@@essersgamingcave I went for a mix of offensive and defensive, managed to get Mecatol Rex, research war suns, and after a 9h long game... I won! So thank you 😂🙏
Handy guide! Helped me get my first TI win in a 6 player 10 point game. Defensive path, with lots PDS2 placed in and around my home system and a tech related stage 2 victory condition. Managed to get a round 2 Mechatol point via gravity drive as a nice bonus.
Jol-Nar just has really bad starting units when it comes to the number of infantry. Goal round one is to get more infantry out. But yes, the plans could have been more varied

Hi. How is it that having 5 influence you pay 6 in mecatol rex?
I don't remember the specifics in this video. But yes you need 6 influence to land on Mecatol. Maybe I had a Trade good as well? :)
