Hey all, I don't usually cover cases that occurred so recently, however I felt that there was enough information present to be collated into a single place so this contains everything I came across. Jay's disappearance garnered massive amounts of attention in the UK and online. I'm wondering if my American viewers and viewers from other parts of the world also had heard about this? Be safe over the weekend everyone.
I think the speculation all relies too heavily on mobile device location data. The words "precise" and "exact" are not appropriate and not scientifically backed. Triangulation data for cell phones gives approximations for a general area. Put a 1/4 mile radius circle around tht spot and he could b anywhere within. If u get lost in the wilderness, do ur best to stay put. If u are close to an open field, clearing etc. Go wait there. Same if u spot a river or body of water, just sit on tht shore line. Stay safe everyone
"Jay was very street smart '" I don't think so. He went to a foreign country, got wasted out of his mind, left the party with total strangers, decides to trek the wilderness rather than wait for a bus. This is the opposite of street smart.
Instead of deciding who is and is not "street smart" why don't you try and search for FACTS that Jay was "wasted out his mind" "left with strangers" "trekked into the wilderness" as this is just hearsay. The facts are? He went to Tenerife, and now he is Dead. Nothing else is fact only pure speculation by people on YT.
I honestly don’t think there is any great mystery here , I personally think all his behaviour can be explained by drugs and mixing with the wrong people
Facts. Dude was saying turned over a new leaf 😂😂😂 he went there to serve drugs n stole a watch. You may be able to do fuck shit in your own shitty estate but fuck around in certain places n you find out real quick how much of a badman you think you are. This is a lad who thought he was the shit n found out he wasn't real fast He says he was on the phone to brad n was getting a call!!! That was Lucy but don't forget Lucy said she had a call from Jay not that she called. His "friends" know what went on but wont admit nada, his life obv wasn't worth what they had going on. Are we all going to forget the boat that GPS was switched off n still is?
I live in America, New York and I heard of this missing boy. I find it very strange a boy considered "street smart" would go back to an airnb with two men he didn't know, In a foreign country so much further from his own airbnb. The fact he asked a woman for directions to his airbnb, finds out its an 11 hour walk, goes in the opposite direction into a park instead of waiting for a bus. Did he not want to walk or wait for a bus on a public road in fear of being seen? Something seems very off here.
Because you are smart that you pick up that something is off, most of these idiots in the comment section aren’t really grasping that, but I totally agree with you.
@@silviabelluomini2456 There is no walking back to Las Americas from the mountain he was on. Even if he would have made it to the coast, it's just sheer cliffs, no beach or any kind of coast line to walk. I guess oogle didn't tell him that.
Rule #1 Never leave your friends and go off with strangers. Rule #2 follow rule #1. Very sad story ,we've all been young and have acted impulsively. Prayers to Jay and his family & friends.
My 20 year old son is going on his first holiday without me soon and I’m so nervous, he and a friend are going to Bulgaria for 4 days and I hope they will be safe, my son knows all the dangers and is fairly sensible but mums can’t help worrying, I really feel for Jay’s mum losing her son no matter his flaws he was her baby boy 😔
When are kids go off or leave the nest it’s worrying my mum got ill when I moved out I was the last to move out the nest (two brothers two sisters) and for years before I moved out every time I went out on my motorcycle my mum would sty awake until she heard me come in and lock my bike in my shed and I was 19-when I passed my motorcycle test and I moved out at 27-years old so all them years my mum worried and for my brothers sisters. Now my son is 31-years old are kids are for life
Best advice is be on your best behaviour and dont drink to much. Dont wear anything too expensive and be respectful. Same as everywhere else you are in a guest scenario.
I was going to say that. Something is off about this calculation. If it takes 15 minutes to drive say an average speed driving in a car is 40mph. A 15 minute drive should be about 10 miles or so. A typical healthy male can easily walk that distance in about 2 or 3 hours. Given the terrain is relatively flat. Very odd.
Do flies tell lies? You can't buy off the flies, but where were they? Where was the smell to attract them? Why didn't the dogs notice the smell, the birds/ the flies? A body out in the Tenerife sun?... for a month? ...but it didn't attract any attention from hikers/police/locals/animals/animals/birds/flies????
Sad but true. We just had such a case in my region. A young autistic boy wandered out of his home. Even though police started the search less then an hour later, hundreds of policemen and search dogs, a helicopter and a Bundeswehr Tornado, and indications where he wandered off to via a camera from neighbors he wasn't found for 2months. And the region where his body was found had been thoroughly searched twice! No foul play, just tragedy.
@@d.rim.4275 Jay wasn’t autistic why would he have tried to descend down a vertical cliff to a destination that was the opposite direction and cut off from where he wanted to go? Like stop with the nonsense use you brains and not your hearts
As far as I understand it, his friends had left and he stayed at the party since he wanted to keep partying. He kept partying there and then later went with the other guys since he knew them, they were also still at the party and he didn't have the keys to his place 10:51. He didn't go to their house to continue partying but rather after he had "finished" partying. People can make strange dumb decisions when they are under the influence.
A lot of people saying drugs were to blame, and I agree, but for a different reason. Depending on what he was taking, the feeling of comedown (sobering up) can be the worst. It just thrashes your emotions and gives overpowering feelings of doom, sadness, and regret. It's like a hellish hangover for your soul, hard to put into words. He's also dealing with it alone or surrounded by strangers, with nowhere quiet and private to rest. I bet he just freaked out and started acting rash
Exactly, when in that state you just want home, familiar surroundings so he could easily thought walking down that way as a shortcut. Waiting an hour in that state would seem too long.
The come down is so much harder for some people. I know some people who can do coke with no come down while back in the day when I partied I was suicidal during the comedown We all react differently to drugs. If I smoke weed it's worse than me doing any hard drugs. I totally freak the fuck out and couldn't drive a car let alone be left alone.
what are you talking about ? which drug that sounds a lot more extreme than what coming down, is like, you dont even mention which drug you are talking about...ridiculous
Very much. It's peculiar that the BBC acknowledges that the area was previously searched, perhaps numerous times. I'm not sure why the dogs would have missed a decaying body the first time(s)
@@MissingVoidTV not to pierce your bubble, but do you know the environment of that place? National Park is known for endless, bottomless pitch black systems of holes, underground natural tunnels, underground water reservoirs and rivers. You could search as much as you humanely can (even with the support of modern techniques and special trained cadaver dogs), but nature takes its course and don't really care for silly humans. Jay was tired, dehydrated, probably hangover and/or under influence of substances, unprepared for such settings, disoriented and panicked - that's usually the sole reason for making unwise decisions and getting yourself into troubles. I do believe that his death was accidental (although circumstances of his disappearance may not); that he got himself into dangerous, unknown terrain and simply felt into countless holes in the ground. His body could be transported by stream and/or animals, which in this natural circumstances, could be accelerated. It is understandable that you put a lot of faith in authorities and technique, but you simply forgetting about force of nature and human error combined. Referring to the statement about uncooperative behaviour on behalf of Spanish policing authorities - may I remind you that the UK policing services offered their expertise and resources and were informed that if there will be a need for assistance, they will contact them - this is for a few reasons. Firstly, no jurisdiction and limited cooperation due to post-Brexit (lack of) arrangements; secondly, Spain remembers couple of high-profile cases with Brits as victims (e.g., disappearance of Madeline McCain) and international fallout that still hunts them to this day (and no wonder!), finally, you must understand that local coppers are best to deal with search efforts as they know the place the best, simple as that, and I wouldn't want any foreign coppers hijacking my investigation, too (I served as PC back in Scotland being an EU citizen myself, so I know both sides of the issue quite well). I hope that this emphasise for you some major themes in this case. Best wishes!
/watch?v=5m4wfJ3zDcI 👆This is where he was found. Now, do you think it's an easy job to search every cravice and crack there? Do you understand that people with very special talents are needed to even get down that way? Do you people understand anything about mountains?
The biggest mystery is why a mother would actively encourage her teenage son (who had already been in trouble with the law) to go to a foreign country for a multi-day rave. What could possibly go wrong? 🤔 Why is anyone surprised that he was making odd decisions? Everyone agrees he had been drinking to excess, probably taking drugs, he had had no sleep, was probably already dehydrated before he walked off and would have been in a dangerous state as it got hotter. Then he had supposedly cut his leg, maybe badly enough to add blood loss to the mix or to make walking difficult. So even if there were no other shenanigans going on, it is perfectly feasible that he would have walked off a cliff.
quite possibly still high full of energy paranoid and just wanted to get somewhere so started off. Not thinking rationally. Sadly, probably in one of those Rivenes somewhere. Not a good idea to separate from your friends when in a foreign country.
11 in Spanish is pronounced once, he might have mistaken the word that the lady was saying for the English word “one”. No one in their right mind would have rejected a bus ride for an 11 hour walk!
Thanks for that very good summary. I'd heard he'd been found, but not the autopsy detail. Remember, they didn't find Michael Moseley for many days, even though the general area where he was found HAD been searched previously. Seems that it is easy to miss a body in a large rugged area.
Just glad to hear your voice Adam. It's soothing, and I'm in a bit of distress with high anxiety..and your voice helps calm me. I'm In the states and yes, I know of this case, but not that he'd been found. Several channels covered his disappearance. You are the first, for me at least, to report him being found. Unfortunately, just bad choices and drugs killed this young man.
Remember that anxiety is temporary. Theanine (also the blend: Theanine Serene with relora) really helps me when I’m anxious. I hope this passes quickly for you.
He tried to rip them off or lost product.. Lucy is a mule & got Jay involved.. (why would you need a go fund me to help get more people to search? They volunteer.. not paid by the hour!) It's tragic but there's no 411 supernatural aspect to it. Just free holidays for young brits to be used as mules.. I might be totally wrong but it's a dodgy place. I'm very surprised that they let the two brits at the Airbnb Jay was with were just let to fly back to the UK.. Tragic though but Lucy knows alot more than we'll ever know
@@MissingVoidTV - Not that it makes any difference, the mainstream fail to point it out which means there's restricted knowledge or selective reporting. So wait, he boasted about stealing a £12000 watch, and then the family receive texts saying he owed them money and the police say "nah thats just internet trolls"? Like what? Seems like a pretty likely motive too me.
But we've seen time and time how random people unrelated to disappearances, murders or deaths harass victims' families with lies, threats, false confessions, demand, etc. We know he wasn't kidnapped so if these people killed him what motivation would they have for contacting his mother? They didn't make ransom demands and he was already dead by the time they contacted his mother. If he owned them money why would they kill him? Amd how did they kill him? How did they find him there and why would they go into such a terrain to kill him? It just doesn't make any sense.
A young man who had consumed too much made too many illogical decisions. Nothing strange here. He was doomed the minute he wouldn't wait at the Air BNB for the other guys to give him a lift back.
This is just not based in reality. You have obviously never done drugs never been to masca and never gone to a rave. To think he wandered for a 2 hour walk and fell off a cliff of one of the most asinine beliefs lol. Go to masca then rethink your theory you will change your mind I gaurantee it
@@kevinsidhu66 rewatch the video. Here are the facts: He'd been drinking and partying. He hadn't slept. He left the AirBnB. He talked to a woman about the bus. Walked away in the wrong direction. Called his friend who heard him on the gravel roads and told him he was walking back. Around 8am he spoke to Lucy and said he was lost and had hurt his leg. It's not a leap to infer shortly after that he fell down the ravine and died. All the rest is internet speculation.
@@EndOfSmallSanctuary97 not at all I just have more of an idea about these things through personal experience having done those things and having stayed in masca several times. People like you that talk out of their a$$ with no experience or insight are funny to me lol

If you know you know. Idc what anyone thinks tbh Jay wasn’t my friend I could care less if he gets justice.frankly justice imo would be his father and brother doing something about it but I’m cut different lol.
I'm sorry, but this kid made so many idiotic decisions before he disappeared, its not the least bit surprising. He could have waited for his friend to wake up and give him a ride, he could have called a cab, he also could have rode the bus. He also knew before he started his journey that it was an 11 hour walt (because someone literally told him!), combined with the fact that he was totally unfamiliar with the local area. He didn't even call the local police for help when his phone still had battery, he called his friends... If you're being that stupidly reckless, you're pretty much asking for trouble.
I live in the countryside and one time i was visiting a friend 25km from home. I missed the last bus so i decided to walk home. It took 4 hours but it was at night so the air was cool, but i was still very tired when i got back. The 11 hour walk in the hot sun in this case would have been impossible. He must have been in a weird mental state to try and do this hike
I was wondering if you would cover this weird case and I am very glad that you did! I know it couldn't have been done straight away because it is obviously still so recent but yeah. It is such a shame what happened to Jay Slater but I hope his family feels relief in the sense that they were able to get his body back at least and put him to rest. Great to see your coverage of it Missing Void!
Moral of the story? Have common sense!! Don’t leave with Joe Schmo when you’re drunk in some other country!! This has happened many times before and it’s gonna happen many times again.
@abeltesfaye_ you don't get to make multiple bad decisions without consequences. The world isn't sunshine and rainbows, you need to watch your own back. Robbing people makes them upset.
@@Fido-vm9zi Really? You’re in a foreign country getting drunk and you think you should be trusting enough to leave with people you just met BY YOURSELF? You can trust but have common sense! Especially when we know shit like this happens. Yea trusting good guy, and with your logic he’s dead.
@@jonathanpeterson1984 Okay first of all, not once did I say don’t drink. Second, do it responsibly and don’t throw your common sense out the window while doing it. This is not the first time this has happened. It’s happened MANY times. So knowing that, when you are in a foreign country, you don’t leave your friends to go with people you just met by yourself. Drink, have fun, act a fool, I don’t care…but have common sense.
Why is this a story? Why is this confusing? Drunk and drugged up raver makes bad decision to walk back (as has happened only about a billion times in history) and got lost in a vast remote and rugged area. Ummm. Yeah. Sad and pretty obvious.
Geee yeah like no one has ever made a decision to want to get back asap when drunk or high. Not wait for a ride and just leave now?? Yeah bud it's pretty common.
U.S.A. here.... I have not heard of this case till your video. I get my news from online sources including international news however, I still have not seen this case till now.
There was a picture of what human looks like to the rescue team when searching rocky mountain terrain. It's not surprising he wasn't found. Not every search is the shoulder to shoulder, grid by grid kind of a search.
The things people do for a few lines of ching. I raved for two decades, 40, now, I had friends leave with unknown men just because they had coke. Let’s say he was off his face, met the two, had a few bumps together, invited himself to their gaff, either they kept on going or at some point they told him, you just snorted 150 quids’s worth, you want more, pay up. Given his background he freaked out and set, dehydrated, sleep deprived, in Tenerife weather, which means heatstroke or death through dehydration within two hours max. Also I’m Italian, lived five years in UK, now in Portugal…there are a LOT of dodgy Brits here, not unlikely he got done by some of them. A backpack of swedgers? Damn when I lived in Hackney 15 year olds were getting stabbed over a ten bag of white, let alone a backpack😅
I'm from Canada. I'd heard of this case from another creator (Krime with Kait, highly recommend). You present the case well. It's a bit of a weird one, for sure.
Thank you for a good video that goes through the facts without indulging in speculations. It was very informative and did him justice. RIP young man, what a sad way to go.
Thank you Adam. It is always a pleasure watching the hard work you put together for us. Take care & stay safe. P.S. Don't pick the berries or mushrooms. 😂
So many bad decisions led to this. 1. Jays friends leaving the festival without him, despite the fact he was so intoxicated/high. 2. Jay leaving the festival with 2 total strangers in a foreign place. 3. Jays own poor judgement, whatever the reason, for trying to walk back to his hotel. Despite the fact he had other way better options (bus, taxi). Just such poor, disastrous decision-making. Tragically, alot of young people feel they are invincible. That nothing bad will happen to them. Incredibly sad...Considering Jays violent past though, perhaps karma came looking for him.
A 15 min car ride doesn't translate into a 14 hour walk man there's no way possible 15 mins ur maybe driving 10 miles maybe lil over that buy nothing crazy cause driving to the next town over where I live is 11mins that's doing 60mph so I mean ur not going much farther in that sense so walking might be hour or 2 tops and that's straight there
It depends, in rural areas it's frequent to see roads that are too dangerous to travel by foot, therefore you need to use a longer path. If it's a kind of motorway or something similar then I would not be surprised that cars need 15 minutes to make a 11 hour hiking journey as you obviously can't walk there but need to walk around etc. It's a mountain area remember so usually in the mountains 1 mile isn't 1 mile in town that would take 20 minutes but 2 hours in a steep area, without mountain shoes, hiking sticks and all the gear needed. He was dehydrated from the start, probably off his face whether with alcohol, substances or both, desorientated with no map or compass, I imagine he was wearing sneakers. .. If he was nervous about the watch, back pack or both, his mind might have been on this more than going back to the hotel, therefore making his trip even longer and more difficult.
Love your channel. Your voice is soothing and hypnotic and makes all these stories addictive. I know these take time to research but I'll still ask for more!
Please have a look at Missing 411 cases. This exactly meets the criteria . Missing person found in an area previously searched, inclimate weather during disappearance, disappears in a national park, inexplicable clothing removed, person walking into the wild for no apparent reason, partial or improper autopsy results.
No it hasn’t. The criminals he left with did something to him. Just because an idiot can murder and not leave evidence doesn’t make it a miracle. Police f up again in their investigation. The perpetrator is probably hiding in Somalia now. Good luck bringing him in for questioning
Hey Adam, thanks for the new video and for me I love the longer videos so I’m looking forward to watching it!! I’m an 🇺🇸 viewer and I don’t think I have heard of this case yet. Either way, thanks again Adam and have a nice weekend!! 🫡
I don't think this case is all that suspicious. As humans, we are drawn to satisfying stories which make more sense to us and feel more interesting. Jay being kidnapped or murdered or hunted by shady people is a more interesting story and feels more complete or less senseless but real life isn't a story and reality doesn't follow a narrative structure. I think Jay, like many of us, made stupid and illogical decisions because he was drunk or high. Unfortunately, he wasn't as lucky as some of us to walk away from those situations alive. Being street smart really has no bearing on your ability to survive the outdoors, particularly not treacherous mountainous areas with erratic weather patterns, without supplies and no hiking experience. Even experienced hikers and mountaineers occasionally get bested by these conditions and succumb to the elements. I don't think Ayub behaved suspiciously, nor do I think the police made the wrong call to let him leave. He pushed his flight back as per the police's request and left after he was interviewed and cleared to do so. His recollection of the events matched Jay's snapchat post, what Jay told his friends and what witnesses reported. I also don't blame Lucy for looking for someone to blame and trying to find a way to make sense of what happened to her friend. Similarly, his cause of death is also not suspicious as it is consistent with a fall from a significant height. It is also not uncommon to find someone in a previously searched area in terrains like this. His state of decomposition was also in line with the time he disappeared. Foul play does not makes any sense to me. I think you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get to that conclusion. This appears to just be a very unfortunate situation of someone not in their right mind making some dumb decisions, landing up in an area which they did not have the skills or supplies to navigate. May his family find peace and may the harassment of them, Jay's friends and everyone deemed suspicious by the public, cease. This serves as a reminder to prioritise safety. Don't separate from your friends while partying or when you are in an unfamiliar area. Don't go on dangerous hikes alone and be throughly prepared when hiking or exploring the wilderness, the elements are far less forgiving that we sometimes assume. It is easy to get lost or fall, even when you are experienced.
I lived on tenerife in the 90s it's unbearably hot. Walking anywhere far even at night is a bad idea. That in mind there is no place on tenerife that takes 11 hours to get to. Its an island and although the biggest of the canaries its still not very big. This kid had problems and his parents are downplaying that fact.

Why did they immediately start a go fund and his mum say "whoever has him"???? Seems there may be a need to pay someone some money but he was made an example of.
It’s obviously what happened. He went back to that house to do more gear, got spooked by someone or something in the house and fled. That’s why he couldn’t wait for the bus or get a taxi. He was just running and either fell down the hill or was pushed

Ayub said Jay went out to get cigarettes and then said he was hungry and went out for scran. At that time there would be nowhere nearby that was open for cigs or scran. If they stopped at a 24 HR filling station with shop for drinks ,why did Jay not buy cigs ,food, drink at that point. I do not think he was able to go into the shop for supplies

Sorry, but blaming Spanish officials for turning down help is just wrong. If a Spanish person had gone missing in the UK, would UK officials have accepted help from Spanish officials? yeah sometime i use to do these kind of weird decision, oh yeah how bout i walk instead, then regret afterward. maybe jay do the same impulsive decision.
I don't think it's that weird that lost people would go up high, makes perfect sense to me... If you're high up you will see a long way off and try to find your bearings, have an idea which direction to head in. Also if he fell in a very inaccessible ravine like that it seems like he died right away. To begin with they're looking for a living person, calling out. So probably wouldn't have looked in very inaccessible places if there was no calling/screaming/some indicative sound coming out. And it's not like you have "very inaccessible ravine" marked on the map. It might have taken them a while to actually find it even if it was mere meters from where he was last known to be. Area searched before yes, ravine searched before, no. If he had been drinking a lot and only had one hour of sleep or so, he probably wasn't in possession of all his senses when he left. Probably didn't realize what 14 hours hike means, or maybe he thought it was minutes or whatever. Then on the way he got sobered up enough to realize he did a stupid thing, but it was too late. Those mountains aren't easy, he wasn't on a trail, he got up high to figure out where to head, saw the coast, tried to go that way, stumbled or tripped and fell to his death. Tragic accident born out of intoxication and nobody stopping him. I'm not sure the fact that the guys he was with were shocked this girl found their Airbnb is suspicious with. I mean of course you'd be shocked if someone you only met once in a bar and hadn't given your address to suddenly showed up at your door. Their story seems pretty consistent. He woke up when the car was moved, maybe went out for a cigarette, and then decided to leave. Maybe he was a mule, maybe he wasn't. It may be that he realized he no longer had the backpack and was desperate to get to the bar and find it or something. He clearly couldn't have been in his right mind after several nights of partying and specifically after one night of partying and drinking and then only sleeping for one hour. And if those guys wanted to get rid of him it would have made more sense to do it on the drive back to their place then to wait untill he was at their place, had been seen at their place and so on.

14 hours walking does not equal up to 15 minutes drive. Not even close. That’s weird alone
Very odd.
The only thing I can thing of is that it’s all motorway so walking along the route of the road wasn’t an option? But seems weird
People being found in previously searched areas has happened many many times.
its pretty freaky to me how that happens 😒

Sad but true. We just had such a case in my region. A young autistic boy wandered out of his home. Even though police started the search less then an hour later, hundreds of policemen and search dogs, a helicopter and a Bundeswehr Tornado, and indications where he wandered off to via a camera from neighbors he wasn't found for 2months. If someone wanted to keep partying, why go far away with 2 people 20 years older who were going straight to bed?
As far as I understand it, his friends had left and he stayed at the party since he wanted to keep partying. He kept partying there and then later went with the other guys since he knew them, they were also still at the party and he didn't have the keys to his place 10:51. He didn't go to their house to continue partying but rather after he had "finished" partying.

Sounds like how my stalker lures them in. They have to have small boys too or it's no go for him. Wonder why
How do you know that's what a comedown feels like? 😂 Have you dibble-dabbled a bit yourself? You naughty boy you...
Exactly, when in that state you just want home, familiar surroundings so he could easily thought walking down that way as a shortcut. Waiting an hour in that state would seem too long.
The come down is so much harder for some people. I know some people who can do coke with no come down while back in the day when I partied I was suicidal during the comedown
We all react differently to drugs. If I smoke weed it's worse than me doing any hard drugs. I totally freak the fuck out and couldn't drive a car let alone be left alone.

The biggest mystery is why a mother would actively encourage her teenage son (who had already been in trouble with the law) to go to a foreign country for a multi-day rave. What could possibly go wrong? 🤔
Why is anyone surprised that he was making odd decisions? Everyone agrees he had been drinking to excess, probably taking drugs, he had had no sleep, was probably already dehydrated before he walked off and would have been in a dangerous state as it got hotter. Then he had supposedly cut his leg, maybe badly enough to add blood loss to the mix or to make walking difficult.
So even if there were no other shenanigans going on, it is perfectly feasible that he would have walked off a cliff.

15 minutes by car on a road or 14hrs walking a trail through a jungle up n over multiple mountains.. next time think before making a moronic comment
I thought it seemed an incorrect comparison just on instinct without doing the maths

A BnB is just that. You provide your own breakfast grub albeit it cereals, milk and sugar or bacon and eggs or croissants and jam. Nobody rents a BnB without bringing basic foodstuffs with them
Loved it, I think your doing great!!!
Thank you ❤️
Honestly don't ever get intoxicated in another country abroad.
Lol, you tell that to the english
@@AudreyLudlow I'm not even English, I'm American. Truthfully if you're a guest in a foreign country don't get intoxicated.
The system should protect it's citizens more than outsiders and with your temporary visa a lot of bad stuff could happen.
Anyone who's crashed at a strangers house the night before wants to get back home asap. 12:02
Always a great day when you upload friend
Definitely heard it here in Australia. I was hoping the poor kid would be found.
Hey great video Adam. I appreciate the way you are telling the story, not spoiling the outcome early on and so on.
I believe this case isn't anything fishy though but great listen anyway!
Street IQ of 64...
Bro made some terrible decisions for someone that was "street smart"
Sorry, but blaming Spanish officials for turning down help is just wrong. If a Spanish person had gone missing in the UK, would UK officials have accepted help from Spanish officials? Somehow, I doubt it.
This kid had a really dodgy background. It's highly unlikely he turned himself around so quickly with no back sliding. I lean towards him financing his trip with some activities that can be highly lucrative but dangerous.
Spanish police are renown for being "next to useless" though, echoes of the Portuguese policing in the Madeleine McCann case
@@craigoliver8712 IMO, the Portugese investigator figured out that the most likely person/s involved in Maddies disappearance were the parents, who i believe were also guilty. The British gov't had an investigation, but the investigators were told that the parents were innocent, and not to be looked into. No competent investigation blocks any possible perps, as it cuts off lines of inquiry
@@craigoliver8712that's not true, proven by how many times they have found and saved many missing idiotic tourists when they go missing in the mountains in the canary islands.
Love your content
It makes no sense why as of today 20th August, that Jay's go fund me page is still open. He was buried 10 days ago and its still standing at over £74k. It's heartbreaking what happened to the lad, but someone had donated only 5hrs ago. Debbie (mom) said it was too pay for a send off he deserves. It was a beautiful service. But this just doesn't make sense why its still taking donations. Am I missing something. Please don't jump at me in the comments. I just wondered what others' thoughts were over this?
I’m Canadian and followed this very tragic story. 🥺🇨🇦
Why he took on that walk with no battery power or water will always puzzle me especially after phoning lucy saying he had no battery or water.
He didn't know those two men until being at the club where he took a VERY EXPENSIVE watch from them and then stayed with them.
Bless his wee soul
A very respectful over view , thanks
Another thought maybe someone took him to the ravine and pushed him off. Maybe the 2 lads from the air bnb?
Awesome!
yeah sometime i use to do these kind of weird decision, oh yeah how bout i walk instead, then regret afterward. maybe jay do the same impulsive decision.
The only mystery to me is why they've never named and shown us the other guy, Ayubs mate?!?!
we have seen him - his name is rocky
You just go around naming people without any evidence
@halfcenturystorm We've seen vague pictures of him and I'm pretty sure Rocky may be a nickname.
@@Hereandthereandeverywhere666 well we have seen the man and he has spoken to us and said he was sleeping in the car on the way to masca then went inside and went to bed. thats as much evidence as we can get? unless he wasnt there at all and was shacked up with some woman back in los cristianos - then pretends to police that he was there? he is the man spoke to police and mwt. - we even have his full name.
thank you. great video.
i’m 🇨🇦 and yes i had heard of this case but it wasn’t from UA-camrs here or in the 🇺🇸 but i happen to follow a lot of UK crime UA-camrs. so i heard about the case from them. but not until after he was found. it’s not a case being talked about here, but we have a few really high profile cases happening at the same time. karen Reads case etc
He shouldn't have relaxed around Ayub.
Sometimes in the past I've spent a good amount of time looking for my glasses only to walk past a mirror and realize I was wearing them. That said, with his past and his apparent IQ, the only mystery to me is how he lasted the entire weekend.
I just find it strange why thier is so many phones recording JAY SLATER
or is it just me
18 months community service for beating another kid within an inch of his life?!
Why was Jay carrying two knifes.
This is another case that I've never heard about. Great channel though.
Hard listen, one dumb choice after another!
Well done, great vid!
