Edit: I believe the photos she showed were shown from different angles so it was hard to tell whether her nose changed her face or the blonde. She’s not ugly with blonde hair, just prettier with black hair. It’s horrible to claim she’s ugly. I still think the nose job was unnecessary and her old nose fit her better but she’s still not ugly so there’s nothing to worry about. I still prefer black hair over blonde hair.

ashleyramk hi there ! Idk about her lips but u know "makeup world" - we can make our lips look small or big. There are variety way to make it. Like lip liner . And one thing I know about Korean teenagers makeup - they always apply their lipstick at inner parts only : to make it look small. But now it seem like Jooe makeup nowadays - her lipstick style using the western lips style like Kardashians/Jenner family . We can draw outside our lips with lip liner and make it look bigger ^^ and after that just filled in w lipstick :D it's all makeup tricks my dear ! We can do anything we want ~ if we can cover our acne with concealer or foundation . Then why can't we make our lips look bigger ? Hehe

Think the problem with plastic surgery in Korea is that they're not thinking about what will actually look good on their own faces. They all want one certain type of nose, or eyes, or face, etc, cause they just assume that it will automatically look good on their face. This is why korea needs a wider beauty standard. There are plenty of pretty girls in Korea who never get acknowledged cause they don't fit that one beauty standard, but not everyome can unless they completely uproot their face and put an entirely new one on it.
Exactly! It's like a checklist, not about the facial harmony. Someone (imo) could have "ugly" or unconventional features, but if they somehow go well together, then that's what makes them beautiful in my eyes.

I dont that believe that JooE is a ugly idol. She is really pretty. I'm not a hard stan of Momoland but I don't even think they are problematic. They've had a few scandals and a lot of unnecessary hate sent their way and now they are labeled problematic? I know they've made mistakes but it would be nice to see people be more forgiving on them and not hate. If you are going to try and educate someone there is no reason to hate on then either. I agree with you on that. I’m not a hard Stan of MMLD or a Stan but I do defend that. Hating isn’t the same as correcting but some of their scandals were due to miss angled cameras and footage that was edited to look like they were doing a certain thing.
What's sad and disappointing is that most of those 'scandals' are just misunderstandings that those people who throws unnecessary hate doesn't have time to do proper research and understand what truly happened 😒 I'm not a fan of mmld but I can't stand seeing them labeled problematic when their rumors were already debunked.ppl just love to hate
What's become problematic was their image has been tainted badly by those 'scandals'. Aside from that, here in the PH, their music (esp. Bboom Bboom and BAAM) was kinda overexposed and they were highly sexualised, especially Nancy. I didn't have any interest on them because of this, and I wish I didn't see those nasty comments ffs they were teenagers that time! Ironically, their recent activities in our country made me appreciate their personalities and their music. I wish their agency treats them better.
