Thank you so much for watching!! For the burgers, we had it at around 530 degrees, and after the 10 second press, we let these sit for a hit a minute and then flipped them. If you don’t see a “dark sear,” keep them on that side u til they look dark brown on the first side. Flip them and place the cheese to melt and cook an additional 2-3 minutes. (That is for these “thicker” burgers, less time for true Smashburgers). Hope this helps!!

I've been tweeking mine for burger and usually smash burgers around 420. That screaming heat you said around 500 I think will give my burger (and cheese!) a better cust. thanks bros!
Well, I know what's for dinner tomorrow night! I just got my Blackstone a few weeks ago, and can't wait to try this one. I usually also put some 1000 island (homemade), mixed with a little Dijon when I do a Patty Melt. Perhaps I will try it without this time.
Same thing happened to me with onions. I don't know what happened, but i HATED them. I would puke when i even see them, grilled or raw. I don't know what was happening, but i was running on no food for like 2 days and needed something, so i got a whataburger patty melt and i told them to take off the onions. They forgot but that taste of sauteed onions was so fucking delicious on an empty stomach that i ate them forever and still do Hell, i ate so many patty melts that i ended up getting type 2 diabetes from it. I'm cured now, well, in remission but still counts, and i make sure to never allow it to happen again lol

HOWEVER- now that I’ve seen you can use a larger meatball to get a thicker burger that turns out perfectly round- I’m sold and I’ll keep it! Yes! I had this press before I started getting my other accessories - I originally didn’t like it for Smashburgers - I found that smaller meat balls came out too small and thick, but with larger meatballs, this is the perfect size. Thank you so much for watching!🤙🤙

Haha!! Great question! We feel fortunate that almost all of these cooks do turn out - usually through trial and error - we honestly thought on this one the bread was going to be burned, but it worked out. We actually have a cook coming up that we had to “alter” a small pot because we burned some of it (we’ll explain in that vid😜). We love though the more we cook, the better to food gets!

Yes! I had this press before I started getting my other accessories - I originally didn’t like it for Smashburgers - I found that smaller meat balls came out too small and thick, but with larger meatballs, this is the perfect size. Thank you so much for watching!🤙🤙

Haha!! Great question! We feel fortunate that almost all of these cooks do turn out - usually through trial and error - we honestly thought on this one the bread was going to be burned, but it worked out. We actually have a cook coming up that we had to “alter” a small pot because we burned some of it (we’ll explain in that vid😜). We love though the more we cook, the better to food gets!
