have a patch of woods behind my house. In spring and summer, you can't see twenty feet into the woods if you're standing on the edge of my yard. Only later in the fall, after the leaves are off the trees, can you see very far. But in autumn, leaves cover the ground and hide anything that might be there. It would be very easy to walk right by someone or something and never see them if they're just a few feet off the trail.

    To anyone who might read this, Time is of the essense during missing persons searches, if a loved one or freind goes missing unintentionally DO NOT WAIT to call police, sometimes people are afraid to call police because they are afraid to be wrong, but better to be wrong and have them not actually missing, then to wait to call and lose PRECIOUS TIME PLZ DONNT MAKE THAT MISTAKE, like my family did plz....... 😢😮

      You think thats crazy there was two hunters in nahani national park in Canada that went hunting at a remote cabin and they found the cabin with all their gear in it. The best part was the cabin was locked from the inside and when the owner of the cabin came to unlock the cabin there was bullet holes all shot from the inside out like strange areas too. Like the walls the ground and the ceiling like something might have been trying to get in to the cabin and they were shooting through the walls to prevent it from entering. They found the two hunters miles apart one was floating 12 miles or maybe kilometers down stream and the other hunter was found in thick brush and bushes in the woods in a hard to reach area and the people that found him said his arms were burned and they couldn’t make out how he died by looking at him because he was starting to decompose so they put “died of exposure” on the death certificate. Its just weird and years before they found two dead prospectors that were burned while sleeping in their little camp. The report said their rifles were in hands reach and they had strange looks on their faces like they were terrified. That nahani valley place they call headless valley is a sketchy ass area the Natives didn’t go there because they said it was cursed. When the case happened with hunters in the early 2000s the Canadian government didn’t even find it suspicious they just closed the case and said it was probably an accident lol guns shots and bullet casings everywhere dudes arms charred to shit with the rest of the body unidentifiable but it was just an accident lol

      Yeah, I'm thinking she must have been having an affair or something.
      Maybe she went off with another man, thought they'd run away together, and when it didn't happen, she came back and tried to hide where she had been.
      It was the 50's and she was a white woman, maybe she was seeing a black guy and trying to protect him from any discrimination in the law of whatever state she lived in?
      I'm really just thinking out loud though, I have no idea.

    A twoish year old is incredibly small. Maybe just barely 2 feet long. And they can actually crawl/walk long distances.
    Also amateur searchers tend to end up working in a very ineffective way. The urgency of someone being missing, can lead to people getting impatient if they feel like there isn't anything nearby and if they don't immediately get results. The longer they don't find things, the more impatient and frustrated they get and the less detailed their search becomes. It doesn't surprise me at all that that many people could miss a kid in thick undergrowth, people in cities and hotels have walked past stinking rooms with dead bodies in them and never noticed many times.

    • @VitZ9
      @VitZ9 Рік тому +5

      The only issue with the Alice story, is she didn't have any signs of exposure like Winona did.
      I've no doubt Winona was out in the elements for a number of days, but I'm convinced Alice was taken and returned when the kidnapper realised how high profile the case was getting.

    • @kdavis4910
      @kdavis4910 Рік тому

      The fact they reappear isn't necessarily odd. It's that they reappear in obvious places they couldn't have been missed at after the area was searched multiple time. Kids don't walk long distances in thick forests off trail. That's hard on adults even. Some cases the children did this in pitch darkness. It's very hard to believe considering survivorman himself tried to simulate a child walking through the woods in total darkness and had to call it off because the woods were too dangerous

    • @wintersking4290
      @wintersking4290 Рік тому

      @@kdavis4910 1)children aren't conscious of the danger. So they won't stop moving like a worried adult would.
      2) Honestly it's pretty easy to walk miles and miles through the woods off trail. Have done many hikes since I was small.
      3) as the video said, the kid hadn't actually gone very far and was just hidden in some particularly dense foliage. Such a small form, hidden under even moderately thick brush isn't something people would see without actively pulling back and separating the leaves, which is something that amateur, frustrated searchers generally wouldn't think to do.
      Also, kids could easily see denser brush as safer because predators can't get into it as easy, this is a basic instinct of many, many other baby mammals and I would be surprised if humans have something similar.
      Not saying there aren't weird disappearances, but this just doesn't seem that weird.

    Id just like to say that Adams channel is brilliant!
    He works very hard to bring us such great episodes with well researched details & comparisons
    Plus opinions to what he thinks may have happened in many cases of missing persons & asking us to
    Give our own opinions or senarios of what could have happened.
    Even his generic photos & film co-incide with each story & provide a backdrop to give us a feel of wilderness & weather or
    Towns & other places.
    All of this requires alot of work & diligence & research to bring us a well documented & coherent
    Set of cases.
    I like how he prints out any quotes from authorities in each case too.
    All in all Adams channel is one of my favourites & ive been a subscriber since early 2019 & ive enjoyed every video hes featured.
    His own personal style of presentation & soothing voice & sense of concern & care is obvious.
    Loving the long videos & know how much time & care & hard work go into these missing persons cases
    Lets get Bizarre is so compelling
    In each story & whets out appetites for more of the same.
    Long may Adams channel reign & continue to bring us such cases many of which have happy endings but sadly, many not so.
    Thank you Adam 🕊

That's okay really. The child probably hasn't even been walking for that long as it is and then comes to find itself lost in the woods for 5. Days And Somehow feed's itself keeps itself warm and just walks around for 5 days and is fine and people think that's normal that's duable, get real. Especially if you listen to the story after about that child who was even older than the 20 month old that was a child that was clearly on its own and suffered the 20 month old. Whatever it may be something helped keep that child alive.

      My earliest memory (from about two years-old) is of a guitar-playing witch who sat on a box thingy at the side of our house. I'm pretty sure that that didn't actually happen, but it is the earliest thing I can remember remembering. I had an extremely fertile imagination as a child. I also apparently believed fervently that I had bluebirds in my curtains - though this must pre-date the witch because I can't remember that. It's just what my Mum told me so I must have been pretty young. So maybe kids that young don't lie - but only because they actually believe what they are saying.

    I'm beginning to think that some of the Missing411 may be someone stepping into a portal where they are stuck until they die and then show back up on this side. That would help explain the anomalies like bodies showing up miles away and up a mountain or in an area that was searched many times without success. Footsteps suddenly ending and dogs losing a scent could be explained with a portal.
    I know it sounds crazy but portal theory helps to answer quite a few questions about the 411 phenomenon.

    Great video as usual and I hadn’t heard of any of them which made it even better however all these babies/people disappearing is heartbreaking. I would be horrified to be lost, although at the rate people are going missing whilst hiking definitely doesn’t make me want to take it up as a hobby. I’m going to be happy exploring the English countryside on my bike thank you very much !

      It just means people aren't situationally aware. It's the woods, not Disney World, and people let their guards down way too easily. The worst is when people have both earbuds in hiking in the woods alone. They might as well wear a sign on their foreheads that says....easy pickins. People still need to pay attention when on trail, especially when deep into the backcountry.

    I think Evangeline was picked up by someone and then brought back later. No way a person can go two weeks without food and not show signs of malnutrition. She should have lost a lot of weight. Her clothes would have been falling off. I bet she was somewhere, with some man and she did not want to tell.-Sounds like little Carolyn was taken and the person got scared and brought her back. Maybe her brother did see a car. -No way Alice survived alone.

    Never hike or travel alone in forested areas or park trails. If you are in a group of people never separate and go off on your own. And adults who allow children to go off on their own are guilty of child neglect and abuse, because some children disappear without a trace.

    2nd sight is what we call psychic today. i’ve heard of cases where psychics have been accused of having something to do with cases they helped solve because of locating the deceased person or having other details about the case. of course they are eventually found not having anything to do with it and the police do find the right culprit. i wouldn’t accuse the man with 2nd sight just because he has sn unusual gift that most of us don’t understand.

    I don't know why it's so hard to believe a child could wander far.
    I don't know why it's such a big mystery that missing people show up in an area that's been searched several times. They're lost, and wandering around, do searchers think the person will just stay right there where they were last seen?

    • @carolyns99
      @carolyns99 Рік тому +1

      Often it's through unforgiving terrain off trail. Several miles in a short amount of time too. Uphill or up mountains also, which is counterintuitive, because most lost people and kids will naturally choose to wander down hill when lost rather than up hill.
