my favorite obscure planet type of the Imperium is; Salvage Worlds; Imperial worlds or moons that have been turned into scrapyards, for the Imperium's wreckage, dumped there by passing spaceships and a Salvage World's population pays their tithes by recycling this waste. - Planet wastebin...
Green Imperium
@@TheLostPrimarch well not really, since we got the; Chem and Rad worlds too...

My home brew custom world is a frontier world… I am glad you covered it!
That's awesome!
If I had to pick one, I’d probably pick forge worlds as being the most essential. Many types of worlds are important (as you mentioned, without agri worlds, hive cities would quickly starve), but without forge worlds, the Imperium’s war machine would grind to a screeching halt and there wouldn’t be anything to keep the enemies of the Imperium at bay. The defense of Ryza during the Heresy, for example, is one of the most incredible stories I’ve ever heard. To lose a forge world like Ryza would be an enormous setback for the Imperium. Especially since Ryza is rumored to be hoarding some very rare Warmonger-class titans in their secret arsenal. As I understand it, the Warmonger is a subtype of the Emperor/Imperator-class titan and is essentially irreplaceable.
Ooh! Can we get an episode on The Harrowing from you? I'd love to hear your narration on it!
Love your channel, can't wait for it to blow up man!
Actually here it is: ua-cam.com/video/GP9K09-prA4/v-deo.html
And thank you for the kind words!
LP, do you think all forge worlds have stc tech? or do those that dont have minerals that were wanted? do you think new planets are being colonized now, or were all colonized in previous
ages?
Forge worlds have STCs but not complete ones, ratge blueprints that allow them to manufacture certain things like combat knives for example. And yes, planets are still being actively colonized, just at a much slower pace.
Planet types have always been some part of the lore i actually wanted to know more about
By the throne brother you cant not leave me hanging like this!
Commentarium breve.
waste world is the most unrealistic of all, if u really have that amount of waste to dump and give enough fk to load it up in a spaceship to dump it somewhere, just go for the closest star
👍👍
Can say much regarding the planet types. It's merrily intermeshed! Many thanx...Nerd. 😂
I'm surprised that someone in the Administratum hasn't used some of the icy bodies in the Oort cloud to restore at least some of Terra's oceans and/or seas.
Hot take: Warhammer Fantasy is a Medieval world in 40k... And Sigmar is/was one of the Lost Primarchs.
That is actually one of the theories floating around, just look at Stormcast Eternals, literally Space Marines
If anyone has read Harry Harrison's "Deathworld" Trilogy, I'm sure that's where GW got the idea for Catachan.

Agriworlds would be the best place to live for a normal human. As long as there isn't a cult outbreak or genestealer infestation, life would be fairly normal.
