Oh, yeah, I forgot to explain the language switch 😊 In Hello he sings "I love you" a few times in Chinese instead because it's a Chinese audience 😊 He sings "Wo ai ni" which is "I love you" (plural) in Mandarin 😊 Dimash has sung in 12 different languages (Kazakh (his native language), Russian (his second language, Opera 2 is in Russia for example), English, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, French, Ukrainian, German, Serbian, Turkish and Kyrgyz )😊

Here's the talk show one: He sings short a cappella samples in several different languages, including German. It's just a tiny bit , but his German pronunciation is really good imo

Dimash and Laura Fabian are perfect examples of singers that are truely COMMITTED; they leave it all on the floor. It's essentially take it or leave it. And, as you rightfully pointed out, what's the point if you're not going to put emotion into it?

Thank you again for your reaction! He was invited to be a competitor in Singer 2017, as an experiment for the show. Yes, he dominated, and was an overnight sensation after his first performance, but did take second place. This was from Singer 2018, he was invited back to be a guest singer for one of the episodes. When you spoke of bringing in the cultural spin into the song I thought, just wait. :) He does have a way of taking a song and making it entirely his own. So far it has been difficult to find something he "sucks" at, or struggles with. He can pick up a new instrument and within minutes he figures out how to play it. He does say he doesn't cook, and it's been seen that he has difficulty keeping his shoelaces tied. If either of those things count as "sucking", or struggling with, then there you have it. "Dinglish" accent is just ADORABLE!😍😍 And it would obviously be unfair to include issues out of his control, such as in-ear monitoring failures (an ongoing battle) or medical problems (such as before "Daybreak") so...🤔 Oh hang on, there is *one* thing - our Di simply cannot draw to save his life! I wish I could provide you with a link (though perhaps one of our Dear friends could help - please?🙏), but I'm reminded of one instance in particular, where he attempts to sketch a horse - or a dog? - though we're not entirely sure which, because what he produced was some kind of weird hybrid... it just cracks me up!😂😂 But the best part of it is, that either he or one of his fans got it printed onto a "Dimash and Dears" white t-shirt, which he then wore with pride for an interview - because that's just the kind of guy he is! Absolutely gorgeous! Dimash uses his amazing athletic vocal skills to the Max! He will leave you breathless!!! And seeing how much you loved Dimash's vocals at the end of "Hello", you will love "Know". I hope you decide to review this amazing performance. Great review of "Hello". Thank you!

Dimash always makes a song his own. If you haven't done it yet, he does a great Freddie Mercury "SHOW MUST GO ON". Love to her your reaction.
He really struggled once. He struggled with the English language in his Show Must Go On performance 😄 that was on Singer 17, a year before Hello. It was his second English perfrmance ever (after Uptown Funk 😄 in which he had the same problems (he was told to sing Uptown Funk, it wasn't his choice...) but that one is not really interesting technically, just some mainstream party music 😄 ) and he only had a few days to prepare Show Must Go On, and additionally had a slight cold, which is why he didn't rehearse it that often). He couldn't speak English back then and just learned the lyrics by heart phonetically, he just tried to remember what it sounded like to him. The result was sth that wasn't reaaally English 😄 lol but it was cute, his fans just called it "Dinglish". 😄 Buuur technically it was a phenomenal performance 😊 You may check it out/react to it 😊 not many voice/music teachers react to Show Must Go On these days (most only react to SOS, Opera 2, The Diva Dance (Bastau concert) from 2017 and then jump to his newer performances). Would like to know your opinion on it 😊❤
Do you know that there are other performances of Show Must Go On by Dimash? For example, in 2018 there's one in Aktobe, Kazakhstan on "Baqytty bala" festival, and another at his London concert in November.
What's interesting is that some words didn't change, like abandoned->abandones, chance->change. There've imbedded in his memory forever during endless rehearsals...
I actually do not like his cover of The Show Must Go On. It's a personal song for me cuz Queen is my favorite band and Freddie made that song very personal. The arrangements were too different, which I love about most of his covers, but this song did not work for me.

It took me a while to really love this version. I think because the song has been so overplayed here in the US. Now, I really love the extra runs that he added, it's definitely the best part of the song! ♡♡♡

Sorry DJ don't think you're going to get your wish, best just to read up on Thesaurus and get more adjectives, because you are going to need them 🤣🤣. You could try The Show Must Go On by Queen, this was, I believe, Dimash's first English song in the I Am A Singer contest and you could criticise his english pronounciation on that one (but be careful we Dears are very protective 💥) BUT musically he will blow you away again as it is a brilliant cover. Dimash has sung in 12 different languages, he speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, has pretty good English now and can understand a lot of Mandarin although he speaks it only a little. He is a highly intelligent young man ❤ this competition is for invited, highly successful musicians, mostly chinese, in fact Dimash was the only foreigner, being an unknown to them 22 year old from Kazakhstan who was invited as a wildcard by the producer who saw him sing for the presidents of China and Kazakhstan and was so impressed by him. Dimash couldnt speak any Chinese but soon made friends with all the other competitors who being much older took him under their wings. They were all astonished at his voice and mesmerising stage presence. After his first song on the contest, S.O.S was broadcast on TV, he woke up next morning to find he wasnt allowed out without bodyguards, he asked why and was shown that his Weibo account, that's Chinese Instagram, had 600 million new fans. ❤ carry on and watch Confesser, he switches for Mandarin to Italian in that one ❤ Dimash doesn't struggle with a thing, he is a vocal master. He has trained from 5 years old, seriously trained and he is still only 25 💖

Thank you for your reaction! One thing you may have gotten wrong... every range is Dimash’s range!!!😊. If you react to Ogni Pietra, you will hear a long portion in the lower ranges, Baritone and Tenor. He has a beautiful soothing low voice. Also Ti Amo Cosi, an absolutely gorgeous trio with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian, where he has the man role in the low range. Or, for the opposite, Dina dance Bastau, where he navigates effortlessly (it seems), between super high and super low.
Tidbit of info, he has not been allowed to sing “Hello” again because of copyright rights... sad, this is such a beautiful version!

Hi! I really enjoy your reaction video! Thank you for doing Dimash songs! About challenge he faced... anything I can think of is "Daybreak" Singer 2017 version. Dimash had throat inflammation, and had to take injections. It should be able to consider as "struggle."

IMO Uptown funk from Singer 2017 is the only song he was struggling with (and I'm not fond of his MJ covers either tbh) but it was mainly because of his english. Thankfully, his English has gotten better now.
He likes to experiment with his voice and uptown funk was another of those experiments

Dimash is a master degree singer with a perfect musical education and practising for years and years. He will never try any song he will struggle with. He will first adapt himself and manupulate his techniques for that song then let us watch him. So nevermind, don't try to find that song.

Something Dimash had problems with? That's easy, in episode 8 from this Chinese tvshow called "I am a singer" (2017) Dimash was sick while performing the song Daybreak. He had a hard time but still did a very good job. And also Dimash was not so well while performing: Unforgettable day (Gakku version) but also than did a very good job.
If Dimash ever struggled with a performance, the evidence has been shot, stabbed, dismembered, and dropped down an abandoned mine shaft. He has trained HARD for over twenty years, and he has a rep for still working extremely hard on his performances. Add that to his innate gifts, we just have to accept the fact that he is genuinely unique (and truly modest, and generous, and authentically nice, and might also walk on water someday, if he ever cares enough to try).

LOL...most other artists aren't crazy about Dimash doing a cover of their songs because once he does, he makes the song his own and from then on, it's Dimash's version that you want to hear. AND you can't FIND anything he struggles with because he never does :-)

The I am a singer competition of 2017 is over. He was asked to be a quest for the opening of Singer 2018 . As far as being challenged he felt that Daybreak difficult because of the subject matter. Wo ani means I love you in Chinese. You should watch Daybreak it's emotional.
A great explanation of how the "Master of Voice/Dimash" can take ANY song and bring UP to another level of passion, and execution...Sorry, HE is Excellent in Vocals, body language, expression, wardrobe, and orchestra accompaniment (Igor for example) And on top of all this, this MAN is humble...You have to LOVE him as a performer, but, even more for the Human Being he is ...

I think you got emotional...I can see it in your eyes. 🥰 But he IS human. His cover of Uptown Funk was fun but not his best. He only agreed to do it cuz it was out of his comfort zone and upbeat. Plus, he did not speak a lick of English when he covered it.

Nobody should judge Dimash for his English as it is NOT his mother tongue! As for his old performances of English and French (SOS) songs/covers Dimash sang them just for the Song Contest (I am Singer in China). Dimash is a perfectionist because he corrected his mistakes of some English or French words that he misspelled during his performances. Thank you for your reaction! Stay Safe from virus!
Dimash was a contestant on 2017 & this was 2018 and he was a guest singer at this point. I’ve always love this song but this is my favorite version. He did own this song. You may want to react to Uptown Funk. Dimash reaction for 7 hours sounds great, lol, maybe his first solo concert in NYC?❤️😂😘

Dear Temple Music Academy, you are absolutely right! It is very difficult to sing as Dimash does in your proper language, but singing in another language is much more difficult. And nevertheless there are some reactors who start critisizing his pronunciation ect. I consider them most stupid people.

This was actually a guest performance in 2018 Singer, not from his competition days in 2017. Following the finale, each year, they bring in guest singers and they and the top singers from the competition perform a charity concert event. In 2017 and 2018, the funds raised went to wetland rehabilitation.
As to your request...I haven't found anything that has been too challenging for him yet... 😂

He changed I Love You to Mandarin and the whispering was Kazakh. Unfortunately, like Vitas Lionel has forbidden Dimash to sing their songs again and I am pretty sure you can figure out why. Especially Vitas that lip synced and didn't go as high for Opera 2.

Could you please do a reaction video on "Autumn Strong" a song about separated lovers after WWII and also "Unforgettable Day" which is a song he composed when he was 17 years old. Some people say he was 19 but I just saw last night in an interview along side Terry Lin (another singer) after a Jackie Chan event that he said himself he was 17 when he composed it. Anyway, "Unforgettable Day" is phenomenal in my opinion!! I subscribed hoping you do more! Thank YOU!!
