Any chance of a steam function video?

ooh that's a tricky one cos of the models being so different for steam - which one do you have?

I am going to hijack this question, on the off chance @Tel0s-v21 has the same model 🤞🙃
I ordered an Instant Pot® Pro Crisp 8L today. It should arrive in 2 weeks max.
After doing a LOT of research, your tutorials were the final decider for this choice, Susan. Thank you SO much! My husband has joined me in binge watching your channel 😁
I am wondering if the Pro will be able to steam dumplings. And how to steam veges. Or anything else, for that matter.
Using an Instant Pot is a step into the unknown for us and we are especially appreciative of your CookingandCalm insights. Cheers to you! 🇦🇺🤗

Thanks for this! I might dig mine out of the cupboard again and see if it'll behave. I only really use it for cooking dried beans as it's so prone to giving me a burn notice for everything else. I de-glaze, I use (to my eyes!) enough liquid - it's a mystery. Maybe I need to make much runnier dishes in it then thicken them up afterwards. Anyway - you've inspired me to give it one last go! 🙂

Glad it was helpful and good luck. If you've done everything else, maybe try a replacement seal. It's possible the water is escaping and it's going dry despite putting enough in at the beginning. And yes, good idea, try more water then use saute to simmer it off at the end. Interested in how it goes 👍

why buy something and then leave it in the cupboard to gather dust, sorry don’t understand that at all.
