It was looking so delicious I too forgot all about the bacon.Cooked a whole pack of bacon to put on my one and only hamburger and the grandkids ate all the bacon so I ended up with a plain cheeseburger 🍔

Pulled the trigger on this, have the Blackstone 22"inch E . Also found a silicone hand scraper as well. Works good and a little easier to use than the spatula for clean-up. Thanks for the demo and recommendation.
Todd that was amazing! I can’t wait to get my E series for my camper to go with my 28 inch blackstone w/ air fryer. I’m thinking of doing pattymelts today on the blackstone outside. Thanks Paul from Winfield Pennsylvania.

Just seen this. Salivating like a hound. Nicely done. Yep, bacon and ketchup. Like my Chinese chef father in law used to say “ ear the fat, it lubricates the brain”. Didn’t know that Blackstone made electric. When the Presto gives up the ghost, we’ll be going E series.

BUT!!! I’m going to go get my new
E-Series griddle. Indoor or outside.
That’s very nice. We live in south Arizona where it is HOT!! all summer so we don’t use the 36”. Now to able to use this in the summer indoors 👍🏻. Thank you Todd

OMG you just convinced me I have to have this grill. While I have the one outside and use it but one inside is perfect for days here in Sunny Florida that it’s too hot or rainy to be outside. Off to Walmart since Our Lowes doesn’t have it. Thank you!!!

Funny Best Foods Mayo is the equivalent of Dukes Mayo. Same Manufacture just sold in different region!

Since my Blackstone is covered in snow. I may have to check out the E-Series.
It works very well. It is absolutely no way for the outdoor Blackstone BUT it works very well for what it is. The best indoor griddle I have ever used by far. Just don't expect the same experience as a backyard 36"
I continue to use mine though because it works great when I don't feel like going outside.
I cannot believe you didn't use Dukes Mayo, but used Heinz Ketchup!! lol Those patty melts are primo!!! I had to laugh about the bacon! I was like, "why did he cook bacon?" lol Anyway, great recipe, fun vid, thanks for sharing Todd! Keep on griddlin'

All I can say is DAMN I wish you lived next door I'd sell my griddles and be your permeant dinner guests and throw away my cooking utensils hey but don't worry I'd bring the red wine.

It looks amazing Todd! Just got the 36” air fryer over the holidays. I love it and enjoy learning new recipes and how to use it. It has also helped me with my new diet and grilling vegetables! Makes the healthier recipes fun to make. Everything has been delicious. However the sweet heat chlli dog recipe is in the works too! Keep the videos coming and maybe the 2022 tour with be near one day. 😀

You're right Todd mayo is mayo dukes It is good but So is hellmen's and So is krafts. Just like oils you put on the griddle they're all the same.

Patty melts are traditionally made with light rye bread which gives that unique taste. The best mayo is Best Foods west of the Mississippi river and Hellman's East of the Mississippi. My Dad always liked Miracle Whip, which is not mayonnaise but you couldn't tell him that.

Mayonnaise, ketchup no problem. However the most offensive move was forgetting the bacon. I don’t know if I can forgive you. 🐷 I guess to be forgiven we need to forgive. Looks great Todd with and without the bacon.
You can tighten the screw on one of the ends of ur cheese slicer to tighten the wire.(happened on mine) good lookin sammy!!

Best patty melt I ever had was elk meat
Duke's Mayo isn't all over the USA, I grew up with Mom making Patty Melts and Grilled Cheese with Miracle Whip and I thought those were awesome. Now as an Adult, I toast both sides of the bread while I'm warming up the Griddle, then I'll cook the patties 'n cheese, remove the patties and plant the toasted bread down in the grease and flip, then put the patty on the grease soaked sides of the bread, then I add a little Garlic Butter to the griddle and and flip the whole Sandwich until golden brown... see My Kids could make comments "about the right way to do a Patty Melt" but I told them there's no right or wrong here it's COOKING...you make what you like or you make what you feel.
Hey there - It is now. I travel and cook for a living and I've bought Duke's everywhere. Whereas it was originally just in the Southeast, it's pretty much everywhere now. I live in Colorado and we've had it here at all stores from Walmart to Safeway for the past several years. I buy it on the west coast, etc. when cooking on the road. God bless.

In fact I still have some of the Software I used to find ANYTHING in a Walmart, and ALL of the 7 Stores have 3 Day Shipping ... I'm NOT trying to make an issue but, if I have to order it and wait 3 days...why not just make my own FRESH? Have you ever tried Fresh Homemade Mayo? I'm pretty sure it's better than something mass produced.😄
