Hate all the ai. I like hearing about the items but I'd much rather see the actual depictions created by the people who believed in these items rather then whatever a computer pukes up after stealing all the images related to it.
I like getting origin lore in easily digestible form! :) Kinda weird looking AI art at some points tho, like what was that Telkhine image fish with just fins on each end lol
I saw Ichaivel in Fire Emblem, tried to find an origin, and I've been waiting for a video like this forever. Only to see that the results of your search ended at Fire Emblem as well. T-T
Rangdas Mask, Bumbas, Lonos Mask, and Ring of Hecate are all references to gods. Manakin Scepters are from Mayan ancient times that’s had depictions of gods on them.
This was a very interesting video. I love lore dives like this where it explores where items has come from. I hope that Hi-Rez makes more items tied to mythology. I would be interested in seeing stuff from Mayan lore because its one that doesn't have a lot from it, be nice to find out more about that side of mythology.

Outside of smite I was never really into Greek mythology, knew parts of it but not a whole lot....videos like this just bring focus on Zeus is a total dickhead lol, bring back my guy Asclepius
not an item, but a relic: aegis amulet was named after the aegis, a mythical shield given to Athena by Zeus

Atalanta's bow!
I was thinking about that but then I remembered it got removed. But yeah, Atalanta was some chick who was a fast runner or something...
@@BradTheThirdso was Masamune but he covered that
You forgot to mention that Pridwen had another special ability: If you threw the shield onto the water, it would transform into a BOAT.
Additional detail about the cyclopian ring: the little bolt going through it is a reference to how they forged Zeus' original lighting bolts
Brawlers beatstick was an item in Global agenda, and quit a hard one to aquire from what I remember.

Great video, but the AI images looked tacky. Would have looked better without it.
I like your channel but please stop using GenAI images.
I've followed you for years and this ain't it
