You missed the best part....'love got me IN, and love got me OUT'. Meaning Ol' Red's love for his lady enabled the prisoner to get out of prison.
The best line of the song
Yea u got it!!! Great story! Love Blake!
Blake's "Some Beach" and "Austin".
The Baby
I'm a fan of Blake Shelton and Ol' Red.
Man just talked straight threw one of the best lines "love got me in here and love got me out" lmfao
Of course Blake is telling stories... its country that's how that shit worked lol
Except it was originally a George Jones song try again 😂😂
my mom and grand pa love to say "a bitch got me in here and a bitch got me out" 😂
Thank you for doing this one. I owe you one.
A few of my Blake Shelton favorite songs: "Goodbye Time," "Austin," and "The Baby."
The Baby 😭
I liked his version of goodbye time! I always thought he had a Conway vibe.
@@Cowboy580 That's my favorite one. I didn't even know it was originally a Conway song until a couple of years ago. Lol
The Baby makes me bawl!
Holla his bar he owns is also called “Ol’ Red” pretty good spot
When you get around to trace adkins check out the song welcome to hell in the song he is putting himself as the devil greeting Osama bin laden when he says welcome to hell
Like Dolly Parton not owning Dollywood. Blake doesnt actually own Ole Red. He's paid for his endorsement
Blake Shelton. Gods country 💯❤️
Love got me in here and love got me out.!! Love this reaction!!!
So love this song ..thanku so much love your fabulous channel thanku love an god bless x
This was the first song I heard by Blake. He da man!
Great song, so clever🐕💙❤
Great reaction. Keep them comin.
The one who played his "cousin" is retired Nascar Driver Elliot Sadler who is friends with Blake Shelton who was also makes a cameo in Blake Shelton's song "Some Beach" video.
Yes man young Blake love this song man so good 💞
I didn't figure this out until a couple of years ago, but this was originally a George Jones song. I also didn't figure out that Blake Shelton's song "Goodbye Time" was originally a Conway Twitty song until a couple of years ago. Love that song.
Blake uses a lot of other artists' songs. He stole a Joe Nichols song a few years back and made it a number one, when it was originally Joe's. He's done this for *years*.
Yes I love young blake and this song is so cool ❤💞
Blake Shelton did not write this song but it is one of my favorite songs that he does perform..........
Reba Mcintyre-the night the lights went out in Georgia
Great story song, just don't do the video- too much talking over the lyrics in the video
@@steveg7066 I agree with this. The video is great but you pretty much have to know the song already or you miss the important parts of the song. I Love The Night the Light Went Out in Georgia.
I think Vicky Lawrence’s version, the original one, is much better..
Love this song!!
Love me some Blake ❤️ This song is great!!
You make me laugh!🤣🤣🤣
JOHN ANDERSON- SEMINOLE WIND
YESSSSS, MY FAVORITE SONG WHEN I WAS 13!
Oh man took me to a great time in 7th grade too!!'!!'!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️this song &John Anderson
Love this song by Blake. He explained it's significance of it on The Voice. One of his first hits. Love it!
if you do more Blake Shelton, ya gotta do "Austin"
also someone mentioned John Anderson. that'd be another good one to do. another classic with a very distinct voice. "Seminole Wind" (do the music video), "Swingin'", "Straight Tequilla Night"
Straight Tequila Night! Yeahhhh 😍
Another great song “God’s Country” 👍
I love when somebody gets it.....
Yeah she was the good stuff
Country singers always tell stories and Blake does a little rapping too.
Blake’s the best
That's a young Blake
The baby by him is a beautiful song .
this song was based on a real escape from an inmate who did just what the guy did in the song while taking care of the hound dog that tracked escapees .
Blake shelton - austin
I have always loved ❤ the story of this song lol
The Baby by Blake was his first hit
Back in the 90 I went to Greenville, South Carolina to the Blind Horse Saloon to watch Blake Shelton perform live and the one thing I will always remember is that I was just standing about 2 feet from him even though he was just getting started he was a big hit back then too and yes he did have a long mullet too. No one will never be able to get close to Blake Shelton like that again because once he started he blew up but old red was his number one song and watching him perform was awesome. It was a pleasure to watch Blake Shelton perform live but anyway I love your reaction.
But I will put a picture up here that I took of him back then and one more thing when I bought one of his shirts with Old Red on it after he signed it we were able to take a picture together and I know I will never be able to see Blake Shelton like that again and the way that he interact with people was awesome I love his performances.
Not many folks catch all the lyrics, nice job.
TIM MCGRAW- DONT TAKE THE GIRL
I SECOND THIS
When you go to Gatlinburg you need to go to Ole Red. Nice place and they give alot of the local talent and Team Blake from The Voice a place to play their music.
Agreed sir agreed
Country music was all about story telling. Check out Kenny Rogers "Coward of the County".
This was the first song I heard from him, back in the 90s. As for as the reason he is in there. Good reason. Check out Tom Jones "Delilah".
Another well written country song!
It did. Gent up in Harlan County Kentucky. Guy busted out of a prison in Georgia.
It's always better in my opinion to watch the movie/video versions to country music artists songs because they often hide or show you secret things you don't get from just seeing/hearing lyrics.
Yes, the girl dog was to distracted Red lol
I'd love to see you react to Dion Payton & the 43rd St Blues Band's All Your Affection Is Gone Live & Jason O'Donnell's Her Heart Still Haunts Me. Thanks.
Blake Shelton Came here to forget is hot .. also boys round here and Gods Country
Blake Shelton-The Baby
Have been missing you.
The best Blake Sheldon story son is "The Baby". But you will NEED some tissues listening to that one.
The prison he was singing about closed before the GA law changed. When the prison was open a man who killed his wife when he caught her cheating would have been freed under the crime of passion laws.
💙💙💙
You should react to Blake Sheltons "The Baby"
Check out Reba Macentire's Fancy and her song called The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia
Country music is FULL of story songs. Charlie Daniels had stuff like The Devil Went Down to Georgia, its sequel, The Devil Came Back To Georgia, and The Legend of Wooly Swamp. Garth loves 'em. He's got stuff like Lonesome Dove, Alabama Clay, Belleau Wood... Every country artist, at least the more old school ones, have story songs...
david allan coe "if that aint country" ... its a good song :)
Ol Red in the video is a full blooded Blood hound. That breed of dog are the best trackers known to man.
And I know you already reacted to the Miranda Lambert Over You but I want you to react to Blake Shelton singing Over You Live in concert because the song is not about miranda lambert it's about Blake Shelton, his brother passed away when Blake was only 14 in a car accident then the same year that this song was released his dad died of cancer.
3rd rock from the sun by joe diffie
Blake looked pretty good with that longer hair, maybe he should grow his out, lol.
Dude, treat yourself to this. Big n Rich "Rollin'" live from CMA's. You'll love it...lil twist with a crossover
Your reactions are great. This was an instant favorite of mine - story is great.
Great reaction! Loving the country reactions.
You need to do Johnny Cash - A Boy Named Sue.
Amen to that! 👌
For sure
Haha! People don't know that song...but is soooo good!! Haha!!
I worked at a high security unit in Huntsville, Tx. The inmates train and take care of those dogs. They're damn sure tracking machines. They will call out Texas Department of Corrections. TDC to find ppl who run from the prison or officers in the free world.
You need to listen to Queen...We are the champions.. live Aid concert
You should hear the original 'Ol' Red' song done by George Jones.
Maybe you should check out some Steve Wariner. Not as popular as the rest, but some damn good music. Kansas City Lights, By Now, Your Memory, Leave Him Out Of This (that one might get your blood boilin') kind of a Keith Whitley "Don't Close Your Eyes" feel.
Reba Mcentire's It's Your Call music video. It's stunning
Would love to know if that is Naomi Judd singing with him.
Miranda Lambert is in this song too lol
You know George Jones sang this song first and then Kenny Roger's covered it, and those versions weren't that popular but when Blake covered it, it became popular!
Ya gotta listen to The Boys Round Here! He country raps in it
New sub fire reaction
love his songs you should listen to Honey bee
I felt like it but had my kids to think about 💀
You should listen to Blake Sheltons Baby and Austin.
Check out the song All Over Me by Blake Shelton. Thanks.
I had a woman ask me why men call each other dawgs before and I told her I said" you know how you women are always saying all men are dogs?" She said, " yeah what about it?" I said, " Well, we are just agreeing with you and admitting that we are dawgs! "
Could you please react to Blake Shelton Boys 'round here.
Need to hear,,by him This is God's land
Okay. I gotta ask. Is that a Medieval Times souvenir picture behind you?
Need to listen to Austin by blake
Now do Boy’s Round Here!!!
Check out his latest hit gods country Blake is great love his music
He actually already reacted to Gods country
There is ALWAYS some truth behind a country song.
Check out 'Down From Dover' by Dolly Pardon and 'Jenny's Afraid of the Dark' by Dolly Pardon and Porter Wagnoner.
Let me know whatcha think about them two.
Did you know that this is a remake and this song put him on the map
You need to listen to Bobby Womack, Arkansas State Prison. If you want to hear about a Prison escape song.
Blake is on the voice every mon& tue. . So is the girl he's fixing to marry. Gwen Stefani. Love this song.💗💗💗
My husband suggest you listen to Mississippi Squirrel (his favorite) by Ray Stevens...or any other one of his songs! I'm new, but damn I love your videos!
How are you not on Jelly Roll yet? Son ... Do Fall in the Fall and then don't stop reacting to Jelly Roll ... FIRE!!! Certified Musical Genius. On God!
Man you gotta check out some Travis Tritt. Another country great from the 90s
Its actually an old george Jones song
This is a George Jones Special but I like Blake’s version.
You should try Travis Tritt "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde"
Reba Mcintyre-Turn on the radio
I think you might like Johnny Cash singing A boy named Sue.
lmfao you missed that this is a true story 😭
I was about to say that!!!!!!!!!
Old Red Catcha Freeman.
