- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and now studies in the master's degree of the university in the class "Composition"
- Sings in genres: pop, rock, classics, crossover (neo-classics), folklore, rap, jazz.
- Singer, composer (wrote music for 10 songs), multi-instrumentalist (dombra, piano, percussion, guitar).
- Has a range of six octaves and one note.
- Notes - A1 (Love Like a Dream), from C2 to D8 (Unforgettable Day) - from baritone to soprano.
- The first performance as a singer is 2010.

Idk in S.O.S he is able to sustain a F#5 in a heavy mixed voice, which is absolutely insane. The only thing that makes this one a little bit better is the run after that high note

Oh Lordy. This is such an emotional roller coaster. He uses Eastern ululation, and Western runs along with super human breath control to combine into one of the most moving covers I have ever witnessed.

Thank you for your reaction. The keyboard player is Baigali Serkebayev, the composer of this song, and is he from the band A-Studio. The bass and guitar player are also in A-Studio. This song was originally performed by them 30 years ago. Needless to say, Dimash has taken an older song to new levels. Blessings to you Dear!

This "driver" is a graduate of the Conservatory and the founder of a band that has been playing since 1982. :) He's a tough professional.
Dimash does a song called Know. Sometimes he does lyrics , sometimes he just does sounds. He does it differently every time but it is incredible. Know in Moscow has lyrics, Know on the stage in New York Arnau concert? He literally sat flat on the stage and use his voice. No lyrics. It is amazing.

Every time I watch this video, the piano player has reminded me of Rolf from the Muppets.
The strange sound in the middle is sometimes called "throat-singing" and is part of Kazakh folk music which Dimash likes to add to the wild mixture of music & styles that has been called "Popera."

The band he's performing with here, A Studio, is from Kazakhstan, and as others have said, "Adam Driver" is the composer of the song, Baygali Serkebaev (he does look like Adam..lol). The original front man for the group was Batyrkhan Shukenov, who passed away 3 years prior to this performance. Dimash has said that Shukenov is one of his favorite artists and that he listens to him a lot, so I imagine he felt very privileged to be able to do this arrangement with the band, which I would believe is part of the connection he feels to the song. The guy who looks like Adam Driver actually wrote this song and had a hit in Russia with it with his old band A-Studio. They were doing a tribute to a band member who had passed.
It was at this concert that the composer Igor Krutoy stood and applauded and began their collaboration.

This is a cover from a song by A-Studio, his favourite band. The pianist is the original composer of the song, and I believe the bass player and drummer are also in the original band.
Another great reaction! I also enjoy Dimash singing this style of music. Some of Dimash's songs are similar at times, but each are unique in one form or another. There is always that "something" that sets them apart. A similar sounding song to this one, but obviously different, is Love is Like a Dream. It's (probably?) my favorite Dimash song. It has a little bit of everything in it, and I believe you are really going to enjoy it.

Just in case you are not sure if he sings in English, he does, Queen's Show Must Go On is a good start (2017, his English has improved since then) Also Adagio, Hello (Lionel Ritchie cover) and Screaming which is a Music Video. Once you see Screaming, find the Idol hits version for a little extra surprise.....
Then once you've heard a few of those, you MIGHT be ready for Ogni Pietra (Olympico) which, so far, his masterpiece, at least IMO. I'd reckon you could count on 1 hand, singers who could pull off what he does in that!
