"Something more valuable than a dog?" You seriously underestimate the bond between a good ol boy and his dog
my thought exactly... my guy loves me but I share his heart with a blue eyed blonde (lab/weimaraner mix).... if he had to choose, I would soooo lose lol
I’d save my pets over anything material in my house.
Katie Lemos,
Amen. That was my first reaction when I heard that, too.
Fax
Even dogs steal n die
I agree with everyone suggesting Three Wooden Crosses - Randy Travis.
Randy Travis: 3 wooden Crosses
K Freeze yes.
Or Angels
Gary Tackett deeper than the holler. Forever and ever amen.
K Freeze great song!
I second this. I'm not even a Christian, but it's still a beautiful message of redemption.
When I was in the Army he came to Ft Campbell and performed for us. At the end of his show he didn't perform Ol'Red. Well, the whole division started chanting Ol'Red until he came back out and gave us Ol'Red.
What an amazing story dude...show's just the kind of man he is !
It's not everyday I run into someone with the last name Fennell...bc my birth name is Fennell as well. What a proud name ! 🍀
Don't doubt it at all
"Devil Went Down to Georgia" Charlie Daniels Band
YES!!!!!!!!!
I remember when DWD2G came out and one day I had gotten sick of it because they overplayed it to death. I was at work stocking shelves at the Piggly Wiggly and it came on my radio. I switched it from the country station to the rock station and about a minute later it came on there too so I switched to a pop station and about 15 seconds later it came on there. That's how damn big that song was.
Austin by Blake Shelton is a good one.
Luke Robertson feelsy too
Austin has to be my favorite Blake Shelton song.
I see this was made two weeks ago, yet this reaction just came out today, the 17th of August. How?
Makes me cry every single time😭
!!!
Please react to Thunder Rolls (long edition) by Garth Brooks. You won’t regret it.
Live version with the 3rd verse
You won't be able to find it. Garth doesn't release his music on UA-cam.
Josie Gallagher it’s on youtube. I’ve listened to it on here a couple times.
lol I did freestyle reining to that song, it was so much fun.
Yes I love that song
Chris Stapleton-Fire Away (with the video)
Thank you! ❤
DMarie2101 yes fire away is amazing by him please react to it
That video is heartbreaking! So incredibly sad but true for so many people
Funny thing: I was locked up in a Texas prison when this song came out...needless to say we all loved it!
Blake Shelton goodbye time is one of his better ones, and came here to forget.
The song that made Blake famous was Austin. Good song.
Yes please
Such a good song
I love Blake Shelton but I never like Austin!
Also this would be a huge deal for me. My grandma recently passed from cancer. She liked to watch your country reactions with me. Would you be able to do Alan Jackson's "Remember When"? Was one of her favorites.
Aaron Clapper That's a great song
Sorry about your Grandma. 😢
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Grandma had good taste.
Aaron Clapper_Sounds like your grandma knew her country music. Alan Jackson has a lot of great songs "Remember When" is at the top of those great ones. Sorry to hear of her passing.
That's a good song and the Grandma song
Blake Shelton ~ Sure Be Cool If You Did... one of my all time favs.
Try AUSTIN, by Blake Shelton. Another great country love story
Baby is another old good one from him
Blake's new one, God's Country (with music video) shows his vocal range and is more serious and honestly fantastic.
Yesssss, love, love, love that song! So powerful!
I've been waiting for this one! "Austin" and "The Baby" are two of his best songs. Btw though, this is a cover of George Jones
Jeremy Lilly I danced with my mom to "the baby" at my wedding. There wasn't a dry eye in the room.
The baby ALWAYS makes me cry
The baby kills me every time!
"The Baby" by Blake is what you're looking for.
The Baby by Blake Shelton Is about as serious as he gets. If this song doesn't pull your heart strings then you're a cold person.
The Baby - Blake Shelton.
Bet you will forever remember it, just give it a listen
Two guys that BLEEEEED positive energy. Thanks you guys.
You HAVE to do some Gary Allan. "It Ain't The Whiskey", "Life Ain't Always Beautiful", "Every Storm Runs Out Of Rain", "No Regrets". He's a highly under-rated artist because he doesn't play ball with execs who just want to make a buck.
Silverblade Dagger Hey I found your comment again lol. I still agree btw
Happy little coincidence, eh? I'd really like to see a reaction from someone not used to his songs. Not a simple reaction, but a thorough examination from someone unfamiliar with it, someone with fresh eyes. Hopefully, someone will do a reaction in the future. :D
Gary Allan is one of my favorites!! I have yet to hear him sing anything that I haven't liked!!
He can't quit her, watching airplanes, smoke rings in the dark...he has so many great songs..very underrated..been listening to him for years
Silverblade Dagger smoke rings in the dark or tough little boys
You guys should do Steve Earl- Copper Head Road.
Damn good choice!
Agreed!
Agreed!
Absolutely!
Yep
Cody jinks - must be the whiskey
Cody jinks - Loud and heavy ,
This is for sure an artists you don’t wanna miss !!!!!!
You will love these songs and this artist please please please do a review and reaction to this man !!! You won’t be let down !
My son is in law enforcement, and this is one of his favorite songs.😆
love you guys! my new favorite channel! #FREETHINKERS
There’s one that might not be playlist material, but it’s truly one of my favorite songs of all time.
Seven Spanish Angels - Willie Nelson ft. RAY CHARLES!!
Jamey Johnson: "High Cost of Living", Garth Brooks: "The Dance", Steve Earl: "Copperhead Road", Thanks Guys!!
CowTownCustoms good luck getting anything Garth Brooks on youtube. 😂 Im sure everyone would love that, but sadly i don't think it will happen anytime soon.
You guys should do Randy Travis Three Wooden Crosses
I love the wide range of music you guys cover. It just makes me happy to know that you guys are not just injoying this music but starring it with people who may not find this. Thank you guys I love every video you guys have posted
For Blake I would recommend:
She Wouldn’t Be Gone ***
Came Here to Forget ***
She’s got a way with words **
If you liked this, you need to hear A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash
That ain't no lie! Funny song!
BenOfficial 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😂
My paternal grandfather calls my brother Sue because of that song.
Great song
That is a fun song... Good sense of humor and just a good listen.
Some Beach - Blake Shelton. It's a comedic country song and I think you all will love it.
Csmal 1992 Blake himself has admitted to hating that song. He doesn't write his own music .
Please react to Brad paisley ft. Dolly Parton when I get where I'm going
support the blue #bluelivesmatter YES SO BEAUTIFUL
Pretty much any Brad Paisley song will do. Ticks, Water, anything like that.
Great song. Was played at my grandmas funeral
Hell yeah
support the blue #bluelivesmatter that song destroyed me the first time I heard it; right after my Papaw died.
Whether you review it or not, if you wanna know the parts to a country and western give a listen to "You Never Even Called me by my Name" by David Allen Coe. He pretty much gives the rules in that one.
Christopher Seifert One of my absolute favorites. My husband wants it played at his funeral, lol.
Austin by Blake Shelton. Awesome tune
I love this. Ol' Red is a classic, and probably some of Blake's best.
If I could give a recommendation, it would be Martina McBride's "Independence Day" or something by Eric Church.
drfreshey George jones did it better
Austin, Some Beach, Who are you when i'm not lookin' are also great Blake Shelton songs
Check out Brooks and Dune. Believe. It tells a great story
Ernie McGowin great one!!!
And cost of livin by Ronnie is great story also
One of my favorites!
Brooks and Dunn
Toby Keith. How do you like me now.... awesome song. Would be a great reaction
DonnaSue Jansma I Love This Bar or I Ain’t As Good As I Once Was.
Hell yeah. I personally am on a Toby Keith kick right now. "How do you like me now" is the only song that my mom likes by him.
Lol....Running Block....now that's a funny song.
Courtesy of the red white and blue
Toby Keith
If u like a story....this one's it
Soooo glad you guys did this. You two are a blast.
George Jones - the one I loved back then (corvette song)
Great Tune!
Ryan Dodge..omg yes!
High cost of living - Jamey Johnson... Come on guys...gonna love it
Careful with Blake Shelton. He has some very good songs, but he also has some very commercial pop-country songs as well.
Tyler Stokes thats my opinion on him
Most anything pre-haircut is safe lol
That's what he's turned into, but old school blake is definitely country
Tyler Stokes so true
Old Blake is amazing. New Blake has fallen to the bro country label. Which sucks.
I have literally sit now for over 3 hours straight watching you guys review and react to different genres of music, this is truly the greatest one I have seen you guys react to up to this point. I loved both your reactions to this. I have appreciated this song for years and you're right it's purely a fun song. Just seeing you guys crack up several times made me laugh out loud myself. Just like you said most country music is :lost my wife, my truck died, dag got shot, and other shit like that and it was really nice to see you guys get to appreciate one of the good ol' fun country song without the heavy undertones.
The greatest tear jerker in all of Classic Country music...
"Teddy Bear", by Red Solvine
Always a favorite song of mine! He definitely has more serious songs, like "Austin," but a goal of his was to bring his kind of goofy, sarcastic demeanor across in his music.
I love that song!
Steve Earle - Copperhead Road!!!
Jamie Johnson: Between Jennings and Jones
I lived it - Blake Shelton
You’ll love it
For those who may not know, Blake Shelton has a restaurant in my hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma by the name of “Ol’ Red”. Live music and great food. He has a second one due to open soon in Nashville, Tn.
My life gets more and more complete with every country reaction.
Don’t take the girl tim McGraw
Indian Outlaw!!
They have actually find this one. I recommend looking it up.
Check out "Austin". Unfortunately Blake got kind of commercialized in recent years, but that one is a classic.
I think so many people think this is what every country song Is about the dog, truck, cheating, this is like a fun/silly song for us not serious, its our mambo #5. Thank y'all for always being open minded, love your videos!
Boys round here....one of his best
Blake Shelton - Austin!
I agree. I think Austin is his best song
Please do "This Cowboy's Hat" by Chris LeDoux, it is one of the best songs!
Wicked Green they already did
Nope. Just searched the channel, came up with nothing. Nevertheless, I agree with Wicked Green, this is one they gotta do!
This Cowboy's Hat is a great song. Another great song that's kind of similar is The Guitar by Guy Clark. I would love it if they would react to both of them. Rip Chris LeDoux and Guy Clark both.
What a song that is
Loveeee that song
High cost of livin jamey Johnson
SGT MAVERICK Great song
Well written about his story
One of my all time favorite songs. This song also introduced me to cody jinks and whitey morgan
My favorite Blake Shelton song is "The Baby." It's a tear jerker, and it really shows off Blake's vocal chops.
Love u lost n Vegas. We country folk. We love u guys.
Gotta check out Chris laduex "this cowboys hat" and/or graig morgan "almost home" both hall of fame country songs.
Garth Brooks~Papa Loved Mama
Talk about a good story tellin song, and it's funny! "He never hit the brakes and he was shiftin' gears" lmao
Foghorn Nosehorn good luck finding Garth on UA-cam. I love him but he makes it super hard to find his music
3 wooden crosses by randy Travis pleaseee!
Yes!
I just asked them to do the very same thing LOL
3 wooden crosses!!! I would love to see them react to that song.
YES! That's an awesome song for them to do.
Yes
As soon as you paused it I knew you were going to say that it reminded you of Life! It's my favorite movie.
Blake Shelton, Who Are You When I'm Not Looking is lovely.
Concrete Angel by Martina McBride
Alyssa Lies- By Jason Michael Carroll
boblovestohateyou yes!!
YES! I just said that on one of their other videos!
Very strong choices
Both great choices, also Independence Day by Martina McBride. I loved their reaction video to her singing A Broken Wing.
You trying to kill them?
Home Blake Shelton
One of my favorites too man, great old song.
This one!!!!
Do this song, it has so much emotion and feeling!
Uncle Lucius-Keeping the Wolves Away
One of the best songs put to record.
Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley have a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor-filled songs. Check out Blake's "Boy's Round Here" and "Hillbilly Bone" and Brad's "Celebrity", "I'm Gonna Miss Her" and "Alcohol". For more serious songs, Blake's "Austin", "Home" (which is a remake of the Michael Buble song), and "Mine Would Be You." Also Blake and his ex, Miranda Lambert co-wrote a song that she recorded called "Over You" that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I lived it - Blake Shelton. Killer song
Travis Tritt - "Best of Intentions," "Love of a Woman," "Foolish Pride," or "Help Me Hold On."
There's tons of great songs from him that would be great to listen to.
Gutslinger Help Me Hold on for sure.
Yes! Any of them!!
FREETHINKNATION
React to Midland - Drinkin' Problem
Good song, but I think "Make a Little" is a little better IMO.
Burn out
Yes!
vince gill - go reast high on that mountain
the eagles - seven bridges road
jason isbell - something more than free
jewel tr dolly parton - my father's daughter
I love your page. Love how you guys cover all kinds of music
You guys are freaking hilarious. Love your guys channel much love
react to "Riding with private Malone" by David Ball
Mulberryman yes!!!!! 🙌🏻 that song gives me chills every time
Yes!
I agree!
I love "private malone".
Seriously was gonna comment that.
This son " 'Ol Red" is about the hounds they have had for decades at Angola State Penitentiary here in Louisiana. It's literally in a swamp and is accessed by ferry. I have friends who work there who can take you to the dog cemetery.
My husband was actually locked up (in prison in Ky) with a dog they used in this video. They used a few of course.
Blackberry Smoke!!!!! Ain't much left of me or Waiting for the Thunder!!!!!
Literally one of the best stories ever sang...
Austin is another great Blake Shelton old school song! On a side note, I just discovered your channel and have watched and commented on several today...feel like a stalker. lol
Seven spanish angels
Almost all country songs tell a story. The stereotypical, of course, are of love, loss, trucks, and trains. But it also has its own sound. The acoustic guitar, steel guitar, mandolin, and the occasional banjo provides the twang of strings before the voice (twangy or not) even starts. Anyway here is a list for you to check out... all of which tells stories to varying degrees.
Three Wooden Crosses - Randy Travis - Top of the list. You NEED this one. First country artist to cross into the pop charts (though not with this song).
Wild at Heart - Gloriana - Just cause it is early in the list and one of my all time favorite songs. Plus it is upbeat and ya'll need that in your country selection. Great vocals.
Riding with Private Malone - David Ball - Gut wrenching song about cars.
The Bluest Eyes in Texas - Restless Heart - The Harmonies will kill you.
Walking in Memphis - Lonestar - Great band with great vocals. Song is a cover.
Independence Day - Martina McBride - You've already done one song by her and she kills it in this one too!
Almost Home - Craig Morgan - It is just a good song. Can't describe it beyond that.
Chain of Love - Clay Walker - Just a good, wholesome, beautiful song.
NickGreyden all excellent songs and great job on the explanation of country music. I think this is country music by Brad Paisley is an excellent way to define country music
Thank you for recommending David Ball and Clay Walker. I think their both great and underrated artists. Two other underrated artists from the same era as them that I would also love to hear them react to are Hal Ketchum and Radney Foster. I saw Foster in concert last year and I actually got to meet him briefly. He's one of the nicest, most down to earth, people I've ever met in my life.
Play You never even call me by my name
'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' by Charlie Daniels or 'Amos Moses' by Jerry Reed please
OMG YESSS I PLAYED THIS SONG FOR STRAIGHT UP NY ITALIANS AND THEY FREAKED OUT, IT WAS GREAT
I love amos moses. It has been covered by a few artists to say the least. My favourite is by the sensational alex Harvey band
HOLY SHIT. I completely forgot about Amos Moses. Thank you so much for bringing that song back to me.
I would really love to see you watch Darius Rucker. First, "Wagon Wheel" is a cover (a really good one) from a band called Old Crow Medicine Show. It's about a guy hitchhiking back to his girl. This song makes me happy whenever I listen to it. The next song is "All I Want" is also a very fun song about a guy fed up with his relationship and taking his life back. If you want a 3rd one, it's from when he was the singer in a rock band named Hootie & the Blowfish called "Let Her Cry". It's a really good song, though it hits me in the feels when I hear it.
"Wagon Wheel" is a Bob Dylan song.
Yeah, one he never finished or recorded other than a demo of the chorus. OCMS are the ones who turned it into a proper song.
You guys are literally the only reaction videos I enjoy! Thanks for the great content. 👊
The early Blake Shelton is pretty good, later albums, not so much. I would recommend Cody Jinks. He is amazing and has that classic sound and tells amazing stories.
You should check out Garth Brooks "papa loved Mama."
Truth.
My 1st fave by Garth!
THIS SONG GOT ME EVERYTIME
One of my faves
Yes! Please!!!!!
This was absolutely fun watching you guys get the story....I knew what was coming and you were hilarious as the story unfolded....great review.
The Baby by Blake Shelton
And stuck in my head
This would be a good one
Yesssss
This song makes me cry everytime I hear it
YES!!!! PLEASE!!!!!
Lynyrd skynyrd simple man
Jake Mustian they just did it . you should aee it soon. Bout 3 weeks.
They should do four walls of raiford
Other good Big Country bands:
Brooks and Dunn, Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, Kenny Chesney etc.
Peter Brown minus Chesny.
Garth is like the best.
Can’t forget the Oakridge Boys and Conway Twitty.
Vocalist wise brooks and dunn are the best. Garth has some great #1s
Thomas Guice is actually venture to say the Oakridge Boys are the best vocalists. Can’t beat Base singer Richard Stutban’s voice, and he’s nearly 75. Only Home Free’s Tim Faust might actually have a deeper voice. Faust is known to break sound equipment because of how low he can actually go.
Don't forget Alabama. They were incredible.
My list is:
1. George Strait
2. Garth Brooks
3. Alan Jackson
4. Brooks and Dunn
5. Tracy Lawrence
6. Kenny Chesney (old)
Don't close your eyes by- Keith Whitley
Hell yeah. I love Keith Whitley
Keith is the man! I also like the Lorrie Morgan tribute cover of that song to her husband.
I love this song it's my favorite thanks for the reaction
Ahh, a flash back to when you reacted to songs people gave a shit about. Very refreshing.
Trace adkins your gonna miss this
SGT MAVERICK Amazing story and well written
George Jones did this song on a album in 1990.it didn't do much for him but he did a simpler version of it....thanks guys!!!
As far as great story telling goes, check out "El Paso" by Marty Robbins.
mike sikes One of my favorites.
I definitely agree. I've been trying to get them to do this one for a little while now.
Great one!
El Paso city is the sequel to El Paso. Good song as well
Any Marty Robbins song is good as far as story telling goes. I think The Masters Call is probably my favorite
"Go on Cletis" killed me 😂😂 thats my name
She wouldn't be gone - Blake Shelton
He's one of my all time favorites and ol red just kinda makes me feel like a badass when I listen to it.
React to Darius Rucker!!!
Paige Black "If I Told You" 😍😍
Darius Rucker, anything but not that tired Wagon Wheel, which is a no brainer, but it's not representative. Darius Rucker is the lightest, funniest, party country singer on the planet
Hootie and the Blowfish you mean, hahaha.
Gydie Does Donuts No, I mean Darius Rucker, he made his own music separate from that.
Paige Black whooosh
