Should clean all the hoses since everything is off and spray silicone spray in everything. It'll keep all rubber and hoses hydrated and from future cracks.. Walmart sells silicone spray in a green can. $5.99
Ive done 3 trails so far and it hasn't overheated. I believe the first trails it went a little above half and I think it was due to me not bleeding the coolent correctly.
Ive done 3 since I responded 😅 and regular trail rides in over 100 degree weather. It won't get the full beans until my glamis trip in October. I will for sure update my channel if it fails.
My 23 X3 is overheating a lot! The radiator is clear and clean, fans come on, and coolant is full. I’m thinking the thermostat is stuck shut for whatever reason.. I trail ride and mud in mine. Do you think this kit will help me?

Someone said removing the rear passanger seat may give you access. I have a bench seat and I didn't give it a try
did your tstat delete solve your overheating issue?
Yes car has been running well. I believe my overheating was indeed from air in the system which was caused by the leaking thermostat.

Thanks for letting me know I've actually never heard of that. Luckily I haven't riveted the skid plate yet and will check that out

So….. you take out passenger seat and remove the back panel and have access to that area…… no rivet drilling needed
That's very good to know for future reference. Unfortunately, I have a bench seat, and it's a hassle to remove it to get in that area.
