I think it's good that idols are open about their plastic surgery, there is such a high pressure in looking "beautiful" naturally, which hurts peoples self confidence. We need to realize that people got plastic surgery, and that it's not natural sometimes

People can’t choose their looks so when someone happens to be naturally very pretty than good for them but it‘s not an achievement they made themselves but just got freely for nothing. It‘s just a matter of luck and everyone deserves to look the way they want and be pretty! Nobody is born perfect and everyone enhances their looks no matter how they look! People really have to stop this „natural beauty“ is superior and people who got plastic surgery are „less pretty“ mindset. It really hurts.

People needed to be reminded that most of these idols fit in it because of PS and that it's not entirely natural. I always wanted to say this, maybe this is the right time to say ; they improved there physical appearance through plastic surgery and made it look like what society demands, there physical appearance which might or might not be in according to the standards of society have nothing to do with 'beauty' . Beauty is subjective, beauty for me is what kind of a human being a person is, there deeds defines there beauty for me not there appearance! They all looks great and have a perfect physical appearance according to standards of society but you don't know whether they are beautiful or not because you don't personally know them!

This just goes to show, that when you are open and honest as a celebrity about your plastic surgery, you are much more likely to have a positive reaction, rather than outright denying or staying silent on it even thought it is obvious to everyone's eye
I think it's kind of funny how people when they see a pretty male idol don't question how natural their looks are, while when they see a pretty female idol it's automatically assumed that she definitely has had some job done

I am sure males have surgeries but I think more females get it done than males. Sometimes you can tell in both males and females. For males, I think they get their jaws done the most. But I also think there are many natural females and male idols who didn't have any surgery and were beautiful ever since their debut.

chaeyeon is a good example of plastic surgery enhancing appearance rather than changing it, when i look at her old photos she looks the same but of course there are some differences, she’s pretty either ways in my opinion but maybe she fits the standard more now

I didn't know Eunbi has plastic surgery but to be honest she was still my bias and that will never be change, she is so PPRETTY.
Edit: Wow! Thank you. I became a fan of Eunbi when she was still in PD48 and i was so amazed by her dancing skills and Eunbi has the grace effect in which her dance is came with grace, well this is just from what i analyzed.

In the case of Heechul, the rhinoplasty was due to an accident as mentioned. His nose didn't really look much different before or after. While it is plastic surgery, I'm not sure if it could be considered enhancing plastic surgery. It was primarily for medical purposes.

Jooe did became prettier but lost her "uniqueness" ... Her unique visuals back then is what made me pay attention to her more than prettier members. I was really drawn in with her unique visual back then, for me it made her stand out from the rest.

In my opinion Joee didn’t need a plastic surgery. She was beautiful the way she was. To be honest all girls of MOMOLAND are gorgeous. But the fact that Joee came straight forward with it and be honest about it. Makes her stand out from the rest. This deserves respect!

Wow! Prop to these idols for speaking up. I think you should be proud whether you are natural or your choices. As long as you chose to do it and not force by anyone. The Standard of beauty in Korea is on a diff level so for those in the entertainment it is really hard not to get at least 1 thing done. Their faces are being zoomed in and picked out for any negatives by the anti-fans. i hope also hope the fan needs the recognize the culture and reality that because the standard even normal people are hooking into the surgery as well so they can't argue that their fav idols are nature. after seeing Sakuras change, i've been 50/50 on the changes some do, since I liked Sakuras apperance before but might just be me (no hate, i've followed her since her hkt day), but hearing them talking openly is just amazing, and small things can make a huge change
It's okay to do plastic surgery but they do also need a consultation and therapist so they don't overdo it. What therapist do is to boost the idol confidence so they wouldn't feel insecure and do more plastic surgery until it get worse

Idols should be allowed to do what they’d like without feeling pressure, if that’s plastic surgery then I think it’d be cool of them to say so when they do. If only to document and be happy and excited and share their happiness. It can be comforting to hear approval “it’s okay if you want to change something abt yourself to make yourself happier and more satisfied”
In my eyes there is nothing wrong with having an edge over everybody in such a competitive industry. Plastic surgery is personal choice. Although I would prefer people to admit that they got something done but in the end it's their personal choice to not disclose it.
